Seems like you could make a couple improvements to ease your assembly. Such as making the black powder tube caps different. Have one that has a full length tube and one without a tube. That way you aren't forcing your tube down into the powder. I would also suggest using superglue for assembly of the projectile rather than hot glue. Super glue holds up much better in my 40mm projectiles and doesn't make a big mess.
Yes I actually was going to fill the small tube with flash kno3/al sulfur/powder and it should have been the full length of the charge not trying to meet halfway. Small details like this are easy to overlook until you actually try to assemble the round. I had planned to make this exact change. I also plan to modify the tail and warhead to incorporate small holes around the mating surfaces and utilizing a two part epoxy instead of hot glue. These small changes are always happening and the rounds just keep getting better and better.
I also will incorporate a fuse based arming system, rocket exhaust lights fuse which blocks hammer ball until it burns away. I don't want these to be able to explode if dropped once armed ..
@@moldybread6720 I mean technically even with the files.... You can't build a valid rocket because you also need a license for the motors the heat rounds utilize. The HE rounds are much lighter though and the small 24mm motors are just enough for them to fly straight as you could see in the video
Coool man good video
Great work 🎉
Thanks Jonathan
Do you upload anywhere else beside UA-cam - like Odysee?
You dont need to excuse yourself, the vids are interesting to watch 👌🏻
Thanks
C1 should be the primary explosive
And ammonium nitrate should be the fuse ignition.
Jacob of Ordnance Lab is the explosives guy. They make it and arm our warheads at their facility. It's up to him what we put inside.
Nice choice of caliber
Murica !
I was under the impression that spin stabilizing a HEAT warhead would decrease it's penetration.
This particular variant is H.E. not HEAT. So it's not made to penetrate, just burst on a target.
@@DandSCreations yep, I missed that part. Thanks

I thought you weren't gonna release the files? Why are you making a tutorial then, unless.... you are gonna release them...
They may be released at a later date.
I hope so. coolest firework launcher I can think of
@@aringendmatt yeah watch the other videos it's not a firework launcher.
But i mean if you don't have access to he you are prob just gonna use it as a firework launcher

Whats the paste you dipped the wires in? Ratio?
Boron, Potassium Nitrate, viton rubber dissolved in acetone. Sold as quick burst procast.
Al gore has no rhythm!
It's been hard to get views that's for sure
