Can't believe you guys still put in that much amount of work into these UA-cam videos while everyone else continues to pump out easy-to-make content that isn't as fulfilling to watch. Props to you!

You really don't have to put down other content creators to praise and compliment Corridor's work, you really don't have to do that especially considering that there are many different genres of UA-cam content that all take large amounts of effort.

Steve the landlord is literally just part of the crew.
I think in the burning stuntman video he mentioned he used to be a stuntman as well
Steve the landlord was there to collect rent, they were like..."rent's gonna be a little late cause we lost some files, let me show you"! LMAO!
0:11 I totally thought he was gonna say "Are you aware of Square Space".
Yeah or something like that. I think we all associate Jake with sponsorships now :D
"It was re-saving over a file, over and over..." Yeah I had a piece of 'professional' software that ran a data acquisition unit that hand a "save/load" button rather than separate save and load buttons. The software was so bad one time, making a bunch of 0kb files instead of actually saving the data, that I was about ready to chuck the pelican case with the laptop and the data acquisition box off a cliff. Literally a cliff, that we were working next to. When youre doing something that is so involved and takes so many people, the last thing you want to deal with is software weirdness that is wasting dozens of peoples time.
It's really annoying that some of the most expensive professional software can have some of the worst bugs, because it's not used as widely as regular software, so the bugs might take a long time to surface, or everyone who uses it knows the bugs and just do something to avoid it, instead of the bugs actually getting fixed.
@Frank Rauen
That's really interesting.
I remember once seeing an interview of Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, and he was talking about his first synth. He said it wasn't the synth that was able to do the most, but it felt musical. I could imagine that taps into some of the same, that it doesn't matter that you can do a lot of things that you're never going to use if everything is super clunky to do.
@Frank Rauen
Make the common case fast.
I have nearly daily battles with a digital to analogue film recorder because the software is from 1995 and the machine uses SCSI. the machine is 2 years old. why would they not update the hardware to usb or make the machine networkable!
Goes to show that you have to know every little detail of your workflow and need to iron it out at home/lab before you take it on the road. When you're out there, there is no best buy, there is no Walmart, there is no access to Internet. Just you, what you've brought, and your process.
Lesson learned.
Imagine being kicked around and bullied for a day only to hear "yeah soo.... Eeeh... We did kind off do save instead of save as... So we need you to go through all that again..."
That's like every office job in the world.

The kid in old yeller
I mean, technically he's not wrong. We all die eventually. :P
SaviToon 69 likes *nice.*
did he stutter?
I fully agree with this man.
Old Yeller was bitten by a wolf protecting his owner. The mindset at the time was that all wolves were rabid. However, we now know wolves can be territorial and attack dogs without being rabid. Rather than waiting to see if rabies would set in, they opt to shoot Old Yeller because they didn't want to risk him turning on the family.
Question: If Travis had a gun to shoot Old Yeller, why the Hell didn't he shoot the wolf?

All the work out into this and the believability of it earned you a sub. Absolutely astonishing.
Cursed footage: I've dealt with this before, and had the exact same frame shifting effect. It's annoying af, especially when it displays correctly in preview but is different when rendered. For me it was because of the cursed framerates that are 23.97, 29.97, and 59.94. They are always buggy when combined or put into projects with 24, 25, 30, 50, 60 fps.
The fix for me was to convert to a whole framerate by rendering each layer in the decimal framerate first then rendering the rendered video file as a whole framerate (with frame drop or a few interpolated frames depending on length). Alternatively, you can save each correct frame as a PNG and place the frames in correct sequential order manually - tedious but guaranteed to work for smaller comps.
So please, pray that the obsolete system that are the decimal variations die out, and that people stop using them completely. Like why do some filmmakers still film in 23.97 fps with digital cameras?! The historical significance of decimal framerates died out decades ago and is not necessary in any way since all video has been digital for years. It just causes headaches and confusion.
i have the same issue right now on a project with everything in 29.97fps (maybe the drop frame is desynchronized between comps?)
Like this so Corridor sees it! I've had this happen before in Sony Vegas
I’ve had issues with that before too. Preserve frame rate when nested has to be checked I believe.
It's not cursed , they gotta check the software they're using . Two issues and both at software level , can't be a coincidence
Yeah, Captain Disillusion has a great video on framerates for the previously uninitiated like myself ua-cam.com/video/DyqjTZHRdRs/v-deo.html
OMG I have had to literally show this vid to people who got fooled into thinking the actual video was real... there are whatsapp viral posts on this video claiming that it s an actual military footage (my dad forwarded one version), which is a testament to the skill of this crew. Hats off guys!!

It takes forever but it's way better to do it all by hand, and you have so much more control that way.
raymantisful I know it’s a planer tracker. Using it for roto work is insanely quicker than doing everything by hand, and it’s super precise. Of course there is still a lot of key framing, that’s inevitable, but using the tracker to get rough guide shapes already speeds up the process.
