Juggernaut is an actual matchup for Hulk he is on par with his level of physicality from Strength, Durability to Stamina and Endurance. Not a lot of people want to admit it even if you don’t want to say Juggernaut is stronger they’re equals in those areas.

Not always, they got lucky. I could easily see hulk taking the comparison as them trivializing the loss of entire world or just not caring because they're between him and his enemy. Why should he care about the prior suffering of those he wants to reap his vengeance upon?
This Hulk was the most powerful they had ever seen. The Sentry wanted someone to fight and was enjoying the fight.
Plot armor does a lot things. Truthfully hulk should not be able to get past any of the x men who are telepathic, but marvel just kept doing more ridiculous crap with him as the years went by, I mean they gave him a healing factor like Deadpool. Why does hulk need a healing factor when his strength and durability keeps rising with anger.

Well hulk's mass is technically not some crazy hardness that needs a "strong enough" material to pierce him. It is about the material being strong enough to handle the effort needed, to push against his growth and healing factor. In a way, those factors are "pushing" back against any blades, with kinetic force, and that is why vibranium wins over adamantium. It is just absorbing that "pushback", meaning it takes LESS effort or force to pierce his flesh, than other materials. Hot blades wouldn't actually be an asset vs hulk, because it is clear he heals/regenerates faster than cauterization can happen, and a hot blade only goes through flesh like butter, if the tissue is being pulled in different directions or is under tension. you could have the sharpest red hot butter knife in the world, it's still not cutting through a ribeye better than an actual serrated steak knife.

@CryptolockerMD Actually, Hulk DOES have crazy hardness. At over 500 Kg (over 1000 lbs for you Americans) at 275 CM (7'6"), THAT'S A LOT OF MASS. Then add to that his gamma irradiation and the tensile strength of his muscles and most impacts and energies won't even scratch his skin. Then as he gets angrier and his strength grows, so does his durability (which Wolverine referenced in this issue) he's not just super indestructible, he continues to get even more so.
Now, while Wolverine has a low level of enhanced strength, enough to lift a bear and trow it several feet, Warpath's strength is far greater, at least over 25 tons of lifting strength and likely closer to 50. And vibranium is the next best thing compared to admantium for rigidity and invulnerability, it also absorbs energy. That part plays no part in this fight really, but kitianarmada8487 is correct in his assessment.

well yeah but no. Darwins powers weren’t wrong but his powers don’t adapt to *BEAT* opponents they adapt so that darwin himself can *SURVIVE* whatever he needs to. So a being with kinetic and gamma absorption would still be a great counter to the hulk.
The entire purpose of the story is to be a power fantasy for Hulk fans. I wouldn't expect any sort of S tier writing. People only like the story because they like seeing Hulk beat the shit out of everybody.

Gotta understand, at this point in World War Hulk, he had been on the news with the dead body of black bolt, he had already attacked and beaten I believe one other member of the illuminati then turn his focus on Xavier, the X-Men are very protective of prof X and did what came naturally. Defend both Xavior, AND their home. Could this have been settled with words sooner? Yeah, but perhaps their unrelenting way of defending Xavior then showing Hulk WHY they fight was needed.
He said he wanted him to suffer and only stopped because he saw the Xavier was suffering. Meaning he was fully ready to kill or severly harm the professor

In the previous episode, Hulk asked Xavier what his decision would have been when the Illuminati were discussing what to do with Hulk. Xavier gave Hulk an honest answer and Hulk threatened him, despite the fact that Charles hadn't actually done anything to him. Xavier offered his surrender, but his students tried to defend him anyway. Fighting the Hulk is practically suicide and talking things out was the right thing to do all along, but twelve pages of the X-men and Hulk talking through their feelings wouldn't have sold many books, unfortunately. The point being, the Hulk was the only one being unreasonable in this scenario.

@Kurakumakachilibaba In the literal comic, Xavier tries to mentally prevent everybody from fighting the Hulk but Emma Stone blocks him out entirely and continues blocking him out even after her technical defeat. Meaning he was forced to watch everyone fight regardless of whether he wanted it or not.
He never instigated anything nor did he just let it all happen. He was forced into watching the fight happen because his only method of helping was shut down.
Juggernaut can stop running 🤦 but once "moving" nothing can stop him. This fight was bullshit.

The only time Hulk stopped him was when Apocalypse augmented him with Celestial technology; and it’s arguable whether that should have really worked, but Bob Harras was a crap writer (I think he wrote that one, IIRC).
Even after this, Bruce tells his son Skaar that the Juggernaut can’t be beaten physically.
@@Pogol13 the tech said it did nothing to him physically. It removed the restrain off banner and the ghosts of Brian banner that at the time where haunting him. So hulk was able to do that with his own capabilities. We saw him just rip it all out like nothing in the end

My only problem with this part of World War Hulk is...well, he's using the same logic AS the Illuminati here. He's going after those who MIGHT have hurt him. They didn't, by his own admission, Charlie was busy with his own problems at the time, so he didn't in any way to something to the Hulk, so going after him like this dilutes what makes him great in this story, that he's justified in his hatred of them. No matter if the bomb was their fault or not, they sent him away to suffer, and now he's revisiting that on them.
The fact is Charles is less guilty, but still guilty

I genuinely think it’s fucking stupid every time any writer makes juggernaut lose to hulk.
Juggernaut’s powers literally grant him infinitely growing strength(his power basically work as he doesn’t technically have infinite strength, but he instantly gets strong as soon as he encounters something he isn’t already strong enough to over power.(hints why hes unstoppable when charging, his strength always increases to counteract any force resisting against him) and makes him COMPLETELY immune to physical damage. This is a result of being the avatar of the literal god of physicality, who’s physical abilities are boundless.
It conceptually makes zero sense for him to ever lose to someone like hulk, but you know, writers do be writing. It’s stuff like this that kinda ruins comics for me now, the insane inconsistencies between writers, and them constantly trying to one up each other.
I mean in immortal hulk we find out that hulks strength is somewhat tied to the one above all as hulks power is gods rage on earth.

