Sa Wakas, Kaloka. This time, I will be talking about the thing I try to avoid the most. haha.😁 The Truth about Salary and Tax as a Nurse in Germany. Btw, additionalpays such as Overtime pays, Night Differentials, Holiday Pays, etc. will be discussed next time. For the moment, I hope this video will be of help!
*Please take not that all these are rough estimation and I have tried my best to search each and every deductions and confirm it to my current salary and tax deductions. INcome TAx is a progressive Tax so it can differ from people and time to time. so if its not the same with yours I'm sure it'll be close to the actual ones
Came across your vids. Im ER nurse here in CA...to give ball park idea d2 sa US..I work 48 hrs per week (4 days 12hr shft ), paycheck bi-weekly and makes $ 11,800 gross per month, after all deductions net $ 7,800 monthly, not to brag..just to encouraged young nurses....based on my paystub average per month. Expensive to live here, modest lifestyle you'll save lot. Just want to be open about it.
US nurses are better payed as Germany nurses..that‘s the truth - Switzerland & Sweden, Ireland in Europe part have better working condition or salary condition than Germany (just to compare)
Your vlog is very helpful for aspiring PHRN like me who plans to endure abroad. Plus I really like your hair, you look so pretty with that colour. Keep inspiring us. Way to go Ms Karcy!!
wow salamat!!!!! I like that style too. maybe i try it aain next time 😊😊
In general this is a very good calculation!
But when a Filipino doesn't live in a "Wohnheim => Dorm" the expenses are a little higher:
Appartement: more in a direction to 450 €. And don't forget you are not in a tropic area. You must heat your appartement. So the costs rising per month up to 550€. In the begining I think much more because you will freezing everytime. So it could be rise for the first 2-3 years up till to 250 € per month, maybe more.
If you live a longer way from your working place (20-40 Km are normal in Germany) you have to calculate the car all in all with round about 350 € p.m.
And don't forget the winter clothes and shoes in the first year. Its not under 750 €. Only a T-Shirt, Jeans and flippers are not possible. Otherwise you are doomed to death by cold. ;D
This is right. More expenses coming fo me pag lumipat na ako hehe
binge watching your vids. Grabe super helpful!
Hello 👋 I'm starting A1 from next week and I found you the first for information regarding my studies
Goodluck po!!!
Australia nurse here, a former UK nurse too. Australia is another option. Pay is also very good here especially for experienced nurses of more than 10 years could reach up to 40 plus AUD an hour, it is also a multi-ethnic society, Australians like the Brits are also very polite and gentled mannered very nice people. It's very easy because English is the language. The place I may say is more like CANADA but not us cold. It is exactly a crossbreed between US and British system. 1 is to 5 nurse patient ratio but night shift is 1 is to 8 or 10. If you reach 10 years you have a long service leave of 4 months with pay. They still need more nurses. But I am also retiring soon to the Philippines. Good luck to the young new Filipino nurses who are planning to work abroad, there are still plenty of opportunities as long as you have the experience, more countries are opening up for the Filipino nurses. Let's help the Philippines to be a better first world country soon! Oh one more thing there are tons of Filipino nurses here like almost 35-40% in our ward alone not including the cleaners, kitchen staff, orderlies you will be amazed we are talking Tagalog all the time.
Saang part po ng aus madaming pinoy?
Ok. Abolish ielts then we will all go to canada, USA, UK 😁
@@user-zn6zy6qq4o Caregiver bagsak nio sa Canada. Buti yang ibang bansa diretcho nurse.
@@user-zn6zy6qq4o oet is easy😂😂
Adam Sinclair hi po. may i ask why are you retiring in the philippines? im just wondering since aus has a better retirement plan.
Fellow. Nurses...Come To Germany.....Dankeschön!!!
Thank you Karcy! This vlog is really helpful..
Tawa po ako sa thumbnail nyo Madam 😂 By the way well explained po ang video nyo regarding salary and tax.
Hi kbyan thanks for sharing the info about the salary and tax
Vielen dank fur die infos
Tara din po sa bahay
I’m a student nurse and your videos are very inspiring!
thank you so much!!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
Been waiting for this vid ✨thanks Maam Karcy
you are most welcome!
Well i think, the only acceptable offer in Germany is 3000 euro and above. Below that salary offer better go to middle east country they offer tax free salary or U.S.A / U.K. By the way, Great video very informative.
Hello, I'll be relocating to Berlin soon and I'm just curious where can I get accommodation for 350 euros per month (any recommended website? tips?). I've been browsing online but could only find apartments ranging from 600-1000 eur. My understanding is that apartment hunting in Berlin is very competitive. Hope to hear from you! :)
Hello Ate Karcy. Salamat this is what i have been looking for. Detailed and very informative. Hope to see you soon in Germany. ❤️
no worries mam. im happy nakahelp ako!!! please share nalang to your other nurse friends 🥰
You just have to learn the German language.
English is only a language for communication with foreigners, note! not every foreigner speaks English perfectly.
In America, English is compulsory, it is the official language in America.
Thank you soooooooo much Ms. Karcy for this very informative video! 🙌🏼
hi ericka. salamat sa pagwatch ♥️
Hi mam karcy, fan here of your vlog. Mam pwede bang malaman kung magkano night differential and overtime pay. and ilan percent ang additional if u have ur duty on weekend and holiday. Thanks po sa mga vlog ninyo. Ganda po lahat and for me it is really helpful for us😊.

