Tesla removed lumbar support only on the passenger seat, not driver seat.
Ah you’re right! Good callout
@@JoshuaChangamazing video. I’m a new subbie. Loved it bro 🎉😊
What year was this removed? I’m very curious looking at buying a gently used Model Y.
On my model 3, the previous owner blacked the entire thing out. Black premium wheels, blacked out chrome trim (including door handles) and tint all around. Murdered our model 3 . I love it lol and it came with enhanced autopilot and unlimited premium connectivity
You’re really an amazing creator and terribly underrated, keep at it, and I have no doubt you’ll do extremely well on UA-cam, cheers!
This helped me out tons, I’ve been trying to find videos that showcase when things like Radar and Lumbar support were removed so I can get older Teslas and this helped out a ton, thank you for this :)
Glad it helped and thanks for the comment!!
Been waiting for this video for 2 months!!
2/23, prices are pretty cheap right now. You can get a good low mileage Model 3 for as low as $31,000 with extended warranty too!
Great video Joshua!
Hey Josh! I wanted you to know that I think you make amazing videos and i am always excited to see a video from you in my subscription feed. I really look forward to seeing what you do in the future. Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much Brandon!! Appreciate the kind words, God bless 🙏🏻
Great video with lots of useful information!
Considering most of my trips are less than 30 miles and I’m comfortable charging up along the way, even a battery on a standard Tesla with 80% battery loss would still be absolutely fine for my use case.
EV's and mainly Tesla's have excellent battery health even after 4-5 years and 100k miles. You might see a 3-4% drop in range from new.
This is great. I have a M3 on order and I recently changed my mind to get a used one. The amount of money I save is worth it to me. About $8-9K

Very helpful
Great video❤
I just found a 2020 Model 3 Long Range with only 22,000 miles and it has lost so much value, together with Labor Day discounts, that it has become a sensible option over a new standard range. Faster and more range, vehicle was cared for and I got a good deal on it for monthly payments. Much of the factory warranty is still there!
The only concern is battery health
The batteries last as long as an ICE engine, ~200,000 miles
@@Brooklyn727 less range
@@Annngelooo Same as ICE engines loose power and efficiency over time. Just something we have to deal with on aging cars.
@@Brooklyn727 agreed, but if range is required for commuting it's something to consider. Older Teslas also have less range from the factory, add on 10-15% battery degradation, and charging to only 80-90% capacity daily. It adds up. Not saying old Tesla's aren't worth buying, but it's a math equation for a few like myself with long commutes.
I just sort the tesla by rage and go down the list till I find all the features I want at a reasonable price I saw a long range fsd aero wheels19in model 3 with 26 k miles 2019 for 29 k it sold really fast tho but if you have the cash you can snag deals
I love All of Your #Tesla videos.
Hey Josh did you buy used direct from Tesla or 3rd party and why… great content keep it up
What about charging? Should I buy a wall charger or can I just charge it at home?
1) Most people won’t want to buy a 2 owner Tesla.
2) Most won’t want to buy a high mileage Tesla when you’re done with it.
3) Battery degradation is real with higher miles.
I’d personally lease a Tesla and be covered under warranty the entire time I’m using it. Then when the lease is done, id get into another lease. Worry free and hassle free without having to find a 3rd owner/buyer when I’m ready for a new car.
Most people sell their EVs their batteries are failing, from abuse...Battery degradation,---- if you continue using the supercharger method you will increase speed at which your batteries degrade . You will start losing range at even a faster rate than normal resulting in more frequent charges and even more time lost and finally battery replacement and believe me you don't want that $$$$$. Even I know that !! Read the manual, it's amazing what you'll learn.
I feel like it’s better just to buy it new just to get more out on the road
I have been told a used Tesla can last 8 years . My Honda accord is 11 years old and running great. Everything works just like new. I expect to keep it when the Tesla is in the shredded plastic pile. Out other car is a 47 year old MGB which my wife has owned fir 47 years. Runs great and fun to drive. I saw a big diesel powered truck delivering a Tesla car the other day. Lots of wonderful diesel fumes coming out of the exhaust. Happy motoring.
Dreaming about autonomy, maybe it's just too big upgrade for autopilot compared to your old phone. Having such shops with a preview is usual to eCommerce sites.
If 60000 of you just donate 1 dollar i can finally afford a tesla 😏

