We all love a Maurice. Someone who is talented who doesn't demand the spotlight but who is incredibly talented. Humble, willing to step back for the benefit of the whole. He did it.
Maurice was easy to love with his humor, talent humility and beautiful smile. My heart broke when he died. What a great loss to the music world and hearts of everyone who loved him.
I will listen to these men for the rest of my life! They are all so different in every way: looks, presence and voices. Their voices are all very different and absolutely necessary to make the beautiful music that we love- Robin can hit those prolonged high notes, Barry plays lead, and Maurice hits the lower notes and oh, so magically!
The day Mo died the world lost a beautiful man, inside and out. RIP Mo I still miss you as do all of your friends, your family and your millions of fans❤️❤️
To be able to go back in time and warn Maurice and Robin of the birth defect (both had) so it wouldn't lead to Maurice's death. Robin had surgery to fix it years later, but it couldn't stop the cancer.
I put them up there with Dream Theater as being some of the best musicians. Only 5 groups outsold Bee Gees (two are Beetles and Paul McCartney which I can't stand)
Dear Maurice, you were like the good wine : you became better and charmer by the years ! You also showed more character , self-confidence and personal type perhaps due to the external changes of your looks and your smile became brighter, your voice deeper , which added much to your image ! I was raised with your music and I’ll never stop listening to you and your brothers as long as I live ! Be well wherever you are all of you, on earth or in heaven !!!❤
All the brothers had beautiful voices in there own right, BUT when they sang together Wow Nobody could beat there Harmony. Needless to say I've loved the BeeGees from the start ❤
Andy, Maurice, Robin R.I.P Imagine all the songs we have missed. Their catalogue is huge, even though all died too young. Just imagine how much the world has lost. Music is really the only thing that transcends all the crap in this world.
Maurice and Lulu's version of "The First of May" is unequaled. My deepest thanks to them. I can't conceive of a more authentic, deeply felt, spontaneous expression of profound emotion.
No matter how much they talk u can still hear our great northern boys accent n kept it too, n for this and all they are we thank them u made us n still are making us all extremely proud especially in our home town of Manchester, great guys we knew and so humble n just cute in all they did n the funny we had, n here mo string n were he shud be, go our mo love it. U a strong star. Xxx❤❤❤😇🩵😇🙏🙏god we miss you two. We do ,xxx👍👍👍👍👍😆😆👍👍
Maurice had a lovely voice mostly Barry and robin did lead on most their songs it makes a change for Maurice to do lead all three brothers had brilliant voices couldn't imagine bee gees without any of the brothers they were very clever songwriters
Maurice’s voice was the “dries clear glue” that married all 3 of their voices together. You can’t see it but once you start paying attention you realize it.
Maurice was all ways my favorite one. I just loved his humor and his boyish smile. To me he was the best looking one of the three. As soon as I saw a picture of him way back in my youth I fell in love with. I cried when he die. I couldn’t believe he was gone way too soon. What a shock that was. Rest In Peace Maurice 🙏❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️🙏🙏
All three are perfect in their own ways totally different voices barry is one of a kind maurices song is one of my favorite and whats most interesting is that my no 1 in bee gees was Robins voice 😎
Добряк. Всегда весёлый, улыбка обворожительная, голос бархатный, скромный, располагает к себе. Очень обидно, что век его оказался столь короток.Респект МОРИСУ.
It's great pleasure to hear Maurice Gibb's voice for a change from the the bee gees. His voice is less squeaky than Barry's. Overall all the brothers are good singers (like it or not Barry's voice is unique compared to all other musicians' voices)
These 3 were always very good at saying suggestive things that got the ladies imaginations going. In almost every interview or concert they did that. They knew how to work the female fans. And let’s face it, it’s good business.
By the time they returned to to England as late teens, young adults, they had over 10 years experience performing, sometimes nightly, as little kids and teens. Confident. Gifted. Driven. Relentless. Talent from a place nobody can explain. Easy to pick up and run with, as Stigwood the Impresario did. They are history.
We all love a Maurice. Someone who is talented who doesn't demand the spotlight but who is incredibly talented. Humble, willing to step back for the benefit of the whole. He did it.
Still listening 2024.💕
I am also!!!
Eu❤❤❤
Maurice was easy to love with his humor, talent humility and beautiful smile. My heart broke when he died. What a great loss to the music world and hearts of everyone who loved him.
Still listening to him... cannot believe he is no longer.... bless❤🎉

