Hello everyone! A new boss run from me. It may be a little short but the game is REALLY good. This is a reimagining of first Ninja Gaiden game. Story stays the same, controls are identical to original (to the point that down+slash glitch is replicated too) but level layot and enemy behavior is differect. Even more: all of the bosses have new patterns and attacks. Some do not differ too much from NES game but a few of them are completely different fights. Overall, this game is easier since none of killed enemies respawn but it is really fun to play. I recommend to download and try it. It is the best Ninja Gaiden fangame that I know. Thank you for watching, I hope you like this video.
Id love to get my hands on this game as i cant seem to find it anywhere, i played this on the original hardware and beat it long ago, so id love maybe some idea to know where to look for it!
thanks for playing my fangame! i'm very glad you liked it. would you please put a download link in the description or comments? my attempts to reply with one seem to be getting filtered for spam
Funny to see that most of the bosses got upgrated to become harder...but Jaquio instead end ups turning easier...not a complain, the original Jaquio boss fight was really tedious and kind of unfair.
Le dices injusta por el hecho de que si morias en esa batalla, no tenias checkpoint. Eso y los inputs medios tardios eran lo tedioso del juego y mas con jaquio
@@MiniMacroSound Although I'm a little bummed out tht you don't need to attack the floating head. But don't get me wrong I really like the effects. BTW, the ost slaps. Any way I can listen to it?
@@MiniMacroSound I know I was wondering with the Jaki-Ou fight if the pixelization was to represent him somehow not being a "real" body (as opposed to the Jashin). Is the Jashin's head supposed to be attempting to attack Ryu's mind?
Wow. I never heard of this version of Ninja Gaiden until now. And I'm surprised to see how differently the enemies are programmed in this game with the changes that were added.
amazing gaming skill. amazing remake. i used to go to my friend's house to play this on Sundays. The game is so hard but also so fun, we both play this game for hours, we even forgot lunch, we play in turns once one of us died. in the end we cant even defeat it lol. i remember i bring my walkman to record the songs of this game.
Thank you @shadowserg for the video. @ArekTheDragon, as always superb gameplay I never knew about the existence of this version of ninja gaiden it looks phenomenal. Arek you made the bosses look so easy but it for me this is going to take a lot and I mean a lot of practice. How was the experience to you was it difficult? Agian thank you so much for this video and sharing your skills with us. Keep on gaming.
Not a really hard game. The bosses can take some time but once you understand their patterns they are not too difficult. Downslash spamming is useless, though: every boss now has short invincibility time after being hit.
From what I've searched, it seems this fan-remake is called Ninja Gaiden Master Edition and it seems that unfortunately the website where you could buy this fangame is down, which is a shame.
nope, this is one i made that you can download for free on the itch page linked in my youtube channel. in fact one of the reasons i made this because i was annoyed at ninja gaiden master edition, both because it looks and plays badly, and because it's being sold for money (which is illegal for fangames to do and in my opinion unethical)
The boards look to big and not filled in enough, the bosses look to cleanly made, they had a better presence in the orginal...i do like how more challenging the bosses are, in the original all they did was just stand there...do nothing and take hits...the original manuel explained each boss as if they are the hardest in the world to beat.
the screens being too big is a fair complaint, i realized too late in development that 400 x 240 pixels is way too large of a resolution to work with without things feeling empty

Of course. I will ask Shadowserg to put the link in description. My replies seem to be filtered too.

Boss list:
00:00 01 Barbarian
00:30 02 Bomberhead
01:34 03 Basaquer
02:18 04 Kelbeross
03:09 05 Bloody Malth
04:12 Final Boss - Masked Devil, Jaquio, Jashin
08:31 Ending
One of the remakes that still retains the charm of the original.
I played "Ninja Ryukenden" on the NES console for hours & hours as a kid back in the 1980s!
Funny to see that most of the bosses got upgrated to become harder...but Jaquio instead end ups turning easier...not a complain, the original Jaquio boss fight was really tedious and kind of unfair.
since you're coming off the back of one fight and going into another fight, he does not need need to be nearly as hard as he is in the original

I'm honestly impressed with the floating head phase of the final boss and making it feel intentionally glitchy.
thanks! i put a ton of work into making it look "glitchy" instead of just "broken" if that makes any sense
@@MiniMacroSound cool, nice work.

Just seeing you beat these bosses just brings back all those memories. I actually found the NES cartridge in pawn shop and bought it up.
I was having blast on speedrunning this back then

it was much easier to just kinda guess at how the enemy ai works in the original, instead of recreating it exactly
@@MiniMacroSound Still though, this is pretty creative. And I have to give credit where its due.

This remake looks good👍
That Jashin... holy moly.
BARBARIAN
BOMBERHEAD
BASAQUER
KELBEROSS
BLOODY MATH
MASKED DEVIL
JAQUIO
JASHIN, Final Boss, JASHIN (Ture) Final Boss 2
Ending
06:30 Jashin-chan got buffed
This remake looks nice and not as punishing as the original, perhaps I should give it a shot
Yeah, the world ending Demon-chan has never looked better. He’s even more endearing than the first time I put him to the sword.
Mash mash mash!!! Swag star

Why skip all the cutscenes?
Please tell me this is for Android... I wanna play it NOW!!!
it is unfortunately only for windows, as i don't have the proper licensure to build games for android

it's a pc remake and it looks inferior to the nes :(
Modern attempts to replicate an older aesthetic these days tend to fall flat more often than not, I have noticed.
Muy superior a NES
Inferior a NES...que stupido, so stupid🤣🤣
