OMG I loooooved fudge as a kid in Guyana. I remember it smelling sooo good while me and my sister watched it thicken on the stove while mommy made it. I am definitely gonna try this next. I will surprise my mom and make her this for mother's day. I just started making guyanese food and followed a lot of your recipes. Delicious! If I use sweetened shredded coconut, how much do I need to adjust the sugar? Also can brown sugar be used?
Hi Marie 👋🏾 so since this is a very sweet treat the amount of coconut used wouldn't matter you won't be able to tell. And yes brown sugar can be used, the color of the fudge will be a bit darker but won't alter the taste.
