Presumably, they can also alter the data, meaning that while it HAS been discovered, it will probably never show up that way in game because The Dark Wheel would scrub any records of its discovery out of COVAS and the Codex the instant anyone finds it. Second, the precursor to FSDs, the Hyperdrive, has unknown origins, but was supposedly able to jump across entire galaxies in certain cases. If Raxxla contains an intergalactic gateway, it may also be the source of the technology used in the first Hyperdrives. After the collapse of GalCop, we may never know, but this stands to reason given how GalCop wasn't otherwise known for their scientific prowess and is unlikely to have developed Hyperdrives all by themselves. Accordingly, the system containing Raxxla is probably somewhere in former GalCop space, which in turn means it's probably somewhere in Alliance space. Alternatively, it is possible that Hyperdrive tech - and thus Raxxla - was discovered by a GalCop member. Before Hyperdrives existed, FTL was prevalent, but also very slow, equivalent to supercruise now. This puts a hard limit on how far from the bubble anyone could've traveled in order to find Raxxla. I won't claim to do the math on this, but given the farthest generation ship in the game is still less than 1,000ly away from Sol, we're probably still talking somewhere inside the bubble, or at most no more than 2,000ly outside it. So Raxxla is almost certainly closer than we think. My guess? It doesn't show up on a FSS or DSS scan as anything special (because, remember, those scanners are given to us by the Pilot's Federation and thus subject to tampering by The Dark Wheel), so it's right under our noses, but someone will have to land and explore it manually to find it.
You've given me so many questions. I've probably put in close to 100 hours of Elite Dangerous and never really cared about the lore or history. Which is ironic due to the fact history in general is one of my interests/hobbies. But now that I've been able to amass a number of different ships and some cash I'm looking to dive deeper into the Elite "universe". Do you have any recommendations on where to read about "The Dark Wheel", Pilot Federation, etc?
I think that raxalla "exist" yet does not contain anything. It just exist by name and frontier have a vague idea what they want to do with it, but as usual they are scared of players rushing to it as soon as Something is actually put there because the real explorers, the data miners, will find it as soon as Something actually exist in that system
@@TheNeufin8tor Also, the wiki is good for this and the source of most of my information. elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Galactic_Cooperative will give you a good history of GalCop. The whole Hyperdrive thing, aside from its potential relevance to finding Raxxla, also gives the entire game this sort of "fallen empire" vibe and really casts everything in the game in a new light. I assume that most of the lore that's on the wiki comes from the original games, but I haven't played those.
I disagree with the fss being slower. Of course now we need to probe a planet to get all the locations in the Navy panel but now we can scan planets 300K Ls way faster than driving 20 min to get there to scan 1 or 2 bodies, then driving 600K Ls for the ones on the other side of the system.
We will have to first locate the dark wheel. They give us clues. 8th moon around a gas giant. Then the codex picture for the dark wheel shows that this gas giant must be orbiting either a T Tauri star or an M Class... according to this photo the star is either very close to the star or the star is VERY big. This is where I am at so far for evidence.
Would not be the first time they done that. I just don't understand what they are doing, just change all reward values of everything to be in line with deepcore mining levels of rewards, and organise a big power play contest or something. It is really not that hard to make a playerbase do something, but you gotta jump and make it happen.
Eh.. yeah start a rumor 36 years ago to distract people from the lack of content of a game that wasn't even a concept then.. that's thinking ahead... a bit much! Ppl have been searching for Raxxla since.. well... the first ever Elite. It's in a book that was bundled with the original game...
Maybe FD could create a Raxxla narrative characterised by long periods of complete silence, occasionally punctuated by a bugged puzzle that involves shooting or scanning a series of objects in a specific order. Then really ramp things up with a community event where you haul cargo or shoot things for a week.

Probably because it does not exist. Frontier have a history with saying something is there yet not coding it in, usually resulting in people just passing by "mysteries" simply because they don't exist yet or straight up crashing because frontier left "holes" in the generation because of them.
