It's not a huge issue, it takes just long enough to boot up that I have that knee jerk reaction to second guess if I did something wrong, like leave the lens cap on, lol.
Thanks for that. I have a G9 and I keep on reading reviews and comments on the G911, as I'm vaguely looking at upgrading. However the G911 is quite expensive, here in Oz; is the G911 that much better than the G9 to warrant an upgrade? Hope you can advise. Mike in Oz
I think it depends on your use case. I'd say if you do a lot of video or action photography, the AF improvement with phase detection is worth it. However, if you find your G9 works just fine for what you do, I'd stick with it.