Is a 2018 Tesla Model 3 Long Range RWD In Calypso Red a Good Deal for 29,500
Has 55k Miles
Has FSD included
New Tires
Great Shape
Hi Josh, Good video. There are a few other items that you didn’t mention. The heat pump (although doesn’t make a huge difference), AMD Ryzen, camera’s 1.2 to 5 mega pixels, the charging cable & adapters. I may be putting my 2019 Tesla model 3 performance up for sale. It’s fully loaded with, FSD, all real carbon fiber, customer steering wheel, PPF, ceramic tint & custom rims. Dam you could of purchased mine! 😂
Do you still have it for sale
FSD is only good for the owner that bought it, once you sell it and the new owner makes an account with that Tesla, they have to re-purchase FSD
@@angelquiroa2432 My understanding is that as long as the previous owner transfers it to you when they sell you the car, you can keep it. Maybe that has changed since last year though.
New Model 3 LR is available on “existing inventory” link.
He said “Bluetooth the old fashioned”way??? Bruh😂 😂😂 Tesla owners say some wild stuff!
Why no discussion about battery condition. To me that’s the most important thing- like buying a used phone.
No matter what your numbers show, it is cheaper to own a Camry SE vs Tesla 3 (2WD) even if you can include the $3750 rebate and even if charging is free.
Just bought a Tesla model 3 2020 34k 48k miles
Did you have any issues?
BUYING USED-my # 1 was NO WAITING----got my car in 2 days
where would you suggest to buy a used tesla? strictly from Tesla used inventory or would you buy from different manufactures?
Battery more powerful on 2019-2020-2021

Hey man, where did you buy your used Tesla from?

What year should I buy for a used model 3 ? 2019 ? 2020? 2021 ? I see they all are about the same price range liek 42-48k in my area depends on mileage aswell they run from 24k -60k mileage

15% percent isn’t nearly enough to justify used. And I’ve always bought used. These cars are simply too high at this point and let’s face it, paying 15k for FSD that doesn’t really exist and that might never exist is unwise.
How about the mileage of used tesla? Does it needs to be considered also?
I’m in no way an expert but only if it’s creeping up on warranty miles. I haven’t found a suitable video of the degradation which is also a concern with high miles
Don’t buy an expensive used one when you can get a new one with no battery depredation
What about registration costs- new vs old?
So if you buy a used Tesla that comes with enhanced auto pilot you get to keep it I heard Tesla takes it away?
I purchased a 2018 M3 LR RWD two weeks ago for 31k ....but I didn't get any of the self driving features.
You mentioned all the stuff that the older model has that the new ones dont anymore. But you didnt mention features the newer ones have that old one dont.
I’m wanting to buy a used Tesla from the Tesla used inventory but will they include the warranty?

my m3 is named Bella too lmao
How much did you pay for it?
how is it getting in the car on a day to day basis? is it easy to get in and out and is it spacious?
It’s great getting in and out with the “easy entry” feature, which moves the seat back and steering wheel up when you put the car in park to allow you to get out easier. Trunk size is adequate, though coming from a Subaru Outback it’s no comparison 😂 front seats are spacious, back seats get tight for anyone over 6 ft tall.
@@JoshuaChang great thank you! This helps
Is that my Bessie in a Tessie?
Nah I like burning gas 😅 yeah might be a bit faster but enjoy the noise of a big block v8 rumbling
Do you get any Tax credit when buying used?
how's it holding up ? looking into 2019 used.
Great car! Still feels modern. Only thing I wish it had was a powered trunk. Model 3’s at current prices are a huge steal compared to what I paid!
Oddly enough with the 2023 price drops Tesla has lowered used ! 2020 long range FSD/acceleration, 11k odometer, 44k
That’s a great deal! Punching myself for not waiting a bit longer 🥲
@@JoshuaChang I bought a Y after the 1 year wait for 53k back in September. I bought 25k of Tesla stock in 2020 at the COViD break and sold it @60k to make the purchase.
Never look back on a asset purchase. The 3 is an amazing ride. Definitely more fun then the Y. Enjoy it every day and remember that unlike every ICE car your value isn’t less than what you paid.
I looked at used M3s….they were actually more than buying new. I ordered a RWD for $47k……