The ultimate McGuffin, a genius marketing move by Frontier, motivating thousand of players to look for something that is likely very different from the amazing celestial body/phenomenon it is imagined to be. If it even is there. Yet another perpetually unfulfilled promissory note.

Raxxla might be the name of the ship that shot them down. Or the race / culture of the people manning that ship. There are many theories, and searching for it is the fun of it. Remember this game is about the journey and sometimes the goal. Raxxla!
@@nonname1239 Might already be in game... Sounds nuts but its all procedural so it's not impossible to think they could have a second galaxy (Probably smaller than ours) already in the assets. I mean your game file client side would probably gain in size to store the new data once discovered but really though its all doable through instances. Considering we wouldnt be able to use a Galaxy map. Why no galaxy map? We're new here, it took humans 1000s of years to completely map our galaxy. Showing up at a new one we'd be blind. So it would make it super easy for the game engine to just generate nearby stars in your navigation panel. So Raxxla could very well be a portal to another galaxy. Its doable.
@@HalNordmann interesting! I wonder if they link up for a jump path somewhere? There's a old video of someone back when the game first had its horizons release. This guy got about 17,000 light years above the galactic plane. He used pulsars. Maybe thats why theyre there? His videos on UA-cam here just search "17000 lights years above the galactic plane"
I went back and watched the interview where it was mentioned. They did NOT say "it's discoverable." They said "Yes, it's in the game, and we know where it is." That's it. There are many places in the galaxy (and even some outside the galaxy according to a database I saw) that people know exist but cannot visit. Polaris is one example: requires a permit to enter, no way to earn the permit, and cannot get there by supercruise (it just doesn't load when you get there).
Wouldnt it be really neat if raxxla held a 'jump gate' to somewhere else - what would also be neat is if they actually implemented the Tionisla Orbital Grave Yard, especially since it was mentioned in previous Galnet articles, speaking of which I think Cmdr Jameson is well over due to be interned there, until then I can only dream of being able to sneak in there and pinch a ship as part of some secret mission as inline with the original Dark Wheel Novella
Raxxla, is located deep with a hidden cave on Uranus. In this mystical world you can get out of your ship and walk around!! It's a magical place where the dark wheel of micro transactions spins around and awards those who find it a free paint pack every 3rd hour and a free ship kit every 99th hour. If you do happen to find this magical place deep within Uranus make sure you cherish your time there, it is said you are only allowed to stay for 2hrs and 59 minutes. It is ancient legend though, if you are the"one" and you are allowed to stay indefinitely in Uranus you will get the 4th big 3!!! Oh bless the fortunate soul that finds the dark cave hole through the gasses of Uranus! Raxxla!! Raxxla!! RAXXLA!! REMEMBER RAXXLA!!! EEEEEYYYYIIIIII!!!!
The Codex entry for Raxxla is weirdly worded, which makes me think there might be some code embedded in the text. There are a number of strange word choices, like using the German word "fernweh" for "wanderlust" instead of just saying "wanderlust", which actually sounds way more eloquent in English than the German counterpart. Other words are a bit weird too, given the context. One example is the use of the word "attestation", which has a meaning associated with providing proof, which the context clearly doesn't support.
lovely video, I have a different opinion about it though... if it's real it's a part of the game which has to be discovered. I love exploring, and this is somehow the holy grail of Elite to me...
You know how it is with this sort of space stuff, it’s either a planet destroying weapon or a wormhole generator or some sort of really powerful ship or an ancient race of aliens. If it’s some form of instantaneous travel it could be interesting to see how it affects gameplay.
It states in the lore that only an “elite” commander can find raxxla. The only system in game unlocked by “Elite” is Shinrarta Dhezra. Also happens to be where the dark wheel set up shop. It fits. As Shinrarta is within a reasonable distance to the original elite games starting systems eg. Lave. I’ve searched Shinrarta. Obv. Nothing. But logic would dictate it should be there.
