Nick is back. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I am soooooo happy. I have watched all your older videos many times as I love the way you teach. LOVED you on project runway years ago, and was cheering for you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
My friend this video is truly a blessing and right on time! I am making clothes for my wife but not happy with the way the skirts are coming out…now I understand my issue primarily…BALANCE! Today I’m going to use this process to make her an A-line skirt with the goal of overcoming the fear I have been facing…
Wow, this is perfect timing!! I am ready to make a skirt to update my wardrobe for church (the same white skirt for 10 years is a little old... okay a lotta old) and this is perfect for that!! THANK YOU NICK!!
Wow. I loved this video. Entertaining and chockful of information. Thank you so much. This was an education in the best way. I am a newish sewist and this has me feeling confident that I should try. I will definitely attempt this. Hi to you from Kingston, Jamaica. 🙂
Just about to start a pattern making course and watching your videos is setting me up to make the very most of the teachers knowledge as you give such clear demonstrations and explanations! Great designer and a Great instructor!!!!!!
I loved this class, Nick. Your presentations are always very interesting, helpful and absolutely perfect. I was born in SoCal, miss the beach so much. Hope you get to go there often and enjoy.
Marvelous!!!, next , How to draw the “ Waist band”. ( Does it include the zipper top, button and button hole or hook ‘n eye ; or is it an elastic band?) 👍👍 ✨ Thank you, Nick. I appreciate your “Tips and Tricks”, they are so helpful to know. 28:12
YES!! I made my very long legged (all the bottoms in the stores make her look like a hillbilly hooker) daughter a circle skirt and had to resort to a fancy elastic band because all the tutorials for a waistband were junk. Nothing fit right and I ran out of fabric.
Here's the problem. Due to age, pregnancies, injuries, and genetics...my front block doesn't have 2 darts and for the back, one dart is incorporated at center back and I have only only one on each side ( works out to 3 darts across the back.
Nick is back. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Since you’re not on-screen when it comes to Project Runway, this is the next best thing when it comes to hearing you again! ❤😂

Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much 🌹🙏🌹
Hint. Some wrapping paper has either a grid pattern or dots on the back. Making cheap pattern paper.
Does balancing makes the front and back panels essentially the same shape? What are the differences?
Removing one dart makes the waist smaller. Should we make the other dart larger to accommodate this?
I JUST LOVE THIS. VERY PLAIN, EASY TO UNDERSTAND.. GOD BLESS YOU NICK.
What if the back dart is not up to the front, then what should be done
But, I thought the back was bigger than de front at the hip
