To clarify it a bit more seeing as you did a poor job. By completing the easter egg before guided mode drops you unlock a wonder weapon customisation. I.e. a different look for that weapon. So to clarify further. This would include the new wonder weapon, Ray gun and presumably the Jetgun as well. These are only available before guided mode drops. There is so little we know about what it is all I can say is it isn’t a blueprint. You cannot start the game with that weapon like in MWZ.

The Wonder Weapon reward for betting the Easter Egg has only been confirmed for Terminus Island so far, and the only classic Wonder weapon on that map is a raygun. It's just a Blueprint, so no, it doesn't give you the option to start the game with a raygun it only gives you a skin for it.

As a zombies enjoyer but someone who never got around to doing easter eggs, i couldn't be happier to have a feature that makes something a tad daunting more accessible

Not sure of your hating or not but here: The devs have addressed that the ee in Cold War were way too easy so they've made them much harder. As a result, a few weeks to a month after the map ee is solved is when they plan to release an official guide so that casual players who don't even know an ee exists can finally play and finish it. Best of both worlds.

If they’re both exactly the same, why would you not just do guided mode remember the steps, and then to the normal mode they both have to be different for that to be worth it otherwise what’s the point of doing it twice?
I'm very happy as an og zombies player to see a guide to the Easter egg ending after players find it first, I never did it because of the convoluted stuff. But props to those who did it on there own as the first ones to do them, i personally did not have the patience to sit hours shooting and doing stuff in hopes to find another step. And before someone says it many players followed youtube guides to do them not the harcore and dedicated fans who spent countless hours to find every single step
If people still want the limited-time rewards, they will have to do the Easter Egg before the guided mode comes out. So they will need guides for that.
