Thank you so much, my dear friend! You are in luck because you will be seeing more Monaco stamps in the near future! As always, sending my very best wishes from Provence 😊
@@serga76.bodrov Hello and thank you so much for your kind words. I agree with you, postage stamps from Monaco are truly beautiful. They do bring me much pleasure! Stay tuned as soon enough, I will be posting some more!
Even in such a recent year as 1968 many of the stamps still have an old world elegance and with lovely subtle colours. Beautiful stamps! Thank you for sharing, Laurent. Enjoy your weekend!
You are absolutely right, Charnie! You will soon see that even Monaco stamps of the 70s have that same classic charm! I hope everything is fine with you, my dear friend. Have a wonderful weekend 😊
@@chrislovesstamps Merci beaucoup, Chris ! Yes indeed, and the fact is that the same French artists that design(ed) and engrave(d) Monaco stamps are the same ones who design(ed) French stamps (P. Lambert, Quillivic, Jubert, Bétemps, J. Piel, Gandon, Lacaque, etc..)
@@Laurent-PhilatelieGandon is really famous, to me. Talking about French stamps is bad though, I want to collect them now. Another 'problem' with French stamps are that the cancellations are so nice too. But I lean towards mint now. Nothing decided yet.😂
@chrislovesstamps THE AMAZING THING IS THAT YOU SEEM TO BE FIRED UP AGAIN, AND THAT'S GREAT! Pierre Gandon is my second favorite after the Master himself.. Albert Decaris! I have many signed FDCs from him and original artwork. I am in love with his style!!
@@Laurent-PhilatelieThe master himself...I thought you would say Czeslaw Stania. Decaris is a well known name for me too. What I don't like about France is it's issuing policy....too many nowadays. So if I would collect France I would limit myself to maybe until the euro, where yhe francs ended.
@@kakaibaumtvmix4537 Awwww.. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! That means the world to me! Just subscribed to your channel as well. About to check it out. Sending my very best wishes from Provence.
OOH! Is that a stamp guide, the book? The 68 Olympics were held in Monaco?? I didn't know this or is this representative of the Monaco contingence? Monaco, such a special place. Worthy of being within the borders of France!!!
@@richardcorona3564 Hello pumpkin. This is a stamp catalogue. The 1968 summer olympics were held in Mexico, and the stamps were produced to commemorate the event. And yes, we had such a wonderful time in Nice and Monaco! We will be back there soon! 😘❤
Good day! Thanks for this beautiful video review!
