It's hard to see my old man cry and depressed.
Its been a tough time, My dad passed away having a hard time fighting his stage 4 cancer and other Illness, i always remember all his music and i have foune his flashdrive and i hear this song for the first time after his death, Like dang i missed him so much.
He is 67 when he passed this april 19, 2024 and i'm only 21.
Now he's in the other life, I hope he remembers how much i love him it's been a hard time seeing him suffering and crying because of how much he wants to spend more time with us.
It's hard to see my old man cry and depressed.
The only time I see him smile genuinely is when;
Me, my brother and sister visits him in the hospital before his chemotherapy that fastens his life.
My mom passed away on march 8th at 9:27 p.m. today i thought my Feelings were going better but i was wrong. I live with my dad who is also 91 and when i think about that one day i will be alone on this Planet......it takes me realy down
I hope this can make you a bit hopeful, this life is but a small skip in our lives in eternity, this life can be hard and sad, but remember this life is not the end, when our time is done here we will all be reunited. ❤ whoever you are, I love you, and I know I'm not the only one.
Thank you. What you said is so true. You said it all with a beautiful heart I hope it has helped. My dad passed when I was 10 he was 48. I lost my mom I was 32 she was 63. Now I'm 64 and been sick. I could sure use prayers. Thanks again just to know there are people like you has im sure made her or him feel better. I also care
Just keep strong don't give up,God is with you always and your mother keep watching you even she's not in your side
No worries friend. God is with us always. Ask him to remind you, he will. I lost my parents almost 15 years ago and I still miss them. But I remind myself that it won't be long that we'll all be together eventually.

I close my eyes and I am back with my husband and he is still alive and we are happy in the yard listening to the radio smiling sitting on the porch talking . Brings tears to my eyes . Oh how I miss him . Thank you Neil for helping me enjoy him once more .

Young authored and recorded “Heart of Gold” in 1971… in just two takes. And at his behest, James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt provided backing vocals on the track (they don’t come in until the end though).
In the liner notes to his “Decade” collection (1977), the Canadian born musician stated : “This song put me in the middle of the road. Travelling there soon became a bore, so I headed for the ditch.” He later clarified : “I think “Harvest” is probably the finest record I’ve made.”
