Code: SPN for 10% off Blacksmith Tactical Holsters. My go to is the v2 holster with double discrete carry clips and a wedge. And if you have under a 3.7” barrel, get a wedge!! Respect
Shield Plus is my EDC, but for office carry I have a deep concealment elastic holster below waist line, Shield is little too big, so my G43 with Magguts. Hoping STR-9MC can replace it for more capacity, lot of people come through every day, lot of visitors
Yeah those Stoeger pistols were nice since they came out with the first model. They’ve been adding all frame sizes since. I think they’re real nice especially for the price point. Man there are so many great guns on the market. Pick what you like. You really can’t go wrong.
I have to go with the Stoeger because I can’t reach the slide release comfortably on any of the M&Ps. I’ve check out pretty much every micro/compact 9mm out there. Ended up with the Hellcat which is perfect for me. For perspective, measuring my grip circumference from thumb to pointer finger is barely 8inches. The stoeger fits nicely in my hands, but I’m not a fan of the rear sights, overall though the stoeger feels super close to my Hellcat. Would definitely be a great backup choice.
Never give up my Shield Plus whattan amazing carry piece. But my alternative summer carry is my G43, would be nice of the Stoeger is similar to the but more capacity...
I tried a 15rd shield plus mag and no matter what rounds i used, rounds 7 and 8 nose dive into the mag. I havent replaced the spring or tried another mag: rather just use the og 10 and 13 mags with magguts
🛡+ ,G3C are the best budget backups the 🛡is the better gun but still go with G3C same size more capacity especially if dremel 1/3 12rd mags flush perfect pocket carry,G3C takes G19 tlr6/7s may fit MP3.6,G27/30 tlr6/7 holsters as well, can also fill/sand/stipple the finger rest with jb weld/poly weld on frames adds some grip especially to thin framed micros pistols like the MC9 🙄
Hogue grip or handle it edge grips for the Shield plus? Which is better? I see you have the hogue on the shield plus and the edge grips on your performance center 40 so that’s why I’m asking
I wanted the str9 but couldn’t find it anywhere, found a shield at a local store and it’s good in its own ways but I’m suprised they’re almost the same size damn
I’m surprised to see Stoeger depart from their formula of expired patent Glock semi-clones. They seem less glitchy than some early Glock 4th and 5th gen models. But the sample size is still small. The MC design should have come from Glock first! It’s a thin 26.
The Storger STR 9MC is what Glock should have did with the 43 instead of the 43 the STR 9MC is a slim Glock 26 with better grip texture stainless steel guide rod and fully adjustable rear sights and a dark rich slide finish mine has been flawless so far
@jason200912 If l need more than SIG 357 l skip 40SW + 45acp and go right to 10mm and then l want a 4.5 or larger barreled gun it's not a good round for me in 3 5 inch barrel or less micro or subcompact the 10mm really shines in a 10inch or more barreled carbine style rifle and you can shoot 40SW out of it in a pinch a 220 grain hard cast 10mm going 1500fps is some pretty good power out a small little carbine
Stoeger seems nice but its in the price range (at 330) and its more expensive than a lot of better/more proven guns. I've seen a shield plus for 330 this week, less than the stoeger. You can get a czp10s for 290. The walther pps m2 for 299. Gx4 at 240. And many more around the price that don't suffer from magazine shortage issues, that are proven platforms, and have aftermarket support. Id take a str9mc over a canik mete mc9 but thats about it.
The grip on the STR 9MC to me is so much better than the Shield but that's my opinion yes it's very nice in my opinion possibility the best micro 9 available unless you comparing it to a Stuccato CS but you'd be comparing a 350 dollar pistol to a 2700+ dollar pistol
I like my M&P, but I don't have a Shield. I have, however, shot a friend's shield and had some issues with it. Full disclosure, the guy had a poorly zeroed optic on it, which got in my way. The Stoeger, though, is quite enuresis to shoot! It took my "best of the show" award of the 10 microcompacts I tried back in March!

I carry my Shield Plus daily with the 15 roung Equalizer mag, i also added the gray hogue grip. But i may add a Stoger MC to my collection.
Great setup! And you should. It’s actually a very well made pistol, its a sleeper!
Shield Plus is my EDC, but for office carry I have a deep concealment elastic holster below waist line, Shield is little too big, so my G43 with Magguts. Hoping STR-9MC can replace it for more capacity, lot of people come through every day, lot of visitors
None of the larger factory mags I have work in my MC the 11 and 13 have been flawless. Thanks for the all the great videos!
Have both and they are great!

I love my str9c, picked it up for 265.00, never fails to shoot so far, variety of ammo, always shoots
Fantastic video, thanks again 👍🇺🇸
Now we need the stoeger compared to p365. There are no videos comparing these guns
N8 tactical makes a holster for MC. There a subsidiary of Crossbreed. I have one and it`s working so far. Midwest Gunworks has extra mags.
Watching this video again in November 2024,Stoeger has $75 rebate on all pistols - ordered STR-9SC AND STR-9MC! (SC for $220 before rebate)
Kygunco got the mc9 for 233 free shipping before the 75 mir rebate
I had a Shield but not the + model no longer own it l do own the STR 9MC and I'm keeping it
Sold my shield this morning 😅😅 strongly considering that 9MC

Don’t know about the Stoeger but I really like the Shield Plus.
I'm one those people that requested this comparison 🙋🏿♂️. Thanks
I tried a 15rd shield plus mag and no matter what rounds i used, rounds 7 and 8 nose dive into the mag. I havent replaced the spring or tried another mag: rather just use the og 10 and 13 mags with magguts
I'll have to check out the Stoger mc now especially if it keeps getting positive reviews.

I held the Stoeger. I really like it. I got the Shield Plus, but they're pretty close.
Can you do a redo of the 9mc
I complain that the shield doesn’t have a rail lol but I found a holster that works with the recover tactical rail.
I wanted the str9 but couldn’t find it anywhere, found a shield at a local store and it’s good in its own ways but I’m suprised they’re almost the same size damn
I’ve seen the base shield plus for advertised for $349 several places
SPN do you use tungeston guide rods on your EDC glocks or the stock guide rod?
Thanks love your videos. Keep grinding bro 💪
The material doesn’t matter as much as the weight of the spring. Some pistols have cheap plastic guide rods that work just fine.
carrying g26 gen 5 as we speak...... thanks spn have both of these guns and i love both
No problem man, love that! Respect
I see no use for a red dot on a 3 in barrel.

My Taurus g3x is my new carry...I have 7 carry pistols.
I'm interested in the stoger glock 27 clone. Haven't seen one in my areas shops.
The Storger STR 9MC is what Glock should have did with the 43 instead of the 43 the STR 9MC is a slim Glock 26 with better grip texture stainless steel guide rod and fully adjustable rear sights and a dark rich slide finish mine has been flawless so far
Glock 27 clone?? So it's in .40 cal?
@jason200912 rather have it in SIG 357 with a extra 40SW barrel would take SIG 357 over 40SW
@@gloriamaletta8667 I'd rather have the 40 for the bigger wound size.... if I had to pick one of the 2

I run a canik mc9 with a optic 15 round mag better triggers on the canik
I don't like the SC sights. Just make it fixed. And comes w/ only one Mag everywhere I look?????
I don’t know what to tell you sir
You should look at the PX nine General one GEN two or GEN three

right... we seem to have a bunch of fanbois that are pretending like they know what they are talking about.

You stippled that one gun to death, and ruined it. Stippling is supposed to be strategic. NOT all-encompassing. sheesh.
There is no stillling on either handgun? Lmao what are you talking about lmaoooooo
