Oh, yeah! Thanks much for this upload. I lost the only bootleg of this act aoooo many moons ago. Hard to find a source. Lost My DayJob---literally!! This was a dicey era. The Grateful Dead were out of work w/ Garcia sidelined from the July diabetic coma. Billy, Brent, Mickey, Phil, and Bobby were trying to stay out of the unemployment line w/ their fingers crossed for a hopeful continuing future w/ the Grateful Dead and Jerry.

ONLY 3 songs in . I LL BE BACK . tHANK YOU Mister poster man . ☮
wow what a rareity. this brings me back to 3-4-88 up in placer county fairgrounds in roseville, ca. 1 of only 2 that year. sitting in front row resting my arms on the stage, bobby was in the line up for these shows. it was f in awsome. fun times! , fun times indeed.
Yes. Saw them at a place called My Father's Place in Roslyn NY (Long Island). I was standing right over Brents shoulder watching him play. Black Flag, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Aerosmith, The Police, Tom Petty, as well as hopeful comics Billy Crystal, Eddie Murphy, and Andy Kaufman, and a host of others graced that stage. Here is a quote from the owner. "My name is Michael “Eppy” Epstein In 1971, I opened My Father’s Place at 19 Bryant Avenue in Roslyn with Richie Havens as our first performer. I operated at that location until 1987. It was fun and dangerous. I operated My Father’s Place in various locations in Roslyn, Queens, Westbury and recently in Glen Cove. Now we are back in Roslyn and back in business as a Supper Club inside The Roslyn Hotel."
@@Jeff-S I was at that show. Purchased a bag of 'shrooms in the bathroom and rest is a bit of a blur. Think I hung out at the bar;didnt get close to the stage. Didn't have to if I recall. It was right there!
Kool! Seen Go Ahead at the Country Club in Reseda, CA…. Can’t remember the year, but fun times.. I think there was a Pasadena Community College show as well for a SEVA (eye saving donations) benefit show in ‘88…? Fun times. Love Alex Ligertwood!!👍🌊🏄♂️🌊. We are everywhere, peace, yalls!!
Well alright:) this was a great stumble on tonight. This band was fun. I had the Universal Amphitheater gig on cassette back a lifetime ago, wore it out!! Medicated Goo is hoot also. Thanks Joe
Damn.... I was attending UWM in 1986 and this is the first I heard that they played there. Maybe if I would have gone to class more I would have seen a flyer or something.
Track 12 is called “Nobody’s.” A promo vid clip of this was made (produced by Justin K. and Gian-Carlo Coppola): ua-cam.com/video/p6qmh6OP2hg/v-deo.htmlsi=dIJiFk09cGgRD-s8
Possibly because Phish picked up some of this flavor from playing with some of these guys on Santana tour a few (6) years later. Trey talks about how much he learned on those sit-ins in the Marc Maron interview and elsewhere.
Was at this tour and it's great to hear.
Started at the jersey shore and then new Brunswick all ages 16 ,we had a blast and heard dark star
Seen them at the Metro Zoo Edison NJ same tour
Blew my mind to shreds
Fantastic!!!

@@joelperry8187 Yes! No bad seat in the house. In fact mostly one big floor space.

Quick question without doing any of my own research, but was it these shows that brought in Hey Jude & Dear Mr Fantasy and stuff???
No they were already there. Pigpen sang hey Jude ,once i think and fantasy came in 85 i think
I hear Phish.
Tell me why...

Saw them at the Boathouse in Norfolk VA in 1986
Wowza...cool jams
