Took the Play to a jam...very enjoyable with one exception. No tap tempo. Other than that no complaints.
I just installed a mobile app on my phone for that. I tap tempo in it, then set tempo on the Play accordingly. No big deal to me.
Hope your dog Lucy is feeling better Benn! Rubbish when they are unwell.
