Seriously I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out for almost two weeks! I am so glad I stumbled across this! Now I be searching for your tax info next, because you sir, are the only one that makes sense to me!
My business does custom printing on t-shirts , hoodies, canvases. Then we aldo have an apparel line we sell. This video couldn't have been more on point for me. Great video, Much appreciated.
You got me in under 2 mins just when I was about to fall asleep on my keyboard trying to figure out (and stress out) about Shipping rates for multiple POD! You woke me up! Thank you so much ☺🙏
The only useful and easy-to-understand tutorial on UA-cam for any person. Even the people from shopify didn't manage to explain as well as you! I have one more dilemma, the errors in the google console to be solved in shopify. I still haven't found any video on how to avoid indexing errors in the google console for the shopify platform.
very helpful thank you. The other tutorials were doing it by weight and when I heard you talk about doing it by value it made me rethink what I was doing and made the process tremendously simpler. I hadn't actually done the math on the shipping costs with that approach in mind. I totally launched my first shop thinking I had it figured out and I did not and had to put it together in a hurry. All good now!
This video was very helpful! Thank you! In relation to shipping, we need to add a percentage to products to cover for orders that will receive free shipping. How can we more effectively work out our pricing so that we are not losing money?
WHat about if you have a shirt, that is global but the shipping is $6 USA and $40 to Australia and you need to put different shipping for different countries on one listing. ?
This was helpful. The Shopify pages have changed, so it's a bit confusing trying to figure out the differences i.e. instead of 'Shipping From' it says 'Shipping origins and instead of 'Shipping to' it says 'Shipping zones'... there's no 'Manage' link, it's just a 'greater than' '>' sign.
thank you so much. I have a question about Free Shipping. How will we set up the price on T Shirt if we said free shipping on our store, but actually, printify has no free shipping for customers? Also, can you show us return policy on POD products when Pritify is unacceptable return products? Thank you.
I’m having trouble because I sell home decor….most of my items are at a pretty fair shipping charge, but my pillows are RIDICULOUS! 2 pillows would be almost 40$ shipping. I don’t want to do a flat rate shipping generally because like I said most items are fair, discounted is a good idea but I can’t do it on products but only thresholds of item amount…I don’t want do free, that’s just not smart for me…so what do I do? When I go into my print provider for that product it looks like theirs multiple shipping profiles and there’s all the different countries…it just gets a bit overwhelming…I’m in the states, do I just change USA and maybe Canada?
Hi, could you please do a tutorial using a Printify integration? I am currently living in Europe but I would like my brand to ship in the EU and out of the EU to the USA, United Kingdom, UAE, South Africa and Australia. The rates are displayed on Printify depending on the manufacturer you choose to use but it becomes confusing when a customer takes a variety of products. It is also difficult to balance shipping rates at a fair price because shipping to the EU vs USA includes a huge difference in shipping rates
so the rate we are setting is for the whole shipment? so if we ship 5 sweatshirts at say a total shipping cost of $26, are you saying charge $10 shipping total? Or will it charge each individual item..?? I'm so lost....
Came here looking for answers and I'm still none the wiser! So for a wall tile its £9.71 plus shipping to the UK £3.23 = £12.94, I set my percentage at 50% markup and that makes the final cost £14.99 and the "Your Profit" states that I make £5.28 Ok I get that part but is the shipping deducted from my percentage? leaving me with whats left from the profit, in this case it would be £2.07 profit? Sorry I'm losing the plot nowadays!
Shipping must be set separately in Shipping and delivery - custom shipping rates. You need to create new shipping profiles, for each location. For example: * one shipping profile for the USA, add shipping 6$ + 2$ each additional item *another shipping profile for Canada, add shipping 10$ + 2$ each additional item *and another shipping profile for Europe, add shipping 20$ + 10$ each additional item. *and so on. Make sure you consult the shipping rates provided by each vendor of the items that you decide to sell in your store. If you don't set up these shipping profiles, then yes you will end up paying the shipping costs from your own pocket. Hope I was clear enough
I had an etsy shop. I offered free shipping for 8 months...no sales, because customers only saw those inflated numbers for a t-shirt. I eliminated free shipping...boooom the first sale after 4 days after changing the settings for shiping. Customers know where that free shipping comes from their wallet, so I don't think there's any point in fooling them.
Thanks mate, that was really informative. My only question is how do you find the shipping rate to charge to ensure you are not ripping yourself or customer off? It's not as if it's plucked out of thin air, right. I've always been afraid I will under or over charge as I've seen some people do. TIA.

What about weights of painting and crated boxes. How do you calculate those and input into Shopify?

Hi
I made all the changes but its not updated the shipping rates on my store ln shopify, pls help
Ok - so what about 'shipping from' - then list of POD suppliers... Delete all of them? and just concentrate on the cost plus shipping = cost ideology?

First step. Go to shipping and youll have ALL PRODUCTS...
Wonderful, I have 0 products under that heading - first step. FAIL