If Raxxla is an actual location that can be discovered, it had better be something more than just an empty planetoid with a datapoint. I think it would be cool (though unlikely to happen) if Raxxla actually introduced a new game mechanic upon its discovery. Think like a teleporter to the opposite side of the galaxy (just a thought!), or somewhere else e.g. the LMC. Also a reward for whoever discovers it would be cool. Id go hunting for a 100 billion 😂
What if raxla is exactly that, a state of revelation, the revelation that the universe that you explore in the game, is raxla, as in it's a meta thing, the game itself, is raxla, a gateway to infinite world's, etc etc, the game itself fits all those descriptors of raxla.
I bet it's realy something like "It is the experience of playing elite dangerous, finding new friends, meeting new people and growing your mind!!!". Because everything else would be disappointing, like a real place. It has to be something extraordinary like let's say a Dyson Sphere or similar. But such stuff doesn't exist as secret, no. That won't be FD. Just a Moon with the name Raxxla is more like FD...
The problem with Raxxla is that Elite has had "mysteries" in the game before and claimed they were discoverable or available and they were in fact not, because of bugs. One can never be sure that Raxxla isn't one of these things.
I'm pretty sure in the manual for the original Elite, it said there is 8 galaxies. I imagine Raxxla could be to Elite Dangerous what Abbadon's Gate is in The Expanse. Gateways to other galaxies.
Honestly, if it is a ship, considering the logo, the hexagon might actually be a solar sail which is in an extended state. This technology would perfectly fit the time setting of early space exploration.
Per the original novel, raxxla was a planet that held gateways to other galaxies. I think 8 different galaxies if I remember, but dont quote me. It's so hard to find because it's a traveling planet. It resides in witch space and has like 7 or 8 places it pops out into regular space at. Again, this is all per the original 1984 novel, so how much of it translates into the current game, who knows?
So i can finally put out a hint. Raxxla has been visited by players throughout the years, but not by many. They have each been given a task(hence why Raxxla hasn't been revealed) but to find Raxxla you need to pierce the ”heart” and follow the shooting star to the swirling center.
Raxxla is the game. Raxxla is a portal to another universe Elite is a portal to another universe Raxxla has been in the game since release because it IS the game
The gnosis pissed me off as well. The new exploration and mining is fun. The mining on void opals is crazy good. I got a billion cr with a few trips from a hot spot. Worth it to go back and play, but ive already moved on since to different games lol although i have the latter 2020 year in the waaay back of my head😉😆👍
I have read the novel around mid to late 80's. Many things have changed in Elite Dangerous, but Raxxla is still present. Damn it would be nice to really find it, but Obsidian Ant *is* right. Some mysteries are better be undiscovered.
Well, we have 2 years to look. Maybe someone will find something like another thargoid map. Can't wait for someone to unlock all that new game play. Maybe there is a Wade Watt's amount the Elite player base. Do we have a CMD Parzival?
Most likely, Raxxla lies within Federation Space seeing as its myth has existed since before the empire. As an explorer, my instincts tell me that this cant be a system or even a stellar body as surely it would have been found by now. My instincts tell me that it has to be a ship. The Name Raxxla just screams ship to me. Maybe it's a lost mega ship, maybe it's a crashed transport, or maybe it's the name of the Captain or an explorer. Raxxla is Elite's Amelia Earhart. Ofcourse, if it's a ship, then it might be anywhere within the galaxy, not helpful. Maybe it shouldn't be found entirely, but maybe some interesting quests surrounding it would be welcomed. Its arguably one of the longest lasting mysteries in video games and fact that no one has ever found it just adds to its allure. Will we find a treasure beyond our wildest dreams? Or will we find a memorial to those who died waiting for rescue centuries ago? Would help if frontier put more clues in the game.
Being new to the game and still learning , kinda on the fence about Raxxla being found. If found and the discovery is not epic enough then could possibly end up being a big letdown, or if found and introduces major new mysteries and new game play could be just what the doctor ordered.Working on reading books in the Elite Dangerous Universe but still just a noob CMDR at the moment. Anyway just my thoughts on the subject. As always another great video from ObsidianAnt .o7
It’s been in since release (apparently), so it will probably be a massive anticlimax. Elite’s content is average at the best of times. I think we’re fdev do shine, is actually creating these myths and puzzles. The Formidine Rift storyline is a prime example of this.
