Great video, also remember that sitting up straight is good but tipping back a little is also great to ease build up tension in the back so it can restore blood flow. I also used to slought alot on my old chair so I ended up getting Herman Miller Aeron since it forces you to sit correctly

Dude thank you so much for the chair wheel tip to increase seating height.
The lowest my desk goes is to 28 inches. I'm 6 foot tall but I still notice my arms aren't completely parallel and I get shoulder strains with mouse movements.
I wish I had gotten the upper version of my desk that could go down to 24 inches but unfortunately I passed my return date.

I'm 5'6" also and it's frustrating how desks aren't made for people of different heights. Even most adjustable desks wont go below 27.5". Thanks for bringing this up.

I cut the legs of my desk and it now sit at 26" wich is good but not perfect, for me at 5'6" i think 24/25" would be perfect

Its also frustrating bc even with a very adjustable desk, your limb length torso length etc make it impossible t ever feel comfortable :/

Yeah I just built my own desk to be honest. Fun way to get into woodworking as well

I'm going through the same problem. I'm 1,57m and it's impossible to find a desk that goes bellow 70cm

Thank you so much for sharing this!! I have arm pain when holding my mouse. I’ll definitely try the wrist rest!

Don't force straight backs when sitting cuz it is more stress. It's better to slightly lean back a bit or slouch a bit

There was no particular brand, just a standard soft footrest from Amazon. 👍🏼

What foot rest is that? I've been looking for one like that.
    Thank you.

    Great vid!
How do you feel about the low-profile keyboard as part of the ergonomic setup?
I am using a dedicated ergo keyboard, but I want a smaller one on my desk with some ergonomics in mind, and I noticed the Keychron low profile versions.
What is your intake on typing for longer hours on it?

    • @DNChromatic

I think there’s a bit of preference. I like the profile low to keep the wrist as neutral as possible with the elbow.

What is desk depth required for ergonomic sitting if my monitor size is 32 inches?

I don't understand the desk height thing. I'm 5' 5" and I'm sitting at a desk that's 29 inches high and it seems too low based on the chair I'm in.

nice selling, but most important your monitor is so high and that does a major damage to the neck

Hey, what is the device your are having on the left below your screen?

    • @DNChromatic
      @DNChromatic  2 роки тому +1

I believe that is the Monitor light bar controller. The Xioami monitor bar and BENQ monitor bar both have this.

I got both left and right with me, unfortunately when filming that quick scene, I didn’t realize i had the left one in the shot. Rest assured I’m using the right side as we speak.

    • @afhummm

@@DNChromatic ah nicee. I’m waiting for my left one to arrive. How’s it like using both as a keyboard + mouse wrist rest? And are you using large or small? We have the same height so your video helps :)

@@afhummm I don’t use the keyboard side wrist rest, I don’t find it effective for me. I was sized as a L.
