    It's worked well for me in the past. No stop leak will stop all leaks, but's stopped most for me and substantially slowed down others. Of course fixing the cause such as worn gaskets is best, but that can be quite costly for some cars.

    I have an RV that blew out oil smoke every time that I started the generator. The generator only gets used once or twice a year but I try to stat it up every month for a few minutes. I tried Lucas and ran the generator twice for about 15 or 20 minutes. It didn't seem to do much at first. I ran it again and forgot that it was running, it ran for about 4 hours. I started it up today, Lucas stop leak has been in the engine for a month now, not a single puff of oil smoke came out on start up. This is great stuff I would recommend it to anyone that thinks that their value seals are leaking.

    If you have a Valve Cover leak i Recommend you Tighten up the Cover it Will stop the Leak, but if the leak comes back You should change the Valve Cover Seal 😊

    I have a leak that I believe is the rear main seal on a 1997 Chevy C1500 with 350. Put some of this in yesterday so we'll see how it does.
    update: Sorry for not updating sooner! It's still leaking. I may pull the cover off and make sure the rear main seal is the issue an a few weeks when my wife's out of town and I can take it off the road a few days. In the mean time I'm going to try some AT-205 since I can find some now. It's kinda what I wanted to use in the first place but no one had any until recently.

I told her I was putting it in but haven't gotten any feed back from her. I'll make an effort to check it out and ask her as see how it's working and let you know.

    I used it in my 06 Subaru Impreza. Very small leak that the drops didn’t make it to the floor, just the exhaust so it smelled! Stopped the leak in 1 hour of driving but the leak came back a week later. Will try again with the next oil change….

    BEST Cheap oil leak fix: Add Dot 3 brake fluid to oil anytime you have a seal leak(not gasket unless it is rubber). 15-20 drops per 5 quarts. Run for a few days, no more oil leaks.

  • @BryanG830
    @BryanG830 Рік тому

    No it doesn't work. It slows down the leak but doesn't actually stop it. I'd rather spend $50 to $100 on the part and then fix it myself. Then to spend, $15 on some bullshit that don't work. $100 is less than $15. Tell me I'm wrong. Cuz that only slows it down which still isn't good for the engine cuz it's still leaks causing engine problems. And then that $15 fix ended up being $2,500 repair. So $15 is more than $100. It's better to buy the part and just to fix the issue then to buy some BS that don't even work half the time.
