What is ‘On Trigger‘? Trigger for pedal.
Electronic detachable sensor for various types of both single and double pedals. It tracks the motion of a pedal, unlike regularly available models, which in most cases track motion of a membrane. Thanks to this feature, it can transmit the signal slightly before the beater’s impact, and thus fairly eliminates delay of the module. Setting up the electronic module is easier. There is no need to adjust membrane tuning, use a sand membrane or a membrane muted in any other way, nor stuff your bass drum with anything (as with standard triggers) and thus unnecessarily spoil the sound of your bass drum. It is also applicable to any kind of practice drum pad. Another advantage is, that it improves the ability to combine live sound with the module or a computer one. Even in higher speeds, the sounds match, what is also problematic with usual triggers, especially when applying a double bass pedal on a single drum.
After installing on a single or double pedal as instructed, you can use the sensors on any pad or bass drum. Setting to another drum is done in seconds and usually it's not needed. The triggers will easily handle a differently tuned membrane, a differently shaped rim or somehow tilted bass drum. This is exactly the problem with the standard trigger. When you install the trigger on a another drum, you'll usually find out, that you need to adjust the settings in the module, tune the membrane, or mute the bass drum somehow.

Elektronický odnímatelný snímač pro více druhů single i double basových pedálů. Vhodnějším způsobem snímá pohyb přímo pedálu na rozdíl od existujících modelů, které většinou snímají pohyb blány. Díky této vlastnosti může vysílat signál o něco dříve před dopadem beatru a díky tomu lehce eliminuje zpoždění modulu. Nastavení na el. modulu je jednodušší, není třeba nijak
upravovat napnutí blány, kupovat pískovanou či jinak tlumenou blánu, ani vycpávat čímkoli basový buben (jako u standardních triggerů) a kazit si tak zbytečně zvuk svého kopáku. Lze jej také použít k jakémukoliv tréninkovému bicímu padu. Další výhodou je, že můžete lépe kombinovat živý zvuk se zvukem z modulu či počítače. Zvuky lépe sedí na sobě i ve vyšších rychlostech, což je také většinou u triggerů problém, hlavně při hře dvojšlapkou na jeden kopák.
Po instalaci na šlapku, nebo dvojšlapku dle návodu, můžete snímače používat na jakýkoliv pad či kopák. Nastavení na jiný buben je v řádu vteřin a většinou ani není potřeba. Triggery si bez problémů poradí s jinak nalazeným kopákem, odlišně tvarovaným ráfkem, nebo jinak nakloněným basovým bubnem.Zde přesně nastává problém u standardních triggerů, kdy trigger připnete na cizí kopák a většinou zjistíte, že budete muset upravovat nastavení v modulu, přeladit blánu, nebo kopák nějak zatlumit. Pokud jste také na koncertech nuceni používat cizí bicí a přesto chcete mít zvuk blížící se studiovým nahrávkám, naše snímače Vám opravdu usnadní život.

Ciao guys. Where do I get the metal plate that is attached to the pedal board from above? I didn’t get this with my Gen3 triggers and I use the same speed cobra.
Do they help spring the pedals back up?
This is very individual. Theoretically, you could say yes. But Tama's cobra coil works differently. We generally recommend attaching the trigger next to the cobra coil.
Hi Ontrigger, where can I get the piece in the video at 0:14 that screws onto the pedal board?
I have this pedal and Ontriggers and can’t get them working yet, but I realise I just have the pedal board going directly onto the trigger, I don’t have that bit. Is that part essential to make them work?

I’m interested for the answer to this. I also have the triggers without the little plate that they are attaching to the pedal board above the trigger.
Is it possible to attach it where the cobra coil is located instead of using the glue? (with a screw)
