I think that's a concentration thing. Sometimes when I concentrate on talking everything else fades out of existence I need to do something about that so I can be more aware

RtM is an absolute blast, especially when you get a few friends in and turn the difficulty all the way up. i cannot believe the game is being dismissed by game "journalists" as a 4/10 or something. it's so much fun.
I started 2 sandbox campaing one offline one online but this is typical that game which is more enjoyable if you play with friends or others. The ideal population would be 20-30 player in my opinion because there is a lot to do and the mine needs to be refill with life. I hope at least bots can be added because wandering alone is not really motivating despite the game is cozy and simple.
I beat this game awhile back in EA but now I can't find it in my Steam Library. Losing my mind. Maybe it wasn't on Steam Originally but I can't recall where it was lol. Oh I guess it was on Epic...duh.
I know it wasn't released to steam till recently but i played it using epic. But people kept putting it down saying they'd never play it due to it. (Im like then you never liked the game if you want to be childish enough to use it as an excuse)

And I understand when people say things aren't more correct you don't want to stray too far from stuff. Or you end up with characters that never existed and love triangles that never would exist.....cough. hobbit. Cough. Lol.

It is a good game, there are some parts that are repetitive but overall I enjoyed it. I tended to base hop, build, explore, conquer and repeat.

40 hours is great for the cost IMO. I can see myself sticking a lot since Im already at 15 hours haha

Im honestly having a lot of fun with it. Its slower etc but I quite like that big change from other Survival games Ive been playing recently.

The only mistake u made was not doing campaign first. Highly recommend starting with that. But love this game have over 200 hours on epic. Enjoy 🎉

Might i ask: what exactly is the difference between sandbox and campaign? For they both start the same.
Sandbox unlocks a lot of the quests and stuff early and you can craft things quicker and dont have the campaign quests to guide you.