I have the comic book; Hulk actually is intelligent as World War Hulk and used techniques like momentum against Juggeenanunt (it’s like maybe a Judo or self defense tactic; after all Hulk gained gladiator fighting skills in the previous earlier part of this series. I think earlier comics Hulk learned martial arts as well. Hulk is more than just brute strength, WWH / WB uses all of his wisdom and power.
In comics after this we learned that WWH also was holding back.

I’m not saying they could beat WWH but they could certainly block or contain him for a period of time.
Watching this just makes me want a Doomsday vs Hulk story even more! Due to his physiology gamma radiation also powers up Doomsday AND his ability to mutate would make some form of damage absorption manifest… So many cool possibilities! Maybe even a fight that lasts til the end of time effectively removing them both as threats 😂
Nightcrawler could have transported Prof X to Cerebro to use to enhance his powers exponentially and shut Hulk’s brain down. But he thought he could talk sense into the Hulk. Stupid how the writers think they can just bend Collosus and take him out. His noble spirit is just as strong as the Hulk’s hate and protecting his friends knows no boundaries. Why didn’t he do that to juggernaut? That crystal makes him indestructible. Just because you are the strongest doesn’t mean you can beat everyone.

I got this: Vibranimum is the strongest and most flexible natural metal. Adamantimum is stronger, but way less flexible and it is a human creation. It is a experiment to recreate Adamantine, which is a metal created by (I think) the Greek Gods in Marvel to be the ultimate material wieldable by mortals.

One drone could have prevented this. One person from LE asking what was in his backpack could have stopped this from happening It gets worse every minute
adamentium is stronger the vibranium. wolverine has the strength of a polar bear and warpath in the 20 ton range so basically more then. ten times the strength. it is like the difference between using a gun vs the hulk throwing a marble a bullet is more durable then a marble and a gun would normally do much more damage but the strength difference makes up for the difference in material.
People would like to compare to Unobtanium but they've been unable to obtain it.

Honestly, it kind of surprised me that Hulk took that stance when I first read it. I fully expected Cessily's rant see him decide to wipe out the X-men while leaving Xavier untouched, to make him truly experience what Hulk had by being the last survivor knowing he was the cause.

WWH wasn't even trying against Juggs in that standstill... he was just holding Juggs at bay... their previous matches have been not as one sided compared to what is stated in the comic book...
Vehemence (Grrlpower) vs Hulk might be interesting... He powers up with negative emotions mainly anger. Get angry? Gives him power. Fight others? Gives him power. Punch him? Gives him power. Knock others out of the fight nearby thats powering him? He uses a wide-spread aura that wakes them up from industrial strength tranqs and brings em back into the fight annd makes them go berserk so even if they arent fighters, they start fighting anyways. Maxima carries a handgun that is single shot (bigger than a .50) and shoots him in the nuts with it. He also loses an eye to a .50 sniper and a limb to a blade, but uses the energy to grow them back. He is resistant to electrocution and can burn energy so he doesn't need to breathe. Which is renewed faster than he drains it because of the aggression. He kinda looks like avatar Ang crossed with Juggernaut, or the guy absorbing kinetic energy.

I think the differences between vibranium and adamantium are vibranium is sharper and makes better weapons while adamantium is lighter and more durable. Which is why wolverine has an adamantium skeleton and not a vibranium one because he would be super slow and would sink like a rock if thrown into water.

I kept thinking going for the NUTS would immediately SUBDUE THE HULK. BUT ITS OBVIOUS he has some protection. But even if the opponents were successful making contact with THE NUTS....HE WILL GET REALLY REALLY MAD. BUT at the same time, NO MAN can IMMEDIATELY recover with a Direct blow to the NUTS. No matter how ANGRY they get.

The mutant with the vibranium knives is called Warpath and he's basically Juggernaut jr. in terms of his powerset. That's how the knives went in so easy.

I mean I know it was the illuminate's fault for sending hulk away without asking him if he wants to find a planet to find peace. Also, Hulk didn't know what blow up in the first place. So, the entire story was misunderstood for the Hulk. I'll forgive Hulk and Bruce for all of this because it could happen to any characters.

Juggernaut, at best, STALEMATED the Hulk. Hulk clearly stated he didn't have all day. Meaning he still can eventually beat him, but it would take a long time and it's far easier to just use Juggernaut's inertia powers against him.
You can't beat the Juggernaut in a traditional sense, he's literally unstoppable. But you can get rid of him

Adamantium vs. Vibranium. So when Marvel licenced off the x-men including Wolverine to Fox(?) he took all rights to Adamantium with him. This left the MCU to invent a new super metal or promote Vibranium, and at this point we all know what happened.
