Shigeru Nakajima on Friday watched a live streaming video tour provided by billionaire Paul G. Allen's exploration team.
Allen's team, after eight years of searching, have said they found the wreck of the Musashi earlier in March - at a depth of one kilometre (3,280 feet) in the Sibuyan Sea.

True honor is a warrior that lived against great odds to give his recollection of history. Some die for honor and some live for theirs
I hear about new ships every day. This is another one in the books for me.
Every day?
Musashi was actually the sister ship of Yamato
Rest in peace warriors.
After they attacked us naa go to hell
@@nolanriley9865 actually shut your mouth. Those men followed their orders and performed their duty despite the overwhelming odds.
You want someone to be salty at then blame the Japanese high command.
still kicking
now he is 99
is he still alive
Well he’s not now
Passed away in 2006 unfortunately.
Does lifting a sunken battleship from the ocean floor counts as a military grave violation?
Of course.
I think yes because the soldiers died in there
@@OceanlinerOfTheSeaSailors*
People be thinking its Yamato😭
sadly saburo sakai japans second highest ranked ace pilot died by a heart attack but you can see his a6m2 plane number v-103 at the Australian war memorial I don't know how it got their though.
Waste of war....the yamato class had become obsolete even before the keel ever touched the water
They built carriers but the real waste is thinking they can beat the US, no matter what Japan built, obsolete or not the US was just too powerful
All japanese fire and control systems were obsolete compared to us ships.
1 like- raise yamato
The survivors are the soldiers
You saying that military personnel who lost there lives in battle don't deserve to be honored?
Legendary ship Ijn Yamato
Hey Thats Not 94 Years Its 71 Years on Seafloor Search On Canculator 2015-1944
He was 23 when it happened. They mean the man not the boat.
Быть воином - жить вечно
If this guy’s boat got sunk and he was just floating in the middle of the ocean then how did he get saved? I didn’t think the Japanese sent rescue boats over to pick up survivors.
Admiral Kurita's battlegroup stayed and rescued the survivors.
They actually do. They’re not afraid to die in battle but they do recognize it’s wasteful to let people die when they can be saved.
IJN Yamato? 😭
They already found it.
It's Musashi, it's sister Ship, only missing Shinano which was a converted Yamato from Battleship to Carrier.
Oh? Good Musashi now?
360p
This was recorded prior to 2006 when he passed away.
The Mushasi is gonashi
Is that the battleship yamato????

He run from war with jumping to the water.
the officer told him to listen
KaryaTermasyhur You say this as if you wouldn't do the same. You're getting bombarded with torpedos and bombs and your friends are getting torn apart by aircraft fire. If the officer told you to abandon ship, you definitely would
Being told to abandon ship from an officer is an order...he was following orders, after taking 20 torpedo's 18 bombs and 15 near miss bombs the Musashi was doomed and sinking.......so how can you say he ran from war? Idiot.
I found the Armchair Admiral
🤡