I wonder if it's totally possible that a commander fly by the system once but didn't see any water worlds so they didn't do any detailed scans and moved on without realizing what was there.
If it were up to me, I'd make the Raxxla a base on some place without an atmosphere or a downed ship. The kind of things you can't see name of unless you were near it or scanned the planet/planetoid/moon it was in.
That would imply they haven't made new mysteries to solve already with or without our knowledge after older ones are found out. Look at the thargoid investigations when the barnacles first showed up, or the formidine rift.
@@francoisperreaulthistorica3904 That is my point, they tell the whole community that something mysteries somewhere in a galaxy of 400 BILLION starsystems, then all people just like the racing dogs start running around searching for it for months only to be revealed by FD because none could find it lol, and they keep doing that the whole time!
I think the only way to get to raxxla is to use the genosis as I think it’s in a system that you can’t jump to on an ordinary ship no matter how modified it is.
Ant, as far as I know, the comment on it being discoverable is incorrect. There is nothing official on this. In game? Yes, Drew confirms it to be the case but nothing about players being able to access it. Do you have a source?
They could do it.. but they have to make sure it moves afterwards. What's more important than spotting it, even getting video, is that the mystery is never explained. If someone actually found Raxxla, got video even, and then it just.. disappeared. Even better if absolutely strange unexplainable intermittent nonsense happens to the person who finds the missing gravity well of where it once was. Then, over the course of a few days, everything in that system just goes back to normal like nothing was ever there to begin with.
With its addition into the Codex, and FD saying next update is so big that it won't come until 2020 - I'm fairly certain that whatever Raxxla is, will be integral to the next narrative of the game, after the thargoid war. So I don't think it's actually discoverable at the moment. It might have been at some point, but when they got bigger plans for it (as the myth grew), and taking into consideration how quickly players have solved every other mystery - they removed it or locked it off. Even if the planet (or whatever it may be) is technically in the game, it doesn't have any special designation or anything special about it (yet), so it might even have been found. We just don't know it yet.
Maybe Raxxla is a portal to another galaxy with a hostile faction or entity that when the portal is activated allows the hostile entity through to our galaxy. At least I think its a cool concept
I'm slightly saddened by the fact that I didn't get into this game until several years after so much was going on, & now that I've started playing, Frontier seems to not be as interested in game lore. I'm loving the game nonetheless, & despite not having much faith that Raxxla really is in the game, I'm still wandering around out in the black, hoping to find something extraordinary.
the way you describe raxxla seems to me a bit like the vault in borderlands... mysterious but underwhelming. also, a little bit of mass effect, with alex ryder? just a coincidence? (remember the pathfinder update of NMS)

It’s odd that all the systems in the text from the dark wheel all exist as well as most of the systems from the original game. Whether it’s a nod to the original it it serves a purpose. Once I’m done at Colonia I’m heading to those systems on the way back to the bubble.
I partly hope Raxxla isn't a place that can be or will be found, it's the motivation for some explorers to head out into the void. I think it should indeed remain a mystery, at least for a while longer.
I don't know what Raxxla is. I was never able to find it in the original game. The only thing I know for certain is if I were to find it I am not sharing that knowledge. May other pilots enjoy solving the mystery on their own. Besides, what if Raxxla is a Thargoid word for freedom.
Has anyone considered that it isn't spelt "R A X X L A" but Racksla or Raksla? After all, a character said it, and despite how it is written, it may mean something else? Also, was it really an acronym of some kind? R.a.x.x.l.a? It is probably a code word. Two X, two A, one L, one R. L and A are star types, one of the highest and one of the lowest... If anyone can crack or decipher raxxla then who knows...
@Helios Sphere That would also be quite impressive to discover: an alien structure surrounding a star that generated an as of yet unknown energy or field (possible clue as to how the Thargoids can enter and exit Hyperspace, or "Witch-Space," at will?). But, as Obsidian and the lore has stated, it can be anything.
Whoever finds Raxxla will pass out in front of their computer and wake up in their cockpit.

