I had a severe oil leak from my truck's factory oil cooler. I would lose a quart in about 30 minutes. It was so bad that I lost oil pressure and my oil pressure gauge would bounce around. So, I would always keep it overfull knowing I'm constantly losing oil. Decided to try this Lucas additive. I start driving back home & sure enough my oil pressure gauge was still bouncing everywhere. I get home & there's oil everywhere. Parked it for the night, gave up on it. Next day I drive it to take my dad somewhere & realize my oil pressure was stable. I get home, look underneath & everything is dry. 2 months later, still no more oil leaks. Oil is a quart overfull though, because nolonger losing oil.

I have to say when you’re pouring in the Lucas the motor needs to be warm because otherwise it just drops him all the way down to the pan on the bottom and it’s not being used proper that’s my experience I’ve been working on cars ever since I was 14 I’m 63 and the other videos will tell you warm up the car driving around with a quart less you’re not gonna hurt it just warming it up then you put and while it’s running and keep it running for about 5 Minutes nine out of 10 you’ll have better results

Don't forget how well this product will work depends in large part on how bad the leak is. And a very bad leak that really needs to be repaired this product probably won't work very well. But on Lesser leaks and minor leaks it works much better.

My theory STOP N GO cause more leaks is that you have changing pressure from 0 to more pressure. And it just pushes oils more. Where as on highway you are already experiencing steady pressure as the engine runs at a non changing oil pressure mode … or at least it’s a more steady pressure as opposed to stop and go .

gr8 vid, have you tried at-205 reseal?
also check the PCV valve, if its in need of replacement it can be a contrib factor to a oil leak and oil consumption.
I replaced PCV valve on my honda odyssey and it went from burning 2-3 qts ever 3k to maybe 1qt.
it had had a oil leak from valve cover that was fixed. and it has over 200K miles.
on a nissan maxima with rear main seal leak , the at205 helped and pcv valve replacement helped but still leaking some. I stumbled on this video when looking to see how lucus stop leak works

Hello, I'm a Subscriber from Indonesia, I want to consult about the oil leak/seepage of the crankshaft seal of my car (Isuzu Diesel C 190).
What I want to ask is the following:
    1. Does the LUCAS product really work like the case in my car?
2 Does the LUCAS product not harm other components in the machine that are currently working normally? Because I'm very interested in trying it, but I got input from several car repair shops in Indonesia so I don't use it because I'm afraid it can add to problems in other components.

    • @cgrscott

@@adrientheproblembroner9624 People use Lucas Engine Oil Stop Leak to avoid paying $2,000 to have an old near-end-of-life engine torn apart to have the main seals replaced. Servicing an oil cooler housing, or replacing it, might be a more affordable repair to stop the leak but, you can try Lucas Engine Oil Stop Leak and see what happens. It's best to poor it in with a fresh oil change, with one quart less new oil to make room for one quart of Lucas Stop Leak. But, having your oil cooler housing serviced or replaced, to stop the leak, might be the best path.

Lucas failed here. With an engine leaking that much oil, oil changes are not required. Just change the filter at the interval and keep topping up the oil. Its just going to leak out, so it wont be in the engine long enough to get used for 10k miles. Or you could always advise that the vehicle is repaired with a new gasket.

Before watching this video, I watched the one where you used Blue Devil, which I'm about to try. About 3 months ago, I used the Lucas Oil stop leak. Which, as with this video, did help. I plan to change both valve covers on my 5.3 engine, which should help. My rear main seal leak is the biggest culprit, though, so I'm trying Blue Devil next. Thanks for the videos!
