Simple and well explained. Question, if you pre assigned participants say 50 and only half show, I’m assuming that only those who signed in will still be assigned to the pre arranged groups? And any late comers can be later added to said groups? Thank you in advance.

The host of the meeting made me a cohost. I was learning to assign participants to the breakout rooms, which I did. I noticed that the host's name and myself as a cohost did not have our names displayed and there was no "Join" icon to click on to participate in specific breakout rooms. Someone said I should click on the Participants Icon to locate both the host and myself as cohost so I could join each of us to a specific breakout rooms in order for us to participate. Please advise. Thank you

I don't really understand why would someone create breakout rooms before the meeting?
Teachers at school would use that where students are working in groups during the week. The following day they return to the same groups. Saves time so the teacher doesn’t have to do it each day and makes sure student stay in their assigned groups.
