I'm really sorry for not uploading anything for nearly 10 days. Right now I am playing Bloodstained while recording boss fights at the same time (the boss run will eventually appear on Shadowserg's channel). So it takes most of my gaming hours right now. Once again - sorry, but the uploads will be less frequent for some time.
As for today's video... A playthrough of Master System version of Ninja Gaiden. I really don't have much to say about this game. I don't like it. Ninja Gaiden for NES was really hard but it was fun. This one just can't decide between being annoying or disgustingly cheap (stage 6). Shame, but there are some interesting ideas like wall jumping. Also there is a great final boss and some good music as well. But that doesn't really redeem this game for me. I can understand people liking it but I did not enjoy it much.
Also there seems to be a glitch: if your counter for subweapons reaches 999 it stops decreasing after that. Maybe it is just a bad rom dump, or maybe an emulator glitch. Anyways, it is there and I abused it on stage 6. I don't think that I would spend all of it if it actually decreased. At most - I used just a little more than 999 but I can't be sure. Well, that's all. I hope you like this video.

This game brings back so many memories of my childhood!! I don’t think I ever completed Ninja Gaiden as I found it quite hard at the age of 8 to 15. I’m 33 now and can’t believe I’ve just seen how the ending is! Watching through #COVID-19 and boy has this lockdown got me looking into a lot of things from my childhood days. Time has gone so fast! So many flashbacks and child memories of the 1990’s

Me and my friends used to play this, we had to laugh at one of them asking what button does what? We just laughed and said there's only two buttons so don't worry about it! We used to have a life each we were pissed off when we got killed on the last boss. I used to play it for ages I never completed it. Same with master of darkness another great master system game!
One of my first games on the master system. At the end I could beat it with just sword, not using N powers or the thunderbolt.

Man, there are some crazy Ninja Gaiden hacks out there. Like the from hell one...argh.
There was a bug in european version, that if you got 999 to N, you could use inifinite special.