I definitely loved this little read. Thank you for the information, and I do hope in time this and other clues will help us find this holy grail.
Maybe Raxxla was the friends we made along the way?
SHUT UP. REEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Edit: it's the ENEMIES we made along the way
maybe raxxla was inside you all along
If they find it, it's probably bugged :-)
Or, it's actually a bug.
The people who find it have their account deleted.
I swear I've actually found it and all it is, is just a normal Planet but I didn't get a chance to scan it.
11/10
or perhaps its not even there lol its just to fool the player base hahahaah
We will have to first locate the dark wheel. They give us clues. 8th moon around a gas giant. Then the codex picture for the dark wheel shows that this gas giant must be orbiting either a T Tauri star or an M Class... according to this photo the star is either very close to the star or the star is VERY big. This is where I am at so far for evidence.
The gas giant is very close to the star**
any updates?
@@isziahs5951 haven’t played in some time…
What if raxxla is just something made up by frontier to keep the players distracted for the lack/delayed content.
Would not be the first time they done that.
I just don't understand what they are doing, just change all reward values of everything to be in line with deepcore mining levels of rewards, and organise a big power play contest or something. It is really not that hard to make a playerbase do something, but you gotta jump and make it happen.
Nah they said players has been in the system raxxla is in but havent seen it
@@galileacarmona6254 proof? When and where did they say this? Who is they?
@@myrpatroll heard it from other 2 comments forgot who but they said the people who created the game said it
Eh.. yeah start a rumor 36 years ago to distract people from the lack of content of a game that wasn't even a concept then.. that's thinking ahead... a bit much!
Ppl have been searching for Raxxla since.. well... the first ever Elite. It's in a book that was bundled with the original game...
I love it when online games have lore that feels real.
no side quests, no objectives; just actual, hard, realistic myth and lore.
Maybe FD could create a Raxxla narrative characterised by long periods of complete silence, occasionally punctuated by a bugged puzzle that involves shooting or scanning a series of objects in a specific order. Then really ramp things up with a community event where you haul cargo or shoot things for a week.
oof
Harsh. But fair.
You forget that the answer would then be coded in modern Morse Code transmitted via radio waves.
So, is it just me, or does anyone else think Obsidian could make a fortune narrating audio books? I'm on board. Let's find a good booking agent and get him some well-paying work!
I'd listen to any audio book by ObsidianAnt. Wonder if he can get an insurance policy on his voice?
@@starlost8946 Yeah id buy the entire expanse series off him if he did it.
He could reread Reclamation and the other Elite Dangerous books. The actual voice, Toby Longworth, is horrible imo. Sounds like he is shouting to me all the time. Such a harsh and loud voice -.- Thats why I cannot listen to the books longer then ten minutes at a time :D So please @ObsidianAnt
do the Elite audio books again, please!
Obviously, not just you, but I for one really can't cope with the voice for more than a few minutes!
I imagine it'll be a moon or rocky planet, upon which sits a massive slate with alien writing on it, after a scramble to many different Thargoid and Guardian sites a cipher is eventually put together allowing for the translation of the writing.
Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down.....
Getting Rick Rolled by a Rick Astley song would absolutely be an LMAO moment! I'll be honest though, I wonder how many people would just up and rage quit, never playing Elite: Dangerous again if Frontier duped us like that with Raxxla's discovery?
@@benitoloco899 Honest to god? I hope this happens, not it being Raxxla actual, but just something some jackass of a commander setup to mess with people.
Found it! It had slid down behind the fridge, it's got some fluff on it but that'll brush off.
I would love it if we had more mysterious things in game. But they seem unsolvable at times. Like the thargoid star map.
;)
Thargoid star map? Are you talking about the signal that was decoded a few years ago?
@@Yeager123123 no the one that you activate inside of the bases
Probably because it does not exist. Frontier have a history with saying something is there yet not coding it in, usually resulting in people just passing by "mysteries" simply because they don't exist yet or straight up crashing because frontier left "holes" in the generation because of them.
