I guess there was some compromise though, with Fox 🦊 keeping quicksilver and Marvel/Disney 🐁 keeping Scarlet Witch for the movies. That's probably why quicksilver was killed immediately in the MCU and a version of Scarlet Witch killed in X-men apocalypse.

They did it to a world that has always persecuted them so even if peace was forced, mutants have always gotten the shit end of the stick throughout history. No one ever helps the mutants.

But EVERYONE FORGETS that the latest involvement with the Phoenix is of Rachel Summers saving the world and protecting it while fused with the Phoenix. Dark Phoenix was only a thing because of the mental manipulation of Jean Grey by Mastermind. The world only exists because The Phoenix has saved it a few times within Rachel...
Also Cyclops was right, The Phoenix's power came for Hope and brought back the Mutants. If no one did absolutely anything Hope would become White Phoenix saving and solving every issue that plagued Earth at the time.

I know Wanda isn’t the most powerful but people really do underestimate her abilities I’m pretty sure her powers are limitless meaning who knows how far she can really go but I do not over using I’m pretty sure that’s a problem for her

There are a few things people don't know. The Wanda that we see in this comic has nothing to do with the Wanda of House of M. The Wanda of House of M is a cosmic entity whose powers come from the gods Chton and her powers of reality come from Life Force (a cosmic entity similar to the Phoenix Force) but in this comic she had lost it and no longer had her reality powers. If she had the Life Force she would have had no problem defeating Scott Dark Phoenix.
The life force isn’t wandas power and once u use it it can’t be used again

I’ve always been a huge Wanda fan since the bronze comics age. But don’t get this mixed up with the Pheonix force now.. that’s a different entity. Wanda vs the P5 yeah sure. But Wanda stands no chance before the Phoenix force itself (of course before it’s raw power became diluted by entering hosts). Scarlett witch is not a goddess which I think is confusing a lot of ppl here, she’s a sorceress. Big dif. Phoenix however, is a deity (cosmic entity) and can create and destroy realities and lives in a single thought.
I am a big fan of Wanda and I think this is true. its weird that they are comparing a mutant to a freaking Phoenix force. Even if there is a chance that Wanda can defeat it, it will still bring back to life so its impossible to be defeated by anyone... I can say that Wanda is one(or THE😉) most powerful mutant/avenger...

Phoenix has a preference to Telepaths cause its about psionic energy she could be the host, but wouldnt be as powerfull as Jean
Phoenix Force is Empath, Telepath and Telekinetic. The Perfect Host is Jean Grey, she has this abilities while Wanda doesn't and that's why she can't be perfect host and also she wields the Chaos Magic (the weakness of Phoenix) so no. Phoenix wouldn't pick her obviously.

I'm honestly just glad Wanda and the rest of the mutants at Krakoa has buried the hatchet and that she, Quicksilver, Magneto, and Polaris are family again (despite still not being blood related, again- ugh come on, Marvel).
And while I liked the hero vs hero aspect in AvX, I also kinda hated it just because of how it portrayed some of the characters, especially the X-men. Also, I love Magik as a character, but for some reason she annoyed me in AvX. Actually, the Phoenix Five annoyed me in AvX. Cool outfits though, wish they kept it, especially Magik's outfit.

phoenix five as a concept was always a bad idea......but then again bendis had a hand in this so ofc it makes sense. this event got so much of the phoenix lore wrong its embarrassing now Jason Aaron is trying to one up bendis in terribleness....
Not only that but Bendis also gave us avengers dissasembled, which completely assasinated Wanda as a character and so every other writers after that has to try and get her writing quality good after that catastrophe.

This storyline was such a waste. Both teams had good reasons for there respective stands on the issue of the Phoenix then the X- men went crazy, the Phoenix was reconned so anybody not just a psionic individuals could possessed, then for apparent shock value heroes who should have wrecked others somehow lose fights because the writer wanted them to. Again a story that started out great flushed down the toilet like a turd. Thanks again Marvel.

It Had Its Highlights But It Ended Up Being So Lack Luster And Poorly Written And Developed Towards The End!! With her Chaos magic she's more powerful than the vast majority of gods, she's essentially a high level god without being one. She completely destroyed Mr. Fantastic like cannon fodder, she deafeated Black Bolt like he was nothing, Captain "Cater" America with ease, and Captain Marvel who's powered by an infinfty stone with little difficulty, Professor X the most powerful telepath on the planet, she beat and killed him like he was a rank amateur. Was beating Dr. Strange who was a nearly a match against Thanos with 4 infinfty stones. Shall I go on? Franklin Richards or the Marquis of Death with be the only ones I'd say that would defeat Wanda. She was single-handedly beating Thanos with just her telekinesis. She's a mortal with powers overtaking many beings of a cosmic order, I'd say she'd be able to beat a celestial with minimal difficulty.
