Let your comrades be attacked by your helicopters? 1:46~2:14 It's so tragic! so tragic! Not killed by the enemy but by their army! 2:39 Another tragic attack, what a terrible price these brave men have paid to take down this hill. It's a awesome video mate! Thank you for uploading and looking forward to your new videos!
One of my favorite war movies. Gritty, realistic, and brutally honest about the savagery displayed on both sides. I will never forget that grunt that came from deep in the shot soldier's gut at 1:23. Hauntingly sad yet tremendously erotic at the same time. This movie could just as easily been called Hamburger HELL.

Good movie. One of the phew Vietnam movies to show the SKS for the NVA side (we were soldiers too). Although the SKS was invented in WW2, really gained its reputation in Vietnam and other South East Asia conflicts. Outdated in this time period but rugged, reliable, combat accurate, and shoots the potinent 7.62X39
Oddly enough, I've seen PAVN soldiers using SKS rifles in We Were Soldiers but I've never seen a single guy fire one. (The Indochina War scene doesn't count because the Viet Minh never used SKS rifles lol)
The Friendly Fire was the worst bit of it.

Thank you very much for the excellent description!!!!
The background music totally sounds like it could be music from a Nintendo 64 game.
I was supporting artillery for this battle, 2/319th artillery, from May 10 - 19.
A big massacre.
Indeed. A lot of action in this movei.
@@shotstrangledstabbed The action wish pushes man beyond his limits.
The fact the chopper mowed all them down in that instance I would've lost it and tried to shoot that thing myself.

Indeed is Hell a better definition for this.
@@shotstrangledstabbed Hell in reality, but HEAVEN if you get to play it in a movie.
"...tremendously erotic..."?
Whatever flips ya switch, I suppose.
@@THE-BUNKEN-DRUM Exactly... isn't that the purpose of this discussion?
@@thesixshooter6506: Personally, I was looking to be enlightened. But hey...fuk it, I'll take being aroused instead. 😉
The friendly fire scene is unbearable
Do you know about the movie PLATOON 1986
I do. But I don't have that movie. Otherwise it would be a perfect candidate for some editing.
History repeats itself.
1:52 Who plays that guy on the right yelling “No!”
Sorry, I have no clue.
Thank you so much for listening to me:)
It might take some time 😀Thank you for suggesting this movie!
@@shotstrangledstabbed Also another movie: Commando Squad/Mission Africa which has TONS of German guys killed!
@@tanktank3874 Is that Mission Africa from 1968? There are more movies with that name.
@@shotstrangledstabbed Yes absolutely yes 🙌 It's with Chuck Alford!!
@@tanktank3874 Too bad I can't find a good quality version of this movie 😞
Every decade.
