Your rear site on the STR-9MC can be adjusted by turning the top screw clockwise with a flat head screwdriver. That way you can aim normally without having to keep the front dot in that half-moon position. I had the same issue out of the box and now it shoots perfectly!

@ I’ve head that possibility around spring time IWI will be sending another shipment of Masada Slim’s to the U.S. If this is true, I’m wondering if the new ones will have a light rail.
Love that I can carry my Stoeger STR-9SC as my main carry with the STR9MC as my backup, with the 13 rnd (or any other STR line mag) as backup mag for both! What a system
My str 9mc does not work well at all with the mags that didn't come with it. The two that came with it are reliable I only have about 470 rounds so far. Make sure all your mags work a good luck and happy new year.
I was just at Cabelas, didn’t see forty ammo anywhere. As far as handguns are concerned, it’s mostly 9mm, .38 special and 22 you see in stores. That’s the main thing that keeps me away from some of these calibers
They adapted that glock take down switches… that gun actually looks good… I am almost positive this won’t be on the Cali roster. 😂 SPN is always correct and honest about his reviews… sure, he will review a few of the newer guns but you can’t fault him for that. Who buys a clone when you can get the real deal..for a simular pricelevel😂😂😂its like buying a Lada for 3000$ when there is a Mercedes for 3500$..its just foolish...
@@ricksworlddereaux2397 Why buy one when you can have a garage full of classics, exotics, and toys of all sorts. Oh, sorry, that isn't a financial option for most. The Nürburgring is fun too, but I have only done that with a Corvette. It's nothing compared to the US though. Of course, it's hard to imagine why a European can be enthusiastic or even comment about micro compact guns anyway since legal carrying is rare there. The notions of rights and citizenship are given mere lip service. SPN- You should check out the Kahr CT380. I think you would enjoy shooting it: it is a pocket sized .380 that shoot like a compact. Once, you break them in, they are excellent shooters for the size. With Magguts, they are are 8+1 and smaller than the BG 2.0. There have been out for several years, so you can get them for $270 on Buds.
I bought an STR-9 for something like $170 after rebate less than a year ago. Shoots better than my Glocks. I've since added an STR-MC Optics ready and STR-9C to the stable. My only complaint is they are made in Turkey (but that is more an issue with Erdogan's regime than the people themselves).
Funny enough I told my friend who just started buying to NOT buy the stoger. Not that there is inherently wrong with it. Just that he was already over budget and picking up the sar budget bundle on clearance at PSA. 250 for a knock off light, and an actual cheap holster molded for the knock off light. Let's him get used to owning a carry piece without breaking the budget. After he covers his basics (sh0tgons and such) then I would recommend getting a stoger.

I really like Stoeger, and their handguns are usually pretty good, but I did not have a good experience with the STR-9mc. The rear sights are held on with the same screw that adjusts the height of the sights, and within the first 10 rounds the sights were being thrown back and forth on the slide. I was able to tighten them down, but with that the rear sights are also a lot lower to the slide than I'd have liked. The sights have come loose 6 times now in 1000+ rounds. My second issue is still ongoing 1000+ rounds in, and that is keyholing. Anything 115gr, weather it be FMJ or hollow point, keyholes most of the time at 10+ yards. 124gr and 147gr don't have this issue. The only 115gr I didn't have this problem with was Speer Gold Dot. I've sent mine in to Stoeger twice now and they said they can't find what the issue is. Usually I stick up for Stoeger, I REALLY like the 9c and the regular 9 but it feels like their QC is really bad with the 9mc

My first pistol was a glock 21 gen 1 or 2 police return... I built a P80 G20 but in .357 Sig and plan to get a threaded 10MM barrel...others currently are P80/G17, Ruger 57, G3C, used to have a PT145, a Makarov, and briefly a Bryco-Jennings 9MM(I know, poverty is a bish).
First off, Glock needs to get with the times on double stack technology on small frame guns. Or their bottom line is going to continue to erode. Secondly, I forgot my other point 😂

"Try getting Sig to replace a mag". I almost bought this gun twice over the past year but I ended up buying a used hellcat and loving it. If your patient and look you can find a hellcat used for about $325-350. But not gonna lie, in the near future I wouldn’t be surprised if I ended up getting the Str9mc 😂
So with 9mm, he stated it’s just because it’s popular. Not the case. 9mm is selling due to the technology of ammunition. 9mm is more lethal than it used to be along with the fact that .40 S&W is lower capacity and snappier than 9mm

I saw a full size Stoeger at a pawn shop couple years ago for 200 should have got it 🤦🏿
Just get a Shield plus for 399$
I have a Glock 17 from 1986 and would not trade it for a new 17.
Gimme your opinion, i just ordered a SAR USA SAR9 17rd brand new IN PLatinum from palmetto state armory for $219 plus tax and $19 shipping.
Canik mete. What you get for 399 is insane.
Glock isnt winning any awards. Glock hasn't innovated in over 30 years. 😂
Spn do you think the cap sights are good for Glock 27?
Yes the cap sights, I dots and the I dot version from xs sights are my go to sights! Love the cap sights.
There are so many more out there that I would select instead. Your opinion differs from mine I'm afraid.
Oh nooo!!! 😢😮 what are we all gonna do now 😂
Did you look at the Tisas/SDS PX-9 Carry Gen 3?
My carry gun is a 30yr old Sig 229 or a snub nose 357mag. Old gun for an old man😅
Is there not another video you did specifically about how this was NOT sleeper of the year?
I really thought it was gonna be the Sig 365
make a video on the psa dagger
357Sig would be sweet
Yep! MC is a great soft shooter. Love the ergo's. Have you tried the SC yet? Looks like It's a G26 clone.
