Not sure if you are still having issues finding Black Tyvek. I just bought a bunch at my local Tandy. Love your videos. You're a true mentor. Thanks

In the 5 years since this video was made, we carry Tyvek, a few hundred different types of leathers, lots of tools, and everything else needed to make this project... and Tandy buys these templates from us.

I'm a whistler, too:) Thanks for the tutorial. I'd bought the template at Tandy and their tutorial link doesn't work so I'm glad I found yours! I'm excited to try it--I've not been pleased with how the kits come together--the edges are all a bit off and it's hard to get them to look nice and smooth.

I realize this is an older video, but I found a source for a fabric. It's not only very thin but is a RFID fabric so the credit cards are protected. I found it on Amazon for not a bad price. A 3' by 4' sheet should make a few wallets. Not too badly priced considering. The material at Makers Leather is cheaper and you get more so you're choice.

For stitching videos, search for Nigel Armitage or Ian Atkinson...great tutorials.

Also, Gary Pip. Very basic, but great technique.

What are you using for the edges? Would gum tag do?

Why not use a wheel cutter for your straight cuts?....Does me awesome!....Just a question.

If you're looking for another project to try, I've seen many videos for Field Notes covers...might do well for you also. Just a suggestion.

How do you get the beautiful vignette on the cover?
I love the darker edges and lighter center!
