It’s always best to go into salon with your natural curls. Especially with a stylist that does wet cutting so she can pull down clumps and check the spring back so see can tell how much NOT to cut off. I do not live in a area with certified curly cut stylists so I wash, condition, and style before going to my appointment but thankfully I have found a stylist that does amazing on my hair even though she wet cuts. She knew about curly hair, the spring back factor, etc. She is so professional that she keeps a client hair journal. Writes down everything she does.
Wow, what perfect timing - I'm going for my very first curly cut in about 2 weeks and I'm nervous as all hell, so this definitely helps! Your curls are STUNNING!
My last hair cut the stylist from a traditional salon (happened yesterday) did ask if I was okay if she straightened it and asked if I would be interested in layers because one of the reasons for the hair cut and the length taken off was the weight of my hair. I loved that she asked before touching any hot tool and she asked about layers and asked how I wear my hair and listened when I explained that when shorter I prefer my hair down but as it gets longer I wear it up more. I got long layers and said yes to getting my hair straightened as I do straighten it sometimes would prefer that extra step taken for everything to be even especially as I wanted shorter hair.
Thanks for explaining the details of your curly cut experience! I have my first curly cut by a Rëzo specialist next Thursday & this helps me mentally "prepare" for it. 💜
Your haircut looks amazing. And... Cedar Knolls? That's practically right up the road from here, so hi, neighbor (grin). (Not stalking, I promise, but I AM making a note of the stylist for future reference.) And yeah, we lost power for a few days, too.
I know hair types are different and have different needs, however, I still prefer you list what products you use in your hair and what your stylist used so I have options of something else to try.
For a curly cut, should I go to the salon with my hair already styled so she sees my hair curly? Usually I go after two days with my hair up in a clip so it doesn't have much curl at all.
Love your videos! Would you be able to share what salon you used to go to in Manhattan? I live in Manhattan and started my CG journey back in the beginning of this pandemic. I still haven't gotten a curly haircut since I am having trouble trusting a hairdresser without anyone's recommendation. Any info you can give me regarding Manhattan locations would be very helpful, thank you!
Depends on the stylist! Some ask for product free hair. I like to go in with my hair how it’s regularly styled but since my hair will be washed during the cut that’s typically day 2 or 3 hair

Your hair is beautiful- before and after the cut! 💛

Beautiful results! I was expecting big chunky bangs with the Rëzo cut. She gave you great shape without the bangs.

Your hair is gorgeous. Thanks for putting together such a helpful vid that will help me prepare for my hair appointment.
Your hair ismy inspiration :~). I'm about to have my first cut since March 22. Thank you for all the amazing tips!
I love your makeup and your curls. Always on point!
Great video- loved all the info. Your cut looks so good-your curls are really popping.😍
Loved your haircut can’t wait to get my rezo cut

I am so happy to have seen this video. Thank you.
Looks Beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
I can’t find anyone who does curly cuts around me.

Do you have relatively high porosity hair? I can't imagine being able to diffuse my hair from soaking wet without soaking up any moisture, ever.

If you get a curly cut do you go in with your hair how you regularly style it or is it best to go in with product free hair?

Oh no! Her IG says not taking new guests. :(
I did the product free cut and it was the worse cut I ever had. The stylist didnt listen to anything I said and just killed my curl formation.
I’m down at the beach! Is it crazy to drive an hour north and an hour back to get a haircut?!
Nope! If that’s what you really want to do.
If the person is worth it go!!
I go to Hannah too! She's amazing ❤️
I have such curl envy! I love your hair! 🥰🥰 my hair is so darn frizzy these days! I am giving up! Idk what to do anymore!
Check my protein moisture balance vid if you haven’t already - that usually helps! 💗
I LOVE your videos 🤩🤩🤩 from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
That stylist sounds amazing. Can we clone her?
A cut costs $100 in USA?????
