Great video Max. I liked the explanation for notating piles, I didn't realize that notes are public info, good to know. You got me interested with the DDFT reference, because that was what DD looked like when I first played it, but it just reminded me how unequipped I am to play Doomsday xD

@@Syaska the majority of paper legacy events are proxy-friendly, and for the ones that aren’t, many legacy players have pretty extensive collections and are happy to lend out decks to friends or trustworthy acquaintances!

Great video and thrilled to see you releasing them regularly! When sideboarding in match 1, is there a reason I am missing for the thoracle not in consideration for cuts? I would have assumed it is mostly a dead card without doomsday, and the scry ability not enough of a reason to keep it in. Thanks! Great video and congrats for the result! I would personally not sideboard in Barrowgoyfs versus a fairish creature decks like Cradle control. Seems so that they always have so many tools to deal with opposing creatures and they cannot side everything out for combo hate cards. Barrowgoyf gives precious life points sure but when trading with threats and answers starts it turns too many opposing dead cards into live cards. Of course this is a little bit hard to evaluate since I haven't played that much in MH3 meta and cannot tell what are the major deciding factors in each matchup. Keep up the good work! :)
Hey, great content! I've been considering getting into doomsday recently, although I have a question, how important is the 4th underground sea? I already own 3 and I kinda don't really want to get a 4th one, how much worse off is the deck? What would you replace it with?
@@username1232735 it’s important enough to borrow one for a super high stakes event like eternal weekend, but only comes up when facing down several wastelands and making sure you can keep fetching them. An extra fetch, watery grave, or 2nd undercity sewers will cover you in 99% of cases.

The 4th Underground Sea is not very important, not nearly as much as the LED.
If you have other duals, you can consider (pun intended) splashing green. That way you can split your duals and you only need 3 sea.
With the psychic frog and barrowgoyf would deep analysis be interesting ?