Cheaper used now.
@@sfrealestatedealmaker6001 Yep I ended up buying a used 2019 for $37k from Tesla.
Hertz car rental dumped 20 thousand Tesla cars going back to gas cars. We should do the sale.
Do I have to pay extra every month if it has full self driving? I heard it’s 200 dollar a month subscription
You either pay the $15k up front or $200/mo. You could just do it for one month if you wanted.
Lol to bad it doesn’t say backing up pedestrians move
Why is he calling it a tezla?
Teslas holding their value did not age well on this lol
you still happy you bought that car
Definitely overpaid for it, but it’s been a good car to me! No maintenance, saved a ton on gas. I’ve enjoyed testing out FSD with all the updates and am excited for version 12 when that rolls out soon.
"Tez-la"
700th!
So it’s tezla?
Tezzzzzla
Tezzzzla
I used to be open to buy a Tesla….not anymore…won’t consider anything from the snark
“tezla”
Shoulda got an Audi.
And 3 why you shouldn't...
1. Actual battery health is unknown...until it isn't too far from charging.
2. Teslas have substandard build quality when they're NEW. A few thousand miles later, they're going to be WORSE. And we won't talk about any aftermarket mods screwing things up.
3. The price you pay, WILL NOT include features the original owner paid for. You get to pay fill price for those again...OVER AND ABKVE what you pay for the car.
To quote Nancy Reagan (God rest her soul)...JUST SAY NO.
I bet he feels a bit bad now, that a new one is 43k with 7500 off through tax credits.
Don’t remind me 🤦🏻♂️
A Tesla is not an investment. It is a depreciating asset.
😂😂😂😂
This didn't age well.
Rip to anybody who bought in 2022
Lol 😂 that really sucks when ppl panic or trend buy.
I feel sorry for electric car drivers and future owners. They will simply have to learn the hard way .. as I did. These things are a huge hassle, all those lost hours sitting in those charging stations, huge anxiety, plus a outrageous expense in the long run. Good luck trying to sell a used Electric car with wore out battery modules. You'll find out nobody wants to pay the ridiculous price of batteries ... Batteries are very ... very expensive to replace ( thousands and thousands of dollars) ... and make no mistake, you will be replacing them. These batteries are highly toxic to our environment, with a high potential for disaster to our surroundings. DON'T FOOL YOURSELF and CERTAINLY, DON'T LISTEN TO A SALESMAN , ... LITHIUM BATTERIES ARE NOT GREEN CLEAN ENERGY BY ANY MEANS! ...
I wish I knew all this before I bought my car . Do your homework before buying !

Good points @ All Electric
So you think I should stick with my super dependable fast 5.7 Tundra. We have had 4 hybrids. Present dilemma, Ford Cmax Energi, 120,000 miles, brakes and computer module cost $6000 for repair. $4000 for AC. I am very upset. 2 past Priuses. 2003 and 2007. 187,000 miles on the 2007. Defective Toyota paint job. $11,000 for repairs. Battery cells bad and other weird problems. 2021 Rav4 Hybrid $40,000 destroyed by near headon collision with a 27 yr old man not paying attention. Beer near the accident. The vehicle was 3 months old. Destroyed. We all lived. No lawsuit. He was poor. I know Elon Musk wants to address the battery issues. He is up to something as noted in the Investor Day talk which was very insightful for me. Elon is not full of shit. He will change technology continuously. Good luck.
Good luck.
Did you have a wall charger at home?
This is a joke today
I think it’s funny people think $15k is pricey for full self driving software. This tells a lot of our times today. Think 20 years ago people would have been amazed and paid $100k for the same features
A used Tesla are better than the new Tesla’s. Old Tesla has all its bumper sensors, power passenger seat. My model 3 came with all subscriptions: sport mode where it hits 3.2 seconds at 60 permile. Full auto pilot and self driving feature.
For a smooth ride, I went with wheel spacers, 20mm back , 15mm front. I noticed a big difference on a smoother ride. There is more of a bounce when going over bumps. It must be the wheel width that have it a springy ride.
I am very interested in this mod. Can you give more details?
