Agreed! However, the issue we face is that those who were indoctrinated with Marxism, would be the robot in a 1950's B horror movie when posed with a conundrum. Arms flail.... smoke comes out of ears... repeats over and over... "does not compute... does not compute" Unlike you and I, we _know_ history, because we were taught it, but those whom you refer... were not. They were simply told that socialism / communism has... "just not been done RIGHT yet!" They were then indoctrinated with the idea that THEY know the secret to making it work to achieve that utopia. This is why if they were to _truly_ listen to Xi tell her story, they might even believe what she says, but would simply reply..."that is because "proper" socialism / communism has not yet been implemented, but I [size 1 billion font there] know how to make it work". Those who were indoctrinated in this way will very likely be lost to us forever, because they have no ACTUAL history in which to be re-familiarized. Their entire world view would be utterly destroyed, so the brain kicks into survivor mode and denies reality. This is why the cult is incapable of a good faith reply, conversation, response when their ideas are flatly debunked and forced to reconcile their understanding of the world.
      .
This is also why America can NEVER achieve a "peaceful divorce". I could list about 10 LITERALLY insurmountable issues that would arise, but chief among them, is the inability to operate in good faith. To the Marxist cult, you and I are the enemy. We are free thinkers, conservatives or whatever, just so long as we do not ascribe to THEIR view of the world, we are "othered". They will under ZERO circumstances, honor an agreement with anyone to simply divide the country and leave us alone. I fear that 2024 will be the worst year we have seen yet. The cult is not backing down and we will see half of the country will not only fail to accept the results, but both will deny validity of them ... and BOTH will be right!
      .
When a Constitutional Republic has NO faith in the vote, it simply cannot stand!

I just downloaded Xi's book on Audible- looking forward to getting into it!
I feel like trying to tell college students her message or even hand them her book will often hit a brick wall of "Nu-uhhh!!"
Has she ever done a video of herself debating college students? I think that would be really useful to have: the kids I know could see her actually addressing the very arguments and false beliefs they themselves have. It would be much harder to dismiss offhand when they see the actual back and forth in real time.

The discussion about Christian values and what the language surrounding it means is Crucial to navigating out if this mess. The word Christian itself has become a bigoted term because its definition is overly broad. It applies to too many things. Period. The woke have not only weaponized this but many are unaware of this problem of expression. It is bigotry via language. Yes. Some Christians perverted the religion ambitiously but that does not mean that all christians or christian values are bad. It is 100% true that the thinking within the framework of Christianity enabled enlightenment, science, and American liberal values.
The nuance that Xi brings with the idea of Cultural Christian is HUGE.

@@thurstonhowellthetwelf3220 Always been a passion, I'm only sorry Benjamin lets his content stray away into politics so often. The Dorking chicken is a special chicken with a rich history that is, unfortunately, currently considered endangered.
Dorkings is one of the oldest known chicken breeds, possibly dating to 43 AD, so, if the Dorking has been around for so long, why are they endangered? Moreover, the Dorking is a well-loved breed, but certain varieties are getting harder and harder to find.
We can probably attribute the scarcity to the commercialization of the poultry industry. Faster growing chickens became a priority over many other previously valued characteristics, like taste and temperament. The Dorking chicken was, and is, a highly sought-after chicken.
The chicken gained popularity when it was brought to England by the Romans. It is believed to have been love at first taste. Today, Dorkings can be purchased in small quantities from chicken hatcheries or breeders, but not all colors are available. This breed needs the support of backyard chicken breeders before they are gone for good.
...And here he is getting dragged off into politics!

    • @JesseP.Watson

@@thurstonhowellthetwelf3220 Ah well, the Dorking was, and is, a highly sought-after chicken, it's a breed which can be traced as far back as 43AD, believe it or not. Sadly, they are growing harder to find, hence me being so very pleased to see Benjamin giving us the opportunity to watch one here.
I only wish the video didn't go off on a tangent for the following hour or so and had stayed on topic there - I think I can speak for everyone in saying that we come here to watch the poultry, at the end of the day.

It occurs to me, how so much of the fighting is over language - we English-speakers have an advantage because there are so many synonyms in our language. There are so many different ways of saying the same thing. So when they make one word or phrase bad, move off of it and use different ones with the same message. Guerilla tactics, in a linguistic sense.
And, something I find works with leftists who still think woke is just academics, demand they define everything, and draw common ground between the definitions they then use. "Yes, I see what you mean where judging people based on skin color is wrong. But what does that mean for people of mixed race, who look white but come from families of slaves/who are poor?" Moving to "Oh, so if it's all in the skin color, what about the immigrant groups from Africa/South America who have that same color but are doing very well for themselves?"

Ohhh these pernicious ideologies that are so mysterious and effervescent that you can’t even elaborate on them. That’s scary it’s like you’re talking about ghosts or something. Simple fact is I don’t care if you call it woke or you call it what your ideological hero Gramsci called it ‘cultural hegemony’, people know it when they see it. And that’s your fault, you were heavy handed and incompetent with your propaganda so now people mock and reject it at the most surface levels. If the word woke had no power, no concrete meaning or definition, you wouldn’t be so apoplectic about people using it.
You really should re-read your Alinsky, “ridicule is man’s most potent weapon”. That’s why woke hurts you so much. Thats why the libel about “ pernicious ideologies” as if a word you admit yourself cannot be defined one sentence later is able to easily define the people who use it…
Academia is clearly prioritizing quantity over quality with the likes of you and your blue haired ilk. One Alinsky would be worth 1,000,000 of you lot.

It is ridiculous how many experienced leaders with proven track records have been fired or forced to retire early over some junior workers alleged experience of being offended by senior staff trying to make new hires produce meaningful work on the job. Unions used to help managers drive production standards but without a union to balance power, human resources is driving business and government out of service to Americans. DEI is a distraction. The situation is already pretty far gone. The power drive and drive to win, only v amplify a powerless and loser position for the majority, this thinking has infected churches and families with social media likes creating a meaningless score as another distraction. m
