Fitting 37s that easily is probably one of the coolest changes with the JL/JT, and they look SO GOOD
” it's a daily”... *Puts 37in tires and hydraulic steering on it*
The Mr. Rogers of Jeeps!!! I love this guy! Great videos!!
Yup, I put the Mamba M13 wheels on my ZJ and they ride and look great!
Yea, been running 37’s on my JL Moab (Sahara) and I pulled the inner fender liners off my stock fenders. Put the American Adventure Lab High Line LEDs on, gained 3.5” clearance. No rubbing at all.
I just bought a sport s unlimited for a daily driver, I'm looking for someone with actual onroad experience and not a bunch of jamokes in a forum who can tell me, how's your gas mileage with 37's, and have ya had any early wearing of the suspension or axles? Thanks!
Will be watching this build. Thanks Matt!
Love your build videos. Makes me really wish you had a JKU.
I definitely need to do this on my JK. I just got 35's put on, had to road trip it 450 miles and boy did it rev high before shifting. Too bad Zautomotive doesn't have one of these for the JK, I have a Tazer on my challenger and absolutely love it
So much to love and so much to hate about new vehicles. Also I noticed a lot of weights on your rims. I have 37 13.50 r17 Toyo mt. I put 10 oz of air soft bb’s in each tire and it’s the best balance I have ever had. I know it’s a much debated topic but it works great for me and I learned it from Bleepin Jeep.
Hey, Matt...I'm real interested in the minibikes you have on the workbench. Can you give a little information on what you've done engine wise, etc. How about a quick video on that build?
Looks great Matt!
Extremely helpful! Thanks man
I'm so glad you put the treps on the scorp
The lower part of the fenders are removable, just for that reason. I learned that from LiteBrite.
what is your take on a built m200 with re-gear arb locker and upgraded axle shafts running 37in tires ? probably moderate wheeling.
Great Vid and great wheels. What offset are the wheels? Can you do a front on shot to see how much they poke out. Steve
Great, informative video. Do you have the DV-8 inner liners on this? Were there any issues with tires rubbing on bumpers and/or liners? Thanks again. Did you say this Jeep has a 2" 1/2 lift?
Hi Matt, just want to know how did you fix fix the tpms warning also what tpms brand did you buy to make it work and how much did you pay discount tires to fix tpms warning lights?
I watched every second of the hell and back trip. I really look forward to a follow up of how the build went
The JKU I bought came with 16's with 28 inch tires. It took me year, but bought a set of 17 inch rims, and some 33 inch tires and it was like having a whole new Jeep. I'll go bigger in January.
Are you still riding 37's on stock and if so hows the wear the parts and driving coming along ?
I'm so glad you are putting 37s 😁😁😁
what is the right size for wheel locks and lug nuts for 2019 jeep wrangler sport jl? What is the name brand for your wheel lock and lug nuts and where can i buy them?
Tks yes I have jl and yes I'm going to fix the size of the tires on the computer in the ratio I'm going to upgrade to 4.88 but it's going to take a little while for that I don't think I'm going to do something crazy off road I need to upgrade my front differential for a Dana 44 I just want to know if you haven't have any issue running 37' because you know manufacturer seis running 35s it is the biggest you can go on sport and Sahara
Yess they will!!!!!
As much as I watch your videos I just realize your only about 15 minutes from my house lol! I’m pretty sure I’ve passed you a couple of times going down the road
"...late shift up this hill" - sounds like an automatic. 18:35 "6 speed transmission". Could you be missing a couple of fingers on that count lol? I love your videos, thanks!
I just bought a Jeep Wrangler JLU on July 14, 2019 and it seems that a lot of the offroad channels are switching to Gladiators. I'm just getting started with the JLU, with emphasis on getting it paid off first; so, I'm probably going to have to go into the rerun world to see again what I've already forgot. LOL
Ordered my tire sensors off eBay from a quality vendor and Wally world installed new tires and them and programed them worked as should .
I have the 3.5 rock krawler coming in, but rn I’m on the stock lift with no fender liner and road armor fenders, do you think I could fit 37’s
Great video and very informal. Will be getting a tazer for my jl in the future.
The JL is looking exceptional =) What is a steering delete kit? You installing some fully autonomous driving in the Jeep? lol =P
The thumbnail pic with the lights on the steps are sweet!!! Where did you find that!!
I just figured it out. It was bugging me like forever! Matt, sorry you sound like Mr. Rogers. God, now I can sleep. lol Keep it up Matt thanks for the videos!!!
Also what brand name are you buy for your front and rear bumber?
I have sport s same color as yours will 37 fit on my sport a? And what lift kit ?
Haha Matt said he doesn't like to many crazy add ons good clean looks. Have you looked at the scorpion crawler or the Comanche lately not insulting either vehicle they are absolutely gorgeous and maybe maybe they aren't the craziest builds ever but they're still pretty crazy to this guy
Matt, your tire starts as a circle unmounted and turns into a "D shape" once load has been applied. Your loaded tire height off the ground is not what you should program into tazer.
