Im a schizophrenic. I do doordash for extra money. One order at night, i arrived and walked to the door, placed his food down and took a picture. I got in my car and drove away. 30 minutes later he called and asked where his food was, i totally remember taking the picture at his doorstep. So he took it up with Doordash. An order later, i opened my back door and.. saw his order. I was so confused why it was there. I remembered everything about going there and taking the picture.
He said I was never on his cameras.. Appearantly i hallucinated the whole delivery. I was there, but must of never left the car or even drove up..
What was i doing then?? Staring blankly at the windshield?
I called him and apologized but he already got his refund. I felt so terrible. Im on medication and nothing works. It just goes to show how easily some misfirings in the brain can completely alter your sense of reality.

Men have long repressed, rejected, and resisted the feminine. But I think they're finally waking up that emotion /intuition is as powerful and necessary to healthy humanhood and rationality as our intellectual ways of knowing and being. Cheers!

There is a correlation between symbols, sound frequency, and healing. Cymatics provides us with proof that specific symbolic patterns form with changing sound frequency, similar to the mandala patterns. Music has been proven to help heal the mind, body, and soul. It's remarkable that music in specific frequency can cause neuroplasticity or literally cure the body of cancer or mental illness/trauma.

    • Carl Jung’s exploration of the psyche and the archetypes is a profound journey into understanding the depths of human consciousness. His assertion that “everything in the unconscious seeks outward manifestation” resonates deeply with the idea that our inner world shapes our external reality. Jung’s division of the psyche into the conscious and unconscious realms, and further into the personal and collective unconscious, provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the complexities of human behavior and experience.
The concept of archetypes as universal, inherited patterns that shape our psychic experiences is particularly fascinating. These archetypes, as Jung describes, are the “river-beds along which the current of psychic life has always flowed.” They are the foundational structures of our unconscious mind, influencing our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in ways we often do not realize. This idea that we are born with a set of archetypes, much like we are born with bodily organs, underscores the intrinsic nature of these patterns in our psychological makeup.
Jung’s belief that consciousness emerged from the unconscious is a testament to the evolutionary journey of the human psyche. This emergence of consciousness, while bringing about the ability to reflect, doubt, and question, also introduces the burden of suffering. As Jung aptly puts it, “the development of consciousness is the burden, the suffering, and the blessing of mankind.” This duality of consciousness - its power to adapt and innovate, alongside its capacity to cause inner turmoil - is a central theme in Jung’s work.
Moreover, Jung’s insights into the fluid boundary between consciousness and the unconscious highlight the dynamic nature of the psyche. The analogy of the spotlight on a dark stage vividly illustrates how our awareness can shift, bringing different aspects of our psyche into focus while others recede into the background. This fluidity is crucial for personal growth and self-awareness, as it allows us to integrate previously unconscious elements into our conscious understanding.
In today’s world, where there is a “total disorientation in regard to the ends of human existence,” Jung’s call for a vast amount of psychological knowledge is more relevant than ever. Understanding the interplay between our conscious and unconscious minds, and the role of archetypes in shaping our experiences, can provide valuable insights into our behavior and motivations. It can help us navigate the complexities of modern life with greater self-awareness and psychological resilience.
In conclusion, Jung’s exploration of the unconscious and the archetypes offers a rich tapestry of insights into the human psyche. His work encourages us to delve deeper into our inner world, to make the unconscious conscious, and to embrace the full spectrum of our psychological existence. This journey, while challenging, holds the promise of greater self-understanding and personal growth.
    • Carl Jung’s exploration of the unconscious and the archetypes is a profound journey into understanding the depths of the human psyche. His assertion that our personality is shaped by how we engage with the unconscious is both enlightening and challenging. The idea that we must change our relationship with the unconscious to achieve psychological wholeness resonates deeply with me.
Jung’s concept of the shadow, the repressed aspects of our personality, is particularly compelling. It is a stark reminder that self-awareness and self-criticism are essential for personal growth. By confronting our shadow, we not only temper its negative effects but also reclaim parts of ourselves that we might have unjustly deemed as weaknesses. This process of integration is crucial for developing a more complete and authentic self.
The notion that the personal unconscious must be dealt with before accessing the collective unconscious is a logical progression in Jung’s framework. It underscores the importance of self-reflection and personal healing as prerequisites for tapping into the deeper wisdom of our species. The collective unconscious, with its archetypes, offers a rich tapestry of symbols and patterns that can guide us through life’s challenges. These archetypes, whether they manifest as the mother, father, hero, or the Self, provide a roadmap for navigating the complexities of human existence.
However, Jung’s critique of modern man’s disconnection from the collective unconscious is a sobering observation. Our obsession with technology, self-image, and social validation has indeed narrowed our attentional field, making it difficult to connect with the deeper layers of our psyche. This disconnection not only stifles personal growth but also has broader societal implications. When we ignore the wisdom of the archetypes, we risk falling into destructive patterns that can lead to social and psychological turmoil.
Jung’s emphasis on the importance of symbols and dreams as gateways to the unconscious is a valuable insight. Dreams, in particular, offer a unique window into the unconscious, providing us with symbols that can illuminate our path to self-understanding. By paying attention to our dreams and engaging in practices that foster a connection to the unconscious, such as meditation and art, we can begin to bridge the gap between our conscious and unconscious minds.
In conclusion, Jung’s work on the unconscious and archetypes is a testament to the complexity and depth of the human psyche. It challenges us to look beyond the surface of our consciousness and explore the hidden realms within. By doing so, we can achieve a greater sense of wholeness and live more authentically. The journey to making the unconscious conscious is not an easy one, but it is undoubtedly a path worth taking for those seeking true psychological health and fulfillment.

