- Metal detecting with the Nokta Simplex ultra!
91+ degrees Fahrenheit but it takes a lot more than that to keep me from saving history! A couple great finds can make anyone's day, and I'm excited to get some of those day saving finds today. You just truly never know what lies beneath until you pop that plug.

Great videos. Do you have a UA-cam video on the proper way to ground balance the Ultra. And when changing out coils doing a proper ground balance. Thanks.
Thank you! I do not, but I could definitely make one. This machine technically does not NEED to be GB because it is auto ground balanced. However, you can manually balance it by holding the bottom left button and pumping the coil from 1 inch or so above ground level to about 10 inches high, I do this until I hear 3 beeps and you're done! Same thing for switching coils, other than that, nothing particular needs to be done when switching coils. Its a pretty straight forward easy to use machine.
Awesome fob and crotal bell, I dug the same bell about 2 months ago, keep saving that history!

How do you update this machine? I cannot find it on noktas site
There has not been any updates to be had for the Ultra. What it was sold with is the only version. If there were to be in the future, you would click on the unit to update and scroll down to any update that was shown.
@@wicked_digger Is the ultra a deeper detector than the original Simplex in your opinion?
@billdenney8957 I don't believe so. I have found some deep stuff with the Ultra but the Simplex+ to me is deeper and seperates better too. I'm really liking the score line though. Both the double and triple have been great for me.