I'd agree with this. I just installed 37's (Nitto Trail Grappler MT) on my JLU - Set 37 in the JL Tazer and speed is dead on. Tested with GPS and a speed sign in my neighborhood.
@@bleepinjeep Matt is correct, BF's for some reason always seem to run small.
How’s the jl sport holding up on the 37’s
Sup bud like your videos.what is the mpg with the 37? And is your jl 4 turbo
What is the brand name of the fender flares did you buy?
I have 2018 Sahara jk I chenge tires for 34” 11-50 I need reset computer
Did you change your the fenders for this jeep already?
Thanks for the video, I am about ready to do the same thing on my JL. Did you re-gear first or are you still running 3.45's? Are your Mamba Wheels -12 offset, and did you add wheel spacers? I watched the video a couple times and didn't see it mentioned. Thank you
I sure wish he would answer this but it doesn't look like he answers any questions on this video.
Im getting 16.7 mpg rn on 32”
But i have really touched the freeway yet
Tazor pretty sweet !
Great video, will you share rim specs? Width, offset, backspacing? I’m thinking about going to 37’s on my two door jl rubicon manual and realized my stock rims aren’t wide enough for 37’s.
Hello Matt! I've searched far and wide for a video walkthrough on how to upgrade to 97+ doors! I understand the wiring and mounting, but I'm curious if you have a video or know of a page that would give some insight on how to relocate/modify the striker to work, or install the correct ones. Thanks!
@@bleepinjeep because my 88 doors are shot :( plus the 97+ doors are nice and the door panels look better. Gonna see if I can fabricate something today to get them to work.
Great video and I dig your chillness hahaha. Can I ask, over the last 9 months, have you noticed any premature wear on the axles? Is the gas mileage still looking alright? I want 37's for my JLUSS so bad, but all of the *experts* on the forums say my Jeep will commit suicide immediately. It's just a daily driver out here in Cleveland, though, maybe some forest trails, but no rock crawling or mudding. They look so good. Thanks in advance, and have a happy Easter!
Not sure if you went to 37 yet. The bfg ko2’s just came out with a C load tire in a 37z they are almost 5 pounds lighter than a 35 d load
Shoot I need to up my gears so I can get 35's. Right now with just 33's my speedometer says I'm doing 45 but I'm actually doing 50.
You said electronic steering, does that mean there is no mechanical connection between the box and the wheel?
Those TPMS will sure cost Discount Tire some time to put the stock ones in. I hear there is a 3rd party TPMS that works but don't recall the name of them. Likely it's best to just use the factory ones. JLo looks good. Hows the acceleration with the 37's? Might want to put a couple pounds on a trailer to pull and see how she does.
What is the stock gear ratio in this jeep?
I’m curious what you think when you crawl a bit in 4 Low, Without gassing it does it pull those tires ok?
On my 98 zj I went from 27inch tires to 31s and it didn’t mess with my MPG I have 3.73 gears front and rear
Use a GPS speedo app on your phone to check the speedometer in the vehicle.
I heard there is another device, very much like the JL Taser that will allow your stereo screen to MIRROR your phone screen 8:47 . You wouldn't happen to know much about that, would you? I keep hearing the word MIRROR or MIRRORING.
You sound like one of the characters from mister Roger's. Therefore subbed.
looks mean bro....love it
So do you see a need to change the gear ratio with the 37's, or would that depend on how you and the wife plan on driving it? Love the channel by the way, so much good information.
@@thatrealba Yeah I watched and he said he didn't think he would need to, just wondering if that opinion is the same with he and wife driving it for a bit now. That would be amazing if there was no need though, that Tazer is an amazing little piece of tech!
Also....you've been waiting for the wife's approval? Maybe, haha
What Gear Ratio are you running in this jeep?
Yes. Very easily
I like the look of the stock steel bumper without the wings + a winch plate . Stubby Stock.
Had the same problem with tpms sensors getting new tires installed at Discount. Should've just left the old ones in instead of paying for their new junk.
Does using the tazer void your warranty?
The stock tires are supposedly a 31, i measured mine and they were more like 28-29
Unless the tire pressure is very high, there will be a flat spot on the bottom of the tires which reduce the measurement with tires and Jeep mounted. Weight of Jeep will flatten them a tad and that would be reduced not by 1/2 but by 1 to 1 ratio so a 1 inch flat foot will be 1 inch.
Any trouble balancing those 37’s?
Miss you dudes. We need to go back out and hit some trails.
What is the offset of these wheels?
