I had one of those moments."Monster" My Philodendron selleom was 18? years old and I suddenly almost lost it for unknown reasons. It was outside and suddenly started to decline.Smelled like cat eurine so we think our outside cat was using it to mark territory. Anyway, saved some offshoots of which one grew and in 2 years I had a chair sized plant again. It was like a piece of furniture that had its own spot in the room.Last year we got a puppy who at about a year old decided one day that my outdoor plants were the enemy. She tried to kill Monster just like a rabbit. When I found it , no soil ,leaves chewed, roots all but gone, and the main stem literaly crushed. I cried because there are so many memories around that plant. Miracles of miracles it lived!

That is an amazing plant! I find it difficult to rearrange my plants for the wintertime. Most of my plants I bought specifically for a certain spot in my house, but due to heating and winter-light, I have to move them around a bit and that is so challenging!

That does sounds very challenging. Buying a couple grow lights and humidifiers will give you a little bit of flexibility if you want to move some to different places in your house.
