I have been struggling forever with one side of my nostril being stuffed up. I have tried countless remedies with doctor visits and steroid based nasal sprays. So I tried Li's suggestion of closing my mouth and correct breathing and it works every time!
On Wednesday i was with your team for the "Start with WHY" workshop and yesterday you released this amazing, inspiring and truth-filled episode. The timing couldn't have been more perfect, almost as if the universe aligned this release with our launch of the VUCA Simulation retreat and the Zero Gravity Soft Skills Training Experience. Thank you for bringing this episode in life as it motivated us so much to keep NOT to listen what others say about our concept.
Regarding the intro summary on courage, staying calm under stress is often just habituation. Habituation being repeated exposure which can be accompanied by training and coping tools and functional skills. Courage, well many iterations of that, but I personally think that would be doing something with the absolute presence of fears... and in spite of them, and must have jeopardy to the person. Doing a courageous act doesn't mean one will be calm doing it. calm isnt courage.
Thank you for interesting conversation. My favorite documentary about freediving is 'Dolphin Man' and complex relations to that experience explained by Jacques Mayol: - What's it feel like when you dive? - It's a feeling of slipping without falling. "There's something about the water - that solitary kind of peaceful feeling. You're on Earth but not quite." John C. Reilly
Hahahaha dear god, please, pleease don't take this is as a lesson or anything. This is "american dumb" as david goggins (aka the subjective mind cancer derived from "hustle culture"). Don't Die. Self-actualize. Maintain Constancy. That's a better way of living, loving and inspiring then free soloing, base jumping or any other silly pursuit. Much Love. Light ✌🏼 Peace
This breathing for stress management should be taught from kindergarten through high school, seriously!

I thought human amphibians were a some kind of a tale but this woman is a living proof that such humans exist. She is a magical human being.