Just saying I have almost 50k on my KO2s and they still have some decent tread left. Been minor rock crawling, general mudding, driving through a bunch of sand and a lot of trail riding on top of the daily driver. So ya, BFG KO2s are amazing for daily driver but not aggressive enough for me
I completely agree. KO2's are great in sand and dry road and minor rock crawling. Above that not so much. After I get a few more miles on mine I think I'll switch to Nitto Ridge Grapplers.
J Smith I may be wrong, but aren’t the Ridge Grapplers a MT/AT hybrid? That seems like it would be a very small step up in aggressiveness. Why not go to a full MT?
@@genisis53 Man I'm glad you caught that! What I meant to say was that I am going to be putting on the KM3's . My brain must have been thinking something else. Thanks.
JLo looks so much better with the larger tires!!!!
Jeep life
Hey man, Did you regear it since going 37?
From what I see - the computer MPG is estimated - it appears to be OFF by 2 MPG LESS then what it shows :(
Be proud of those grey wiskers
Good question I got a Jeep Wrangler Sport and I want to put 37 but those stars are going to work okay with the car it means you're not going to have any problem with the differentials and if you take it off road you're not going to end in Breaking something and yes I got 3.5 lift kit I know this is going to be your wife daily driving car and it's also my wife to but it's going to be my weekend warrior I hope you can answer my question I know it's been a while since you posted the video but I thank you in advance
If you have a jl make sure to update the computer. Other than that itll be fine but maybe not the best gear ratio for crawling.
What happened to the factory wheels? I'd like to buy them if you still have them
So this really did help the trans shifting? In theory that helped the mpg?
BleepinJeep thanks man. Rough country makes one too for I think a buck fifty. Hopefully it works on the taco!
Do y’all ever go wheeling. Or is this just a how to sight?
Hay what's up with mini bike on the table ?? For kids or you ? They make good get back to the trail head if broken maybe ? Check out red beards garage
Are you concerned about the sport axles?
BleepinJeep Right on! I’d figure 37s is pretty major on a sport. I have 33s and want 35s but people make it sound like my axles will explode.....
@@TykCub 35 should be good even on some decently hard stuff with the jl axles. These axles are supposedly stronger than past generations. 37s will probably explode if you try to do anything much harder than driving to the mall though lol.
Someone said “flabbergasted ”😳
On ur experience, u think the jl sport stock axle can handle 37s and doing minor offroading? Because i might do it...😊
Minor, but the t case is 2.72:1 so it's not the best for low and slow wheeling.
37s on JL sport axles isn’t the best idea. You’d want to avoid spinning the tires much. At least the 37” Ko2 is pretty light and only marginally larger than many other 35s. I’d stop at 35s on a sport. Even on the rubicon I’d stop at 37s if you do more than drive roads.
Jay P thank u! Getting a jlu rubicon soon and yes 37s is what i really wanna put on. So ur saying 37s in a rubicon is good enough for minor offroading?
popoypoop If you’re set on 37s and you want to off-road to some degree the Rubicon is a great way to go. Some people don’t really consider the amount of differences the Rubicon provides. Wider axles, higher fenders, larger diffs, lockers, 4.10 gears, larger brakes, 4:1 Transfer case, electronic sway bar disconnect and sliders. The wider axles and higher fenders fit 37s better and with less wheel offset than the sport. The 4.10 gears and the 8 speed transmission can handle 37s fine whereas the 3.45 gears in sport are not ideal.
How did you fix the tpms warning light. I install 35x12.50r20 on my jeep wrangler sports jl and my tpms warning light came on? How can i fix this please help reply asap thanks.
Did you regear
Thats weird... i get 13 mpg on my new 2021 jeep wrangler rubicon jlu. No aftermarket parts an i have like 1k miles on it. I keep seeing vids of ppl getting more mpg on jeeps that are modded. what gives???
Taser should be able to do TPMS Relearn ?
@@bleepinjeep I have no idea ,just guessed it might do a relearn . From what I've been reading just now its supposed to do it on its own after 10 minutes above 15 mph .You were going faster than 15 on I-40 I hope. LOL I also looked the sensor part number up and its the same from 13 up JK to 19 JL . Dunno .
@@bleepinjeep Funny that Discount Tire sold you those TPMS and then failed to program them !! What a foul ball.
I am getting any where from 24 to 25 mpg right now we will see how much it changes when winter hits. This is with my 2door sport s with the hardtop and it goes down a little if i use the ac i am using stock tiers aka gas geter's and the 3.6 motor complete stock at the moment. i got my jeep on 7519 now its 71219 looking to do stuff tom mine in the future prob like 6 months to a year before i start modding it out.
This is my biggest accomplishment. 37” tires.
Stock suspension?????
What about warranty?
Looks great
Would you drive this to Alice's Restaurant?
"You want to drive a Jeep, you gotta have a lift an stuff..."
I have a feeling this is gonna turn into a build and you wife will get the next jeep 🤣🤣
Hmmm, you maybe on to something... But I think she really likes it still!