Maurice was a very accomplished musician & added the PERFECT HARMONY to the other brothers.
Maurice found the perfect harmony to blend over & through the other voices providing the sweet sounds of the Bee Gees.
Maurice had the best voice, and he did all of the arrangements!! He was my favorite Bee Gee!
Maurice gave the group the fullness with his voice.
The day Mo died the world lost a beautiful man, inside and out. RIP Mo I still miss you as do all of your friends, your family and your millions of fans❤️❤️
I love Maurice 's voice. He had a beautiful smile. Greatly missed.
Awful too white teeth though
Que hermosa cancion que canta Maurice's,...
I love Maurices style, shame he didn't do more. So sad to lose him. Love his sense of humour.
20 years since Mo left us. Still makes me sad. Wondering what could have been 💔 grateful for what was. 🎹🎶
I loved Maurice and Robin. Brilliant song and Maurice never given enough credit at what he brought to the group. Sadly missed always remembered
Nice to see and hear Maurice sing solo! Wish we’d heard more of it back in the day! Cheers!
It's been 19 years since Maurice is gone, I still love his voice.
I miss him too so sad died far too young in 2003
His voice was marvelous
too young indeed.
MO is immortal ❤ just like the others
To be able to go back in time and warn Maurice and Robin of the birth defect (both had) so it wouldn't lead to Maurice's death. Robin had surgery to fix it years later, but it couldn't stop the cancer.
Ohh so gorgeous! What a gift you are and so are Barry, Robin and Andy.
Thankful so very
fortunate Barry is still here.❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
What a great song. They just couldn't write a bad song.
AGREED
I completely agree with you !
I put them up there with Dream Theater as being some of the best musicians. Only 5 groups outsold Bee Gees (two are Beetles and Paul McCartney which I can't stand)
@@GabrielGarcia-300 😂😂😂 I can't stand them either.
Love his voice and this song. The Bee Gee’s harmony just wasn’t the same without his voice.❤️
Maurice had a great voice and should have sung lead more often.

I think you can hear Maurice’s voice the best in ‘Closer than Close’. Those 3 voices together, beyond amazing!
All the brothers had beautiful voices in there own right, BUT when they sang together Wow Nobody could beat there Harmony.
Needless to say I've loved the BeeGees from the start ❤
He had broad shoulders, bright eyes and a smile to die for
I've always crushed on Barry, but Mo's sexy smile and mischievous eyes are definitely swoon material!! ❤
@@bonnieplasha4684 aged well too, didn't he? Shame he left too soon
Yess❤️🔥🫠🥰
Most under appreciated Gibb. I mean, just listen to his unique style and sound.
Andy, Maurice, Robin R.I.P Imagine all the songs we have missed. Their catalogue is huge, even though all died too young. Just imagine how much the world has lost. Music is really the only thing that transcends all the crap in this world.
Maurice was the instrumentalists in the group. He could play any instrument. God Bless him.
Maurice and Lulu's version of "The First of May" is unequaled. My deepest thanks to them. I can't conceive of a more authentic, deeply felt, spontaneous expression of profound emotion.
Hadn’t heard that! Thank you! It’s beautiful

