The WLToys stuff is surprisingly good. They have a lot of aftermarket parts/upgrades too. I have a brushless 144001 and it is intense in FPV. The K989 is great for indoor fun too.
I like the aluminum parts on this car WLToys makes some decent rc cars. I like to see an rc vehicle review once in awhile, that's what got me started way back when.

I think it's more because all the cinewhoops that are coming out are basically the same so it's getting monotonous.
@@AlbertKimTV haha true! I kinda lost the joy in fpv.. i only do it for money nowadays which is pretty sad. The only build which keeps me coming back to joy flying is the tinywhoops. It was always the tinywhoops which brought me the most fun

I have a similar WLToys car. It is fun. Then I added the DJI FPV to it - pretty bumpy but still fun. Now I've taken it apart to try to add a flight controller running iNav + GPS to see if I can make it do autonomous missions.

Ridiculously fast Albert. Almost uncontrollable. I like it! Would need a bag of spare parts to keep it going long term with the crash potential. If you not crashing... you're not going fast enough. Thanks for the fun review!

Nice, not used to seeing you doing ground vehicles.... I myself for whatever reason have gravitated back to ground rc, still flying but not nearly as much. Think I needed a break :).
really those models in 1:10/12 scale starts to be fun with a BL moror :) FPV with such car is also pretty interesting and feeling of speed - as You are much closer to ground is nice

Hi Albert, I just got one of these for testing and hit it front on against a kerb to at speed but it just mounted it and just carried on going :) it took some serious bashing on a bmx track to!, must have had stronger wheel axles on mine lol, very impressive rc buggy this one definitely a big step up from the 12428, greets TJ.

Can u please put (digital fpv) on it and do some longrange with it with a gopro on top of it. I want to see if the gopro can detect the vibrations from the ground
I have done this to a 1/18 AE, and had a backyard on rod track. It is fun but harder than you think, because of the camera angle. Ideally you would want the camera sitting higher on your car, but this affects car handling. Wheeling the car from a drivers point of view is fun and challenging, turn come up quick. Gopro image is still a bit shakey when recording on an RC Car, UA-cam has some of those vids.
I've done the GoPro things before on my channel. Yes, the vibrations come through like crazy. You'll need to mount it on some dampeners.
This needs a caddx vista on it :-)

Those are for steering and throttle trim and rates. Steering trim keeps the car centered when you're not steering. Throttle trim is for forward and backwards adjustment in case it is moving on of those directions when you're not giving it any input.

Those tires would do better on the dirt.looks like it could use a gyro
What would a gyro do?
Will help keep it in a straight line, especially when full throttle and when you lose traction it really helps on loose or slippery surfaces.
@@AlbertKimTV get a reciever we with a gyro built in. It will help keep the car straight when its starts to lose traction but it also limits the steering but its adjustable

@@ValFPV that is true and I guess you could upgrade the parts anyway. It is quick though by the looks of it.
Ouch, broken C Hub.. Durability question was answered. Those hole shot imitation type (mini spike) tires are good for packed clay. Nothing really works for loose sand. On asphalt those ties have little traction like your vid. The WLToys smaller RC cars like 1/18th scale rally / onroad are alot stronger. Burnnnnn Rubberrrr!!!! PS. It looks to be a 12th scale (1/12 scale Axial Yeti clone )
I found all the little exploded parts and used welders to glue it back together. Not sure how long that will last but it's up and running again.
