      Thank you Stanley McMahan, I'm sure you will enjoy the radiator genie, keep me posted on how it performs for you. this was my first time using it and I'm anxious to see how it holds up to my neglect and abuse over a few months. if it survives I'll make a follow up video.

    I like the idea of yours being able to swap it onto a garden hose!
    We made a similar cleaner for a JD 4020 oilcooler radiator cleaning.
    We used soft copper tube and a flare fitting on a air gun like yours.
    The thing about air is you need to regulate Down the airpressure so you dont bend the radiator fins.
    With pressure regulated down the copper wont bend the way you dont want it to.
    Lightly crimp the tube end and drill a couple 3/32" holes in the side wall for a true 90° jetting action.

    • @daveknowshow
      @daveknowshow  5 років тому

      sounds like a solid idea on the 3/32 hole. I may try that on my old one. I do like this radiator Genie though and its a decent value for the price. it was pretty inexpensive for what it is.

    Dave, I really like your videos. We hope that you are in good health and enjoying the early fall. I have both field and forest acreage in the northern Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY. thank you, I actually did film the making of the grill brush guard however I got distracted with other stuff and seemed to have misplaced the video footage for the time being. I'm still searching for it and I'm sure its on one of my many external hard drives. if I can ever find it I will publish the video. it was a worthwhile mod for sure and has saved my front many times from damage. thanks for watching my video and leaving such a nice comment.

    Actually, you just need a larger tank on your air compressor. A 5 gallon would do nicely! Even a 2 gallon would likely work. Just hook up a 2 gallon air tank to your air hose, then hook up your air supply line to the 2 gallon tank.

    • @daveknowshow
      @daveknowshow  6 років тому +1

      yeah I miss my large compressor though this little 1.5 gallon sure could not deliver enough air. I do love this radiator genie though! I use it a lot!

    The pressure is the same, but the flow has increased. it is a nice unit, just needs a bigger volume air tank.

    • @daveknowshow
      @daveknowshow  5 років тому

    Ah, I see that your radiator screen comes out from the top. The screen on my L3301 comes out from either the left or right sides. I don't need to move the air cleaner to remove or install it, but I do need to lift the loader arms to slide it more than a few inches out.
    That Radiator Genie set looks like a great tool, after putting in the necessary Kubota bend!

    • @daveknowshow
      @daveknowshow  7 років тому

      for sure that bend makes all the difference in my opinion. yeah I can take mine out with out lifting the loader. this is how the older kubotas were made. not sure why they changed the design. maybe to save the filter hose from all the twisting that will eventually cause damage over time. not sure. man I like this genie tool. I used it again today! I will be happy when my big compressor is fixed. lol this little one is killing me! lol

    • @daveknowshow
      @daveknowshow  5 років тому +1

      it only holds so much and the rest stays in the reservoir. if it is loosing it for sure and you see no drips then its likely burning it through the exhaust port and that is not good. just hard to say for sure. is it smoking white? does the exhaust feel moist? water has to be going some where. can you smell it?

    hi dave. i think it was paul and kathy short that did a review on there channel he liked it. thought the air was a bit strong for older rads. i think paul bent his too. idk if your familiar with his channel, but hes a big kubota and mod fan your s looks good too but maybe yours is one of the osha approved. ppl like me wrecked it by using them as blow dart guns lol. don't you hate it when someone takes your idea and cashes in .lol im a bodyman and at the shop i worked at for 20 years that had millions of dollars collecting garbage good for them. in the shop we only had one spot welder stud gun it welds copper looking nails on dents and you had a slid hammer to pull the dent out. well one day i had a job i needed to get into primer and the spot stud gun slid hammer broke. so i took my regular slide hammer that had 1/2 18 threads and a old off brand of vice gripes and welded two nuts to the end of the bolt on the vice grips and screwed the slide hammer on. well a few years i see some one invented that same tool now they put the slide hammer closer to the jaws but same idea. hope all is well and your kicking cancer butt god bless and your still in my thoughts and prayers every night

    • @daveknowshow
      @daveknowshow  7 років тому +1

      thanks brother, no I dont watch paul and kathy's channel much. I spend to much time watching everyone else's channel. I think this company may have made theirs before I made mine. not sure. but I did invent a few tools that got stolen right off youtube for doing jewelry work. people dont have much respect for other peoples inventions. of course it didnt bother me if someone made the tool for personal use but these jokers were selling them online and advertising them right in the comment section of my videos. that really pissed me off! even a patent did not stop them. needless to say I stopped making jewelry tool videos and went on to tractor related videos. thanks for the prayers I need all I can get!