Wow first time hearing this! I just love it! Just amazing ❤
Listen to Closer than Close. He sings the lead in that too.
Wonderful song, very catching!!!!
I AGREE
Oh my gosh I have watched the bee gees over and over
They're so addicting !!
Maurice had a lovely voice mostly Barry and robin did lead on most their songs it makes a change for Maurice to do lead all three brothers had brilliant voices couldn't imagine bee gees without any of the brothers they were very clever songwriters
This should be a hit song!!!!
This is nice now I can spot his voice in the trio better. Robins vibrato stood out, Maurice blends . Great song
Yeah I believe Maurice is more of the baritone voice in the trio Robin's voice is the high and Barry is the falsetto
@@chrisburrelljr9270 Barry used full voice and falsetto on many songs. Not just falsetto...
RIP beautiful Maurice. Great guy love you inside and out.
That was a clever Bee Gees pun. Whether intentional or not, totally got me haha. But of course RIP to Maurice and Robin definitely legends no doubt
Maurice needed more songs! This is by far one of the best songs they ever did...
Maurice’s voice was the “dries clear glue” that married all 3 of their voices together. You can’t see it but once you start paying attention you realize it.
LOl. He made a fortune with an average voice. Born lucky into the right family.
It's a beautiful comment You just made, and so true.
@@Gary21259 Not at all, most compositions were made by Maurice, he was the ´´brain´´ of the Bee Gees.
I love his voice.
I love his voice.
Woowwww...Maurice voice alone...unique...
RIP Maurice 01 / 12/ 2022😢😢
RIP Maurice. Beautful song.

Maurice my favorite
You don't get to hear Maurice sing lead very often, but you can see that the Bee Fees wouldn't be the group they are without him.
Love seeing him out front. Great song.
I agree, this should have been released as a single.
It still can be......maybe?
I love this song, one of my favourites.. I wish that we could have more music from Maurice!! So sad that we lost him so young...heartbreaking!!
Love this! Goes to show all of them were extremely talented.
I think Barry said it best, “I wish my brothers were here with me.” I can’t imagine going to three funerals for my brothers.
MARK: Barry Also Said In 2 Interviews That Their Most FAVORITE SONG IS HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE I AGREE
WHAT A LEGACY THEY HAVE GAVE US..
❤❤❤we loved you maurice..
HOJE 22/12/2023 ESSE HOMEM FASCINANTE ESTARÍA FAZENDO 73 ANOS. MESMO NOUTRO PLANO ESPIRITUAL, "PARABÉNS MAURICE, E COMO VOCÊ NOS FAZ FALTA"🌹❤🙌🏼
Really his voice was glue between Barry&Robin which resulted with world's No 1 vocal harmony. Miss you Mo Ro 😔
Maurice is sensational 👏🏻

AT LAST, always loved you MO, reached out to capture your vocals every time, God bless you , so special 🎤🎶🎵🎶🎧 Marilyn McGann Levey, South Africa ❤
Brilliant band. Maurice, Robin and younger brother Andy are sorely missed :(

Yeah... Robin's voice had so much feeling
There c I understand never be another voice like Robin's. It was a obe of a kind gift from God.
Maurice, simplesmente show!!!

Wish someone would release his shelved solo album...
Falsetto
Agree
Robin had the most haunting and unique voice of the brothers. It was chilling
I think out of the 3 brothers my favorite voice was Robin. He had a dark haunting voice with his music. It made it chilling and amazing
Yes he deserved the lime light
So talented and loving
Brilliant! Would have love him and Ringo to perform together. 💕🎁

What a fabulous voice.
I Miss hearing the 3 of them singing together.
Me too.
Loved the Bee Gees but Mo was my favorite and im 57...R.I.P
I love Maurice and I’m in my 70s
These 3 were always very good at saying suggestive things that got the ladies imaginations going. In almost every interview or concert they did that. They knew how to work the female fans. And let’s face it, it’s good business.
They all had such great voices. I know Barry misses his brothers
He's so great. Think he could have transitioned to rock easily. Love this❤
Without Maurice the seventies disco scene would never have been "stayin alive remains iconic in the world of all music. listen to the bass.
Well that’s a big reach. 🤦🏽♀️
Thats a super HIT...and he should have sang lead more... but LOVE LOVE LOVE BEE GEES!
Wow maurice nice voice all of them almost the same voice
