Worth noting the option to collect duties and import taxes at checkout is only available on the Advanced Shopify plan, starting at 299 USD a month :( not even sure what to do now.
So, we pay the duties collected to the shipper and not the country? How is this done? Do they simply send an invoice and we remit payment directly to them? Thanks for this video!
I'm still confused. I understand the setup, but once the duties/taxes are collected from the customer do I have to remit them to someplace or is that taken care of for me? I'm coming from Etsy where all of this was handled on the backend.
I think he's saying that you'll be billed by the customs or shipping carrier once the package has gone through customs. That's how I understood it anyway.
very helpful, thank you!

What do you do if you don't have the advanced plan do you know?

Can you cover the Shopify “buy shipping label” setup for DDP or alternatives?