Spidey Dmd Awesome! I’ll have to check it out
The ultimate McGuffin, a genius marketing move by Frontier, motivating thousand of players to look for something that is likely very different from the amazing celestial body/phenomenon it is imagined to be. If it even is there. Yet another perpetually unfulfilled promissory note.
"If it's an unremarkable moon, with maybe some text attached to a data node..."
Wait, what? Did somebody call me?
FD don’t know themselves. It’ll be like “Lost”. They’ll just bluff their way through ‘til it comes to the end, and come up with something rubbish that no one’s happy with.
Raxxla might be the name of the ship that shot them down. Or the race / culture of the people manning that ship. There are many theories, and searching for it is the fun of it. Remember this game is about the journey and sometimes the goal. Raxxla!
Raxxla may be a star gate through which thargs made it into our universe
@Jess Garcia new dlc 2025
Its doable.
@@RyanBacheldorFMX Somebody has apparently discovered that there are a few pulsars generated WAY off the galactic plane.
I thought the guy who got to the top of the galaxy was teleported there by fdev.
All this. Exactly. Thank you, and good fortune. o7 😎👍
You're onto something here.
lovely video, I have a different opinion about it though... if it's real it's a part of the game which has to be discovered.
I've been hunting raxxla for a year now. and I won't stop
Neither will I brother
BRÖTHER
Any info you xan share. Im in search as well
That's what FDev are counting on :D ah well, if it provides fun for you and money to them.... can't see anything wrong with that^^
It states in the lore that only an “elite” commander can find raxxla.
By the time frontier code a new feature thargoids will have burned the entire bubble and will be well on their way to colonia to finish the job.
What if raxla is exactly that, a state of revelation, the revelation that the universe that you explore in the game, is raxla, as in it's a meta thing, the game itself, is raxla, a gateway to infinite world's, etc etc, the game itself fits all those descriptors of raxla.
Raxxla is the final release of Star Citizen
I kinda hope it’s a portal to another galaxy where you’ll just be stranded
So when are you doing the audio book recording Mr Obsidian-luscious tones-Ant?
Or at least a COVAX
Honestly, if it is a ship, considering the logo, the hexagon might actually be a solar sail which is in an extended state. This technology would perfectly fit the time setting of early space exploration.
Per the original novel, raxxla was a planet that held gateways to other galaxies. I think 8 different galaxies if I remember, but dont quote me. It's so hard to find because it's a traveling planet. It resides in witch space and has like 7 or 8 places it pops out into regular space at. Again, this is all per the original 1984 novel, so how much of it translates into the current game, who knows?
If you find Raxxla you get a thargoid ship that can jump to any system, fly through witchspace like super cruse, hyperdicting other commanders.
Pardon me asking, but is 5:14 Betelgeuse perhaps and you're landing on Betelgeuse II ?
meh. Frontier cannot even be arsed to add the tionisla orbital graveyard so I doubt they have Raxxla despite what they say.
i disagree - it's better if it's found and that leads to the NEXT mystery
also, no mystery is impossible to solve, if you hire the right detective!
Raxxla is the permit back into the Pilots' Federation District.
Yo what graphics settings are you using? Yours looks so real and immersive.
So i can finally put out a hint. Raxxla has been visited by players throughout the years, but not by many. They have each been given a task(hence why Raxxla hasn't been revealed) but to find Raxxla you need to pierce the ”heart” and follow the shooting star to the swirling center.
SupremeBallen is this “heart” located in the heart and soul nebula??
don't answer if you saw raxxla with ur own eyes :-)
brandon cooper I’m jus tryna find that bih
where would one start looking for clues to Raxxla?
Its probably hiding behind one of those unknown permits..
It is. In NGC 3603
Aka the "Stellar Jewel Box."
hmm, with so, so many star systems in elite, how are we supposed to find it? I suppose someone did stumble across jaques station in the void though.
Jaques station was found by browsing the map looking for populated systems with the filters
they said players have been in the same system raxxla was in and just havent saw it
Raxxla is the game.
Raxxla is a portal to another universe
Elite is a portal to another universe
Raxxla has been in the game since release because it IS the game
You truly are an incredible narrator.
