Your theory is probably right. They probably tuned it that way for vibrations but made it look unflyable. Not a great decision IMO.
Unfortunate that they didn't do proper tuning on this one. Thanks for the honest review.

He's not a beginner unlike other reviewers out there.
Looks very horizontally heavy, the unstabalized video looked very unstable with the wind. Gteat note about the factory PID settings. Very different looking frame. O3 install does look finiky. No smoke awesome!!! Great review Albert 👍

Definitely looks like an issue with the stock PID tune. It shouldn't be thatttt bad lol curious if you're able to tune it if you go that route. Thanks for the review!
Are you sure those screws weren't imperial hex?
My guess for the tune is, because there wasn't any camera and air unit weight they didn't bother. But tuning is 30 minutes and a couple of batteries, no big deal. Send it to me if you don't got the time. 👍
Maybe those motors are just too small to handle all that weight up top?

Great review. Hard mounting the O3 camera 👎. Watched the un-stableized footage, oh boy that ain't fun to watch. Can't imagine flying it. But dang Gyroflow works great. Kudos to them. Happy flying everyone. 😎

Noob Q..is it just Vtx you risk damaging when powered up with no aerial?
That was the receiver antenna, not the VTX
@@jondonner3521Is there no risk to the receiver board ? question could have been worded better..as I have seen videos where the vtx gets burnt up after crash when the ufl gets disconnected and is unnoticed till it was too late.
You must be a noob... no risk of receiver burning up because it's not transmitting anything.
