I’m sorry WHAT??!?? Not only are you amazingly smart kind creative and hardworking you also BOUGHT YOUR PARENTS A HOUSE?!???? This is insanity!! You’re the best Sarah!!
I can 10/10 confirm that it’s normal to not be talking to each other 24/7 while living together. I’ve been with my bf for 8 years and we always just do our own thing most of the time. I think it’s pretty healthy that couples do this to avoid driving each other crazy 😂. Thank you for always sharing! Love your videos ❤
thank you for opening up about your relationship! i've always assumed that james was a full on clothing designer haha - that's cool that you're both embracing creative sides vs working tech jobs. i think people don't talk about those moments in a relationship online as often and it's much appreciated as someone in a budding long-term relationship.
Wow, I found your channel after the "bed rotting" tips video came to my feed this morning and it feels like the algorithm sent your content at such a perfect time! I'm entering my last semester of college (undergrad) and I've been going through so many odd transitional phases and finding someone who's also going through micro changes (and especially in good ways!) is so validating to hear. I'm considering moving into a place of my own and this has been a gentle push in the right direction to validate the stress I've been feeling in regards to allllll of this overwhelming change. New viewer and I'm so excited to tune in at this exciting new shift for you and your lovely home 💕
As someone who is in their late 20’s and who is married, with 4 pets and all, it is TOTALLY normal to spend time away from each other and not always see each other. My hubby works A LOT, and we don’t always get a lot of time together during the week days. I find that it is important to spend time together during the weekend. We find date nights are helpful and even spending time doing groceries together or finding a hobby we can both do together (we spend about 15 minutes each night watching a video together). Our situation is a bit different as we have been together nearly 11 years (married about 3 years), but we definitely are always growing and learning. Lately our struggle has also been we’ve tried to grow our family so that’s been stressful. It seems to me that you and James have a super healthy relationship! You two are awesome!
It is so nice to see you happier, and i can not even describe how happy it makes me to see you two together, even if there are challenges with your schedules and careers. Also idk if you've just been sharing them less, or Moose's problems went away, but i hope he is doing good aswell. Thank you so much as always, you make my day every time i get to watch your vlogs.
The doing different things in the same space is called parallel play. My husband and I do it all the time. (we're mid-20's) It works as long as we're both willing to engage in conversation occasionally.
mini pickles have a higher surface area to volume ratio and can absorb more yummy pickle juice pottery is so fun! It's really healing creating things with your hands
I just found your channel through your last video!! Can you please talk more about how you bought a house for your parents? Its something I want to do for them in the future 🥹
the first word I said as a baby..well first one that my parents recognised, was pickle. after I was crying so loud and pointing towards the pantry, my dad started to hand me everything im there to see if that's what I wanted, at last he grabbed a pickle jar and I almost swallowed my tongue when I saw it. Not sure how much of it is true, but I heard this story a million times and each time the pickle jar is bigger. So I supposedly ate my own weight in pickles that day... well, I do eat about 100 jars a year of that stuff. People don't bring wine when they visit, they bring pickles.
i’m sorry if this is an inappropriate question but why did you choose to stick w the budget that you did? bc i’m sure u can afford it with your google salary
Someone should always live below their means. Just because she makes money doesn’t mean it should all go to rent. There’s other bills, savings, investments, emergency funds and other things people need to save money for
hii definitely no offense taken to this question on my end (it's very valid!) I think generally everyone's situation is different / everyone has different priorities but for transparency, im building up my savings again after helping my parents buy their home a year and a half ago (so right now i dont feel like i have the means to be affording an expensive apartment) also I am trying to max out my 401k contributions every year (& the nyc tax rate is so high) so the amount I bring in a month after all that is actually the whole rent of that place (if not a little less) also i’m saving up right now because i plan to leave corporate in the future so trying to minimize risk i hope that clears it up 🙂
hope everyone’s having a happy weekend 🥰
