    My skin cleared up after I stopped eating peanuts this year. I was so happy. Then after a few months I decided I liked to eat some peanutsauce at a party. After a week my skin started to itch and then having new patches of psoriasis. Now I understand that I will have to go through another month of itch before it will clear up again. I'm glad to know now.
    I'll definitely need to watch this episode again and get it all well into my head.

      That's interesting. Vi have become addicted to peanut butter sandwiches. They are all I eat. One for breakfast, one for lunch and want for tea. Since becoming addicted my I have developed eczema and some nasty fungal like thing on my feet which I have been treating a year.
      Obviously I have to stop

      @@stunnedmulletblah9714 I'm glad now you know where it comes from. In the beginning it's hard to leave it. Now I appreciate eating almondbutter on a slice of bread. But make sure you don't overdo it on one type of nut. You don't want your body to start reacting on that as well.

      @@tadsithole2106 I’m doing it right now. I only started again yesterday because I relapsed on wheat and refined sugars but I’m on day 2 of avoiding the 5 things mentioned in the video: peanut butter, refined sugars, dairy, wheat, and oats. And I’ve also been healing my skin with ice like she recommended. The ice has been so helpful. There used to be no way to avoid the itch so I had to scratch or run with a towel or something which would cause skin damage but since a few days ago I have been avoiding all scratching and rubbing by just using an ice pack. I filled a bag with ice cubes and put it on the skin where it itches and is inflamed and it will kill the itch and make the inflammation go down just like she said. The ice is really saving my skin! You should try it

    My 13yo girl fights eczema when there is a drastic change in temp from cold to hot. We live in Canada, if we take a vacation to Florida during our winter she gets it so bad, arms and legs swell and she can’t bend at the joints. Sometimes we go from winter right into hot summer temps and the same happens. If it’s a gradual change, easing into summer, the few patches she may get are easily managed. My biggest challenge is the diet, you’ve given great choices in this video, thank you!! God bless you, Barbara❤

    I love Barbara's presentations. They are always so well structured, easy to follow, full of personal stories and testimonies. I've been trying to get rid of psoriasis for about 12 years now. That's 12 years after gaining knowledge of what I must do. Giving up on sugar is the hardest one for me. I tried countless no sugar months, raw vegan diet, Pagano diet 3 month candida cleanse, which was a very strict protocol with all anti-candida herbs and the result was close to perfection, until I slipped back into eating sugar around holidays. I really need to make this diet/protocol a part of my lifestyle, if I want to get this psoriasis under control once and for all!

    So very grateful for Barbara and for this video. She has helped so many including me. There are practical and easy to follow natural alternatives to traditional western medicine that not only work but do not harm our bodies (or minds). We simply have to be determined and make the effort for ourselves (and sometimes others). Taking a pill may seem like the easiest thing to do and I'm not suggesting that all pills are bad. But in general there is something wholesome and natural that the pharmaceutical version synthesized. If we take the time to study and apply what we learn we can regain our health. It took time to get a disease or disorder so it may take time to reverse the situation. Yes, I know there are disorders that children are born with or that kids or adults can have as a result of genetic predispositions for example that they have no control over or responsibility for. Many environmental factors may be out of a person's control. With all that said there are lots of things we can do to help ourselves and others in many circumstances that not only do no harm but play a part in the health of the entire body. I believe that Barbara has contributed to the health of countless people through her teachings and I am grateful for her gift.

      when I was a little girl I had eczema so terribly bad on my feet that they both oozed and swelled to twice their size. Through years of suffering I was taken to doctors that prescribed various things from cortisone cream to soaking my feet in boric acid & water mixture and tested me for allergies with patches on my back. Turns out I was highly allergic to rubber cement which is used in shoes for adhesive. Unfortunately it is or was in all shoes. Doctor had me wear cotton socks and leather sandals - even to school (which was embarrassing but necessary). I had awful unrelenting itching and unbearable pain for a very long time. I'm sharing this with you because I believe after many years of reflection on the diet I was raised on (not blaming my parents they simply didn't know much ; it was the culture of the time ) was comprised mainly of processed foods, lots of white refined flour, sugar, etc....what did I know as a child? Only later in my teens and 20s did I go on a quest to learn about nutrition and natural things. My mother died when I was 3 of lymphoma and my best friend in high school had stage 4 cancer almost like my mother. So I had a drive to learn. I came to believe (and still do) that my body reacted to the rubber cement because my body was already immune compromised. If our children are having issues we have to look at everything that is contributing. This can be a frustrating process. It could be just one thing or it could be a combination of things. Barbara is very good at a balanced approach. I so wish I had her wisdom in my younger years. Be encouraged, keep searching for the good information and guidance. You will find your answers. It could be as simple as a soap or lotion or something your 2 year old is eating or exposed to. Don't give up. I pray your 2 year old gets better!

    I currently have fleas in my house. I was watching a video from Barbara O'Neill where she was talking about ice on bites. I have literally 10 to 20 bites on each of my feet and ankles. It's like crazy. I've been keeping a bucket in my shower. I fill it up with water till about the middle of my calf. Then when the itching starts, I put a bunch of ice inside the bucket. I dipped my feet into the bucket for about 30 seconds to one minute. I take them out for about a minute. Then I put them in the bucket again for about 30 seconds to a minute. When I take my feet out they feel very comfortable and warm. The itching doesn't always subside right away. But within a few minutes that itching will be subdued for many hours. I have been doing this nightly since the flea problem has started

    • @qhazwel
      @qhazwel Рік тому +2

      As a side note: the water does not even have to be fully ice; just as long as it's a little colder than room temperature. I investigated this and it works great on the flea bites. That way you don't have to waste your ice

      Salt. Lay down salt at night. The get it in and they dehydrate. Put a light on the floor salt around light. They’ll be drawn to the light.
      Food grade diatomaceous earth can be used on animal and definitely dehydrates fleas and other types of bugs.

      Remove dairy from your diet. I had an old European woman tell me this in my early 20’s. I thought it was ridiculous because I had been to a dermatologist and never heard to remove dairy….plus I loved milk and cheese and yogurt. I thought I could never not have dairy. Fast forward to my early 30’s still with acne. I thought I would give the no dairy thing a try. What do you know, sure enough my skin cleared up!
      Don’t wait. Just try it. Just cut dairy out for a couple weeks and see what happens!

      Read the book what your doctor may not tell you about menopause. Ignore The word menopause. Book is named stupidly because it’s all about hormones. It’s not just about people going through menopause and he talks about women not being able to get pregnant or carry to term in this book so if someone who knows suffering from the inability to get pregnant you’re gonna want to read this book.

    Hello. We have 2 daughters aged 6 and 4 who have atopic eczema, it's very difficult and they often get infected with swine pox inside the eczema so they have to go on antibiotic courses. The 4-year-old will now receive her fifth course of antibiotics. the doctors do nothing. We have tried most things, but the diet is difficult as they get food at preschool and they get what they get. Is this video helpful for atopic exema also ?
