I listened to Lars for about an hour at the Florida Audio Expo. He can talk about the design of anything all day and will answer all questions. Super guy.

Great one Greg! Love seeing things being made. Now talk to the boys Damon and Leif about doing one on the VSA facility.

Such a diminished noise floor with the electronics..... Whether the Tesla coils.. or something else.. Come to that even the combination of the whole! ... Its astonishing..
Eagerly await the next instalment... Thanks for documenting the tour Greg... I appreciate the content. 👍🏻

You've hit on something that is VERY apparent when listening to any Aavik/Ansuz/Børresen gear. There is a starkness behind everything allowing the musical construct to emanate from the blackest of backgrounds... I'm looking forward to getting these products in house and hearing them with other known products...

This is a terrific tour, thank you! Will you be reporting on the Forte 1?

    • @theaudioanalyst

Hello again... Probably NOT the Forte 1... Lars has indicated he would like me to audition and review the Forte 3, along with the X2 loudspeakers... I've NO idea when that will come to be, but I'm looking forward to it.

@theaudioanalyst Thank you for getting back to me. Again, I really enjoyed watching the factory tour with you and Lars. Due to back problems, I am no longer able to move heavy equipment (there are probably many other audiophiles with the same issue). So, I am now very interested in an all-in-one solution. I am looking at the Axxess line, as well as the Daniel Hertz Maria integrated amplifier. I am hoping more reviewers of your caliber will be looking into this new generation of equipment soon. There's not a lot of reviews on these out there at the moment. Have a great day!

@@scottbennett3119 My pleasure. As you note, this is fast becoming an IMPORTANT and growing category of product. To be honest, while I have not heard, nor have any reports from any ears I trust on, the Daniel Hertz Integrateds and speakers, I am VERY curious, and a bit suspect of the pricing...which seems a bit on the high side to me at this point. Again, I have to acknowledge that without hearing them, I have NO idea how they actually sound, so this is just my informed speculation.

@@theaudioanalyst Thanks for your thoughts on this. I know of no better judge of high-end high-performance audio than you, so I will stand by and wait until some of this new equipment gets into your hands for review. Thanks again

@@theaudioanalystwell, the vikings had a lot of project in britain, also as traders, and giving name to "York" which is coming from the norøne nameform, Jorvik. So, never say never...🙂

Hello... May I suggest that you look at my written report on the litany of technologies AGD is employing where I delve into the each a bit deeper? That article is here... www.enjoythemusic.com/magazine/manufacture/0323/Visiting_Audio_Group_Denmark.htm Please scroll down to the 9th breakout heading, "Inverted Tesla Coils," and have a look at that information. Hopefully that will give you some sense of why they are employed and what they are attempting to accomplish.
You may also see more scrolling down this Avik D-580 page (audiogroupdenmark.com/product/aavik-d-580/) to see their explanation of the differing types of inverted Tesla Coils they implement.
