GridTracker should use the PC's default sound card and have nothing to do with the radio. WSJX-X on the other hand should be set to a dedicated sound card for the radio only (a second sound card, a USB sound card or a radio's internal sound card).

Before using this GridTracker I was uploading my logs to the various sites manually.
GridTracker automates this process (start at 20:42).
Selecting the "Log?" for each online logger you wish to use will attempt to upload each contact in real time.
QRZ, ClubLog & LoTW are the only 3 that GridTracker can use to access confirmed contacts. Either at Startup or by clicking the icons at the bottom of the menu (Startup and Menu need to be selected).
The WSJT-X "wsjtx_log.adi" file can be found by typing "%appdata%\..\Local\WSJT-X" into your file browser (a shortcut is available on my Discord Server).

Thank you for you coverage of gridtracker. It is the most detailed I've been able to find. I've been using it for about 40 days and really need your more detailed explination. I have one big problem, my monitor is 1320 x760. The program doesn't scale correctly and cuts off the bottom of the control panel. I can't see the the columns where logs, grids and 🚩 flag is. Any ideas how to get it to resize? The computer I use will do high def and on an hd monitor I get the full Gridtracker screen. I've been through all Windows 10 settings and drivers including scaling. Other programs automatically scale but not Gridtracker. Any ideas?
Hmm. My monitor does 1600x900 so I haven't tried lower resolutions. The only thing I can think of would be using the maximise button at the top right corner. Failing that you could search on discord for GridTracker as the developers have developers do keep a Server on there for support.

Can you please explain how you are using CAT connection for both: FLrig and wsjt-x ? flrig dosnt support omnirig - must occupate the com port so how is it possible ? :) thnx in advance
FLrig is setup in WSJT-X as the radio (WSJT-X does not cover my radio). Thus the CAT commands are sent from WSJT-X to FLrig (in software) and then forwarded to to radio from there.

when I hit monitor, I don't get any stations. at least your video started with that. Now I need to know why its not working.
The monitor must be green to show active also look at you waterfall to see if there is activity on the band.

Just noticed that your power slide is at the top that's well over 10wats what radio are you using m8
Although the slider is in the top position it does not directly control the power on my G90 I manually set that between 5 and 10 wats. Although the G90 is capable of 20 wats my licence only allows me a maximum of 10 wats.
The PWR slider only affects the volume of the audio to be used with my setup. So while it can effectively reduce the power of the signal on SSB it does not increase it. Because it is only the audio that is being affected some people can get a clearer signal by setting this level at 80% to reduce any distortion that can be introduced by poor quality sound cards.
@@A.R.O.T.A. My Icom -7300 is set at 10w and slider is not even half way up I control mine by radio or computer . im after a G90 for my 2nd computer are they good radios.

@@stevenbale8636 While me experience with other radios is very limited, I have only used the UbitX and the G90 on HF. I can not foresee a time when I would ever let my G90 go. It is a great radio especially for the price. But it is limited to 20 wats max output without an amp and covers 160m - 10m.
Hi john how do I get my eqsl's in to award Tracker which i have many . I have only my qrz in there
The program can only upload contacts to eQSL. For that all you have to do is enter your logon details under the logging tab and highlight the "Log?" option.
Currently GridTracker does not track eQSL awards or download logs from eQSL.

can only get male voice on gridTracker even if I change to female please
I have mine set in "settings"-"audio" to the following "Text-to-speech Voice"="MicrosoftGeorge-English(UnitedKingdom)" and "Speech Rate"+"Speech Pitch"+"Speech volume" all = 1 and Phonetics turned on that gives me a fairly good computerised female voice.

Hi John, how do you get your eqsl cards into GT. If you can do a video that be great Steve
Go to settings and select "eQSL,cc" then enter your login details for eQSL (QTH Nickname if used). Then simply click "Test". If it responds with "Passed" then every QSO you log will automatically be uploaded. Please note that the logging for this is not !00% and you are best uploading the "wsjtx_log.adi" file on a regular basis anyway.
@@A.R.O.T.A. Hi John, I found that out so i waiting to see if that works. I have a years worth of eqsl's to get into GT thats what I am struggling with. I have edif file from eqsl I wanted to try and load it. Having no luck so far.
If you're trying to import your old log files from eQSL. You can download this via the eQSL website and store it on your local pc. Then go to "settings" & "logging" select "Local File(s)"/"Startup?" Then "Add File" locate & select the file stored on your pc and it will load this file each time you start the program and mark up the map as unverified contacts only (yellow). Verification is only accepted from QRZ.com, ClubLog & LoTW.
If you're after downloading all the eQSL card graphics in one go GridTracker will not do this and the programs that will are kept quiet in order to stop too many people trying to download massive amounts from the server in one go. As this could cause the server to crash.
