You mentioned in a recent video a newborn hat fold, I would like to see that one. I would like to see all the folds, so that I know my options, especially during the preemie / Newborn stage. I knew only two folds before watching this video pad fold and origami. With my 5 Lb 7oz baby I used prefolds and covers which looked so bulky. I had good flats available to me but did not know any of the newborn flat folds. Thank you for being so through with all the details of cloth diapering. Love Your channel!

Yes, then stay dry liners are used for providing dry feel to the baby. French terry is kind of the weaving, how long something will last on baby depends on many factors like how old is baby, using during day or night, with or without cover, bamboo or cotton French terry, newborn flat or onesize flat, flat or preflat etc etc.
Do you mean to say leak? We flat, preflats and fitteds are highly absorbent but not waterproof, so if you are using highly absorbent material flats or preflats they will hold good amount of output, but you need to change them when damp in the front. As long as the fit is snug it won’t leak from the sides, but do need to be changed on timely manner. They should be fine for quick naps too, however it’s advised to use a cover on top of the flats and preflats or using a pocket diapers are better for longer naps or when baby sleeps.

Ah! Alright. How about bamboo French Terry and the baby is about 7.5 months and for daytime use ?
Onesize flat or preflats combo should last about 2-3 hours without cover and about 3-4 hours with covers.

If right absorbency is added for the baby and the snug fit has been assured babies should not leak if they lay on side or on their tummy
