At 4:12, when the light was used, it became much more helpful. Thanks.

Very helpful. I was in doubt. It is a simple thing but for some reason brings insecurity at the moment to lift it. Thanks!!!!

    Thanks for the information.
I am grateful to know where the jack extension rods are stored. They were exactly where you said.

I really enjoy videos like these, since I’m not an original owner it’s always fun to learn what the OEM details are vs what I have. Thanks for this!

Those jacks and equipment was garbage. Someone stole mine so I’m pretty sure they did me a favor.

Kyle can you do me a favor. Put your jeep on a flat surface and use a tape measure and see how tall it is. from the floor to the highest point of the soft top. Needing new tyres and I want 35s and hopefully it will fit in the garage

Another option if the bottle jack is not tall enough, A wide piece of wood under the jack or a something equivalent that is going to hold the weight. but has to be quite wide for stability . :D

I have the bottle jack and lug remover tool but no extension rods. Can the bottle jack be used without the extension rods?

How do you raise the seat like that?

On that jack fully extended what was the maximum height of it.

Throw some lumber under that jack and you'll be fine. Scrap of 2×4 would've gotten that job done.

Obviously something larger, 2x6 or 2x8 would be wider and more stable. And DON'T try that on very soft ground. The board might split. Go with something larger, at least 4" thick

Hey Jeep Brother! I have been driving around with this jack and had no idea...
Lmfao! I was vacuuming under the carpet and stumbled upon the side pieces. I will never use this thing. If God forbid I get a flat or anything like that I have the famous AAA. Great video!! 👍🍔🍺

@@KyleSVT I know a lot of Jeepers would laugh at me but that's why I have AAA and there is an excellent tire shop 4 streets away from my Jeep. She is a 1999 TJ and what a babe! I bought her last year after doing YJ's and CJ's since forever...😇

Is it safe to jack on the Dana Axle? I might add to make sure it's on a straight solid or hard surface and not dirt or sand for safety.

    A 2 x 4 under jack would give you a few inches

My jack is entirely covered with layers of carpeting and it’s all installed under the chair bolts and all that. I don’t even think I can get to the tool kit and jack without removing the chair. Am I doing something wrong? Lmfao. I literally just gotta remove the spare tire on the back so I can take apart the third brake light and install new bulbs

Are you sure your seat is all the way forward? The small lever at the top of the seat needs to be pushed to allow the seat to come forward all the way. You'll have to do this to access the jack (for a TJ at least)
