  • BMW returns to cruiser segment in a big style and proves that it is even in 2020 and beyond come with fair iron-made motorcycle despite the trends and Euro emissions laws. BMW R18, 1802 cc engine almost one meter width. 345 Kg, extreme attention to details, built on old school principles but with the all modern goodies. Beautiful!

Truly an object of beauty. Thinking about selling a kidney........

It looks like they got the styling right, and I'm sure an 1800 cc engine will make a bucket load of torque.
I think the giant Fishtail mufflers are a bit much, and you look a bit short on legroom - often a problem on bikes with low seat heights.

Nice video. Beautiful bike, and if money was no object I'd buy one. In truth, most of us have a limited budget for what is, really, a toy. I love to see these sort of bikes but, unless I get a lottery win, it's not going to happen.

So sad that engineering of this beauty will soon be replaced by an electric motor and battery. I hope that open shaft doesn't grab my trousers or boot laces, at least I will be the first to know if it does!

Pretty cool video. The first one that shows the vibration and the movement of the engine with bike stopped. 👏

Why is that bike shaking on idle???
And why handlebars are so tiny compared to forks and the rest of the bike?

Because it's a huge OHV Boxer engine, so thats's why it's shaking so much. Similar shaking you can observe with Moto Guzzi V engine, but it's not so obvious like with that BMW one.

Wywalone na bok cylindry szpecą ładną całość i raczej stwarzają zagrożenie, lub dyskomfort w ostrzejszych zakrętach.
W sytuacji awaryjnej nachylenia pewnie ślizg i gleba w pobocze i drzewka.

An absolute pile of shite for dreamers with more money than any serious enthusiasm for motorcycling