When someone discovers Raxxla they unlock the ability to walk around the interior of their ship
Pretty good video. Also could you make a new video of shaders and fx? Becaus i find difficult to mange with the mod
I haven't played since the Gnosis fiasco. Obsidian is the only person keeping my interest atm.
The game has since moved on a lot
@@user-lp7tx1fe6t remind me Gnosis fiasco?
The gnosis pissed me off as well. The new exploration and mining is fun. The mining on void opals is crazy good. I got a billion cr with a few trips from a hot spot. Worth it to go back and play, but ive already moved on since to different games lol although i have the latter 2020 year in the waaay back of my head😉😆👍
The gnosis is what happens when you try to sneak around the permit locks.
Raxxla will probably be something like a station that will have missions that will unlock the unknown permits.
I'm hoping Raxxla is a gateway that enables intergalactic travel. Perhaps a way to unlock access to the Andromeda galaxy.
It's at a place called Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrgghhhh...
How much you wanna bet Raxxla will just be a plain planet with a small structure that has a puzzle and all it does is give you engineer materials?
There are 3 systems on the list of in both games that have no population I’m 1:2 way across galaxy long way to go to scan 3 systems
they said players have been in the same system raxxla was in and just havent saw it
If it were up to me, I'd make the Raxxla a base on some place without an atmosphere or a downed ship. The kind of things you can't see name of unless you were near it or scanned the planet/planetoid/moon it was in.
This mystery sounds very intriguing!
Raxxla should NEVER be found because FD would loose one of their carrots in the game ... lol...
I mean the game is still great
@@southpaw5041 Oh yeah the space is great!
Should I get this game? My favourite movie is interstellar & I want a game that I can explore space. Just now too sure which one to get
Lol well I got it anyways
@@Juniperberry9 I enjoy how you came back and commented. How do you like the game?
Saying Raxxla is a cosmic state makes me think "what if the thargoids are involved"
the way you describe raxxla seems to me a bit like the vault in borderlands... mysterious but underwhelming.
also, a little bit of mass effect, with alex ryder? just a coincidence? (remember the pathfinder update of NMS)
Have you tried searching Raxxla in the games galaxy map? I did and found it

Not as it makes a hill of beans to CMDR Broome, and the Skytanix. I'll have to get around to taking the old girl out again sometime soon.
It’s odd that all the systems in the text from the dark wheel all exist as well as most of the systems from the original game. Whether it’s a nod to the original it it serves a purpose. Once I’m done at Colonia I’m heading to those systems on the way back to the bubble.

The only question is.............will this game ever be worth picking up again.
Yes
alex ryder, a character named cora, i feel like someone in the bioware team that made andromeda took those names from this game
maybe its not about finding Raxxla, but about the Pilots that vanished along the way looking for it?
I partly hope Raxxla isn't a place that can be or will be found, it's the motivation for some explorers to head out into the void.
I think it should indeed remain a mystery, at least for a while longer.
One of the content creators says he knows where it is but he's not telling anyone because he wants to discover it himself but he doesn't feel like it.
The galaxy is a plate, balanced on the back of a turtle.
The turtle's name is Raxxla.
I heard Raxxla is an unlockable Death Star. But twice as big.
My question: When did the interview about raxxla happen? ... Where people at Sagitarius A* at that time already?
Find the moon called Raxxla.
Descend to surface.
Find a giant 200ft statue of David Braben.
Yes.
Maybe Raxxla is a ringworld. A paradise.
I don't know what Raxxla is. I was never able to find it in the original game. The only thing I know for certain is if I were to find it I am not sharing that knowledge. May other pilots enjoy solving the mystery on their own. Besides, what if Raxxla is a Thargoid word for freedom.
I was thinkinng the same. Find it take a photo as proof. And provide no details lol
Maybe someone ran raxxla through the clothes dryer and it disappeared along with my fkng socks....
great video
its a permit lcoked system, lets be real here
I hope is some kind of huge alien dyson sphere and that we can land on its surface.
Dyson spheres don't have a surface though...