Maam pwede din po magsideline during day off po?? Like sa Resto or magPDN?para may extra income atleast man lang..

Thank u so much madam godbless ♥️♥️♥️
Wow. Sis. Sobrang ganda mo dto..!!
Pwede po ba maging nursing aid even not a graduate of nursing basta makapasa sa german language exams?
So medyo favorable padin pala ung tax dahil kasama na din dun ung unemployment and health insurance natin and pension, pwede na din po pala hehe.
yes lahat naman worth it at di nacocorrupt ung tax na binabayad dito :)
18 years here but an engineer, got my german citizenship. You are right, madami ang deductables but may pinupuntahan din naman. ☺😊😀 high Standard of living too n may savings pa. Religion tax meron din.
i am frm Nepal and i have dine pcl nursing (staff nurse) now im in germany what should i do for here to get germany registered krankenschwesterin?
Been planning to pursue my applicationand i came across in your video. Thank you for sharing.
How about Nebenkosten (Strom/Wasser), phone, Fahrkosten (Arbeitsplatz/ Haus), privatversicherungen, etc.
You forgot to mention alcohol consumption in the video. 😃Those alcohol behind cost too. Sad to say dito sa US nurses are the most discreet alcohol and drug abuser because of the stress nature of a nurses job. Not saying everyone but a large numbers.
dito people huy alcohol to enjoy haha. kasi super wotk life balance dito. pero good idea!!!!! gawa ako video about outher expenses!
Danke!!! 😍
Suuuuuuper helpful ♥️
is it easy to bring your immediate family over to Germany when you get employed?

Hi i would like to ask if ok lang ba 1,700 euro starting salary o masyado syang mababa?
is this brutto or netto? i remember in 2017 istarted with brutto of 1900
Hi Merry Christmas to you first.🎄🎁🎄🎁
Would just want to advice you to have an accident insurance ( Unfall Versicherung) and Liability Insurance ( Haftpflichtversicherung) this are very important insurances like the Liability insurance its an insurance against damage which the insured person causes to others. Coz you didn’t mention in your video. If you don’t mind just an advice.
ah yes because these insurances are optional thats why i didnt include but maybe i can make another video about it and other payables a person could get hehehe
Amg laki pala ng tax. =) thanks for the info. Bless you.
Thanks for the info! Tc
+ foods and rents pa.. Hehehe.. Ubos din pala
very informative, thank you for sharing
bitte schön!
Cute nmn ni miss Karcy.. Thanks for this blog.. Tc
Salamat po hehe 🤭😊
Naku! Mag saudi arabia ka nlng, kung 80k ang sahud yun na yun wala ng bawas,at wala pa masyadong temptasyun sa mga shopping malls, 180k to 200k nga sahud mo sa germany sa TAX,halos kalahati na bawas, hndi libre ang accomodation, transpo, electric and water bills and net compare d2 sa saudi🇸🇦🇵🇭
Yup, Germany has really high tax rates especially for singles as compared to Saudi Arabia, but the question is that, can Saudi Arabia match the quality of life one gets in Germany?
Shinji Komoda i think not is an advantage here in Germany for the future you can get your pension not like in the middle east you can get your nett salary with not much deduction but later when your old and can’t work anymore pag uwi sa Pinas balik sa hirap ng buhay kung walang investment or savings. Thats the difference.
@@supercute7636 exactly my point. Other than that, there are a lot more benefits Germany can offer that Saudi Arabia cannot. One of the "benefits" I'm talking about is that when you stay long enough in Germany, you'd get to learn the German language which is a very profitable one.
ay hehe never ko ata naging optuon saudi. as in sa totoo lng tlga kahit iharap pa sakin lahat ng kayamanan ng saudi hehe. di ako magwork dun kasi i dont think i will be happy working there and wont get the work life balance that i get here in Germany tlga. :)
Yes 😊😊 may appropriate tax for every work status hehe
@@KarcyViola Vielen Dank 😊.
Anyway, i would say im satisfied here.
Atleast well informed ka. Nasayo na yan san mo trip magtrabaho, but no meed to bad mouth kasi sobrang panget ng value nayun. Good that you help yourself be informed.

Sehr gut! Danke schon 😀
Hello tenten. Kasi travel is life tayo. Hehehe work life balance ang goal ko hehe
How about the church tax?
What can you say about nurses in switzerland po? Is it hard to find a job as a nurse there? Hoping for you response. Thanks po Maam
hi. in switzerland. im waiting to reach my 3rd year working here in germany and i will try to apply in switzerland. so babalitaan ko kayo in a year hehe.pero so far di naman nahirapan kaibigan ko magapply dun! mejo iba lng language dun pero very close to german tlga parang accented german.
Hehe
Nikki Gonzales honestly, it’s a big adjustment in everything, as in, in everything. I gave up a high paying career and moved to Germany. It’s a long process but as long as your husband is financially doing well, you’ll survive. You won’t worry the financial aspects at least, only the adjustment and transition period.
ito naman ay in general sa buong deutschland. nagiiba lang sa laki gn sweldo mo. im not speaking for my own sweldo kasi tulad sabi ko, mas mababa binabayaran ko dito at maaaari din ganun sa iba. :) im not really super worried about the deductions amkasj may napupuntahan naman. san ka po mam
Refundable tax?
Hpw about po sa night differential and over time?
Please check my latest video!
Was meinst du? ... naja!!
Apply lang either rekta sa finanzamt or online
