I love You Can't Win especially the deep note he hits at the end. I also love Can't Get Outta The Rain that he does after the movie which is like a sequel to this song.
Yeah! I do to👍...that's how you can tell who could really sing....because holding notes and going high and low is hard to do, if you're not a good singer
This is my song!!!! I love this movie in general. My top favorite song, then it's ease on down the road, slide some oil to me, and no bad news❤️💕. R.I.P to my king MJ
Did you guys know that when "The Wiz" started in Broadway, at one of the first performances, they had Jack Haley, who played the Tin Man in the original movie in attendance. His Children had basically brought him there because he didn't really care all that much about this "new version" of the story. But much to his own surprise, he really enjoyed it, although he didn't get all the slang used. But there was an even bigger surprise waiting for him when the play was over, because a couple of eagle eyed cast members had recognized him. They told the crowd that the original Tin Man was there and Haley was brought on stage to a standing ovation.
I know I'm 3 years late to the party but you guys are killing me if you think that was the best song....OF THE WIZ😳 HELL NAWH.... I DARE YOU TO LISTEN TO LENA HORNE/ BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.....and NOT Think a bunch of pollen fell out of the sky 🥹🥹🥹🥲
In this song Michael Jackson is talking about something deep that he was involved in. When Michael says you can't win , you can't get out of the game , this means that you can't win against the wickedness that is going on in the music industry, he's also saying that you can't get out of that satanic industry once you sell your soul to the devil. So that's what Michael Jackson was really talking about. This is where Michael Jackson realized he was involved with the satanic movement in the music industry which his father Joe Jackson put him in when he was just a little child, joe Jackson sold little Mike over to this industry and look at what went on to happen to him in his life. And that's why Michael Jackson started going wayward with the satanic laws of the music industry because he wanted out of that satanic movement in the music industry but once you get in there's no way you are getting out. Because he was frustrated and that's when tragic things began to happen in his life leading on to his tragic death. And that's also the reason why he exposed all record labels and Sony and then called Tommy Mottola a devil. In this song Michael Jackson said" you can't break even" but in 2002 during his war with sony and Tommy Mottola he tried to leave that record label as a co -owner. Michael Jackson did all of this , he went all out to get the soul he never sold out by himself self, he never agreed to give up he believed he could get out of the Satanic movement in the music industry and that's he was attacking the music industry , fighting record labels, wickedness in the music industry , he risked his life to get his soul back and to open the eyes of many people who were blinded by the music industry because he really cared about this world. And at the end he got murdered because the music industry and the Freemasons and the Illuminati those who not only run the music industry but the whole world couldn't handle him for longer so they murdered him Courtesy of Sony and Tommy Mottola.
You’ve got a good grasp, but except for one thing. The whole thing is actually Michael singing what lucifer told him when he first sold his soul to the injury. Hence the “You can’t win child”

that's an awesome story!
Hands down that was the best song 100%
This song was about Michael Jackson’s struggles in the industry I believe
This is what musicals are lacking lately; truly good songs. This movie is timeless!
That's why they turned the media against him and did all those false allegations against him because they were trying to ruined him, bring him down.