In all the [totally bogus] "presidential elections" I've had to endure, I've never seen anything like it. It's like his supporters are in love with him. Have they been hypnotized? 8:14 No it's not, also having dominating instincts doesn't necessitate "surety" - or even a lack of consciousness/mind. Merely a different type of mind/processing..... also, as a programmer, there's just no relevant archetype for me, they're all vague and unhelpful for this level of details oriented, long term, technical task. There's no archetypes to adopt that aren't vague.

    • @SureasRain-z9x
      @SureasRain-z9x 16 годин тому +2

Attempting to force a one-to-one connection between a mere job title ('programmer') and a holistic pattern of behavior (Sage, Warrior, Trickster, etc) is bound to be difficult.
To say that no set of archetypal behaviors could neatly account for your actions- in your present state- is a bold claim, in my experience.
One's own patterns, as well as the characteristic primordial traps that one is prone to fall into (in cyclical fashion), are easier for those around us (friends, foes, clinical therapists, etc) to detect than they are for us to map out for ourselves- in real-time, at least.
An existence or identity that is mostly confined to the sphere of 'programming' (or any other markedly intellectual pursuit) is inescapably bound to the "disintegrated intellect" archetype.
I'm not saying that this is you; I am merely suggesting that one-dimentional coders or intellectuals will tend to exhibit similar trait deficiencies and excesses- mostly due to chiselling hard at a small fragment of their personality, at the expense of developing a more expansive array of faculties (which will inevitably begin approximate one or more of the iconic archetypes that are net-positive and the stuff of literature).
If in addition to programming well, you also engage in a number of developmental or life-giving endeavors, them programming itself is probably just a comparatively small branch of the archetype people resonate with when they seek your friendship/love/protection/whatever (with intellectual stimulation somewhere in the mix).
Jung is about wholeness and harmony, much like what is implied by the (usually ommited) second half of the Shakespearean maxim: "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but often times better than a master of one."

There is no birth there is no death or we could say that the two happen ALL THE TIME. TIME ! which does not exist at all ! You are are just a fictional story in your head fed by a never-ending stream of thoughts and society makes sure you are always being fed the thoughts that give it continuity and authority hence we always end-up with totalitarian systems of control and oppression. Wake up! The world is a mental asylum!
